“A nice place to stop on the way to the North Shore. In addition to the restaurant, inside there is a gift shop and jewelry counters. We ordered the half chicken plate and the shell-on garlic shrimp plate, which were each $18. Chicken was cooked well and had a subtle sweet smoky flavour. I recommend the shrimp too, which were buttery, garlicky, fresh, and plentiful. The mac salad was the best I've had on this trip so far. Loved that they have lots of seating inside and big bathrooms to wash your hands before/after your meal. Will definitely come back.“
“#9 of 52 (trying a new restaurant at least once a week) This is not a new restaurant to me (but I haven't eaten here in many years) but it is for my guy so we're going to count it as a new restaurant for us this week. I remember how tight parking can be so I actually ordered online so if we couldn't park or find a table we'd just bring it home. There were three spots available when we got there (yipee) so we parked and went inside. There are just a few tables inside and it must have been our lucky day because we got the last table. I grabbed our food and headed to the table. I ordered the half chicken with fries and the Mike's melt. We also got honey mustard and the lava hot as our sauce choices on the side. I do like that they put the chicken right on top of the fries. All that yummy chicken juice just ends up all over the fries. I'm not sure what the fries are seasoned with but they are good. The chicken is delicious! It's fall off the bone tender and the skin is very flavorful. I've never had one of their sandwiches so I was looking forward to trying the Mike's melt. It's dark meat chicken, bacon, cheese, ranch, honey mustard and hot sauce. The bread was perfectly soft and crunchy at the same time. They give you a good amount of chicken so no complaints there. My only complaint is about the sides and sauces. With the exception of the fries, all the sides and sauces taste like they come out of a jar, can or bottle. Yes, the chicken is the star, but I wish the sides and sauces shined too. Definitely give this place a try. It's worth you dollars!“

“My sister has been living on Oahu for 13 years now and I can't believe out of all the times I've visited, I've never tried huli huli chicken from anywhere. Well, I finally got to try it on this trip. We came by on a Sunday at 11 and there was no line. We were doing our own North Shore food crawl, so we got half a chicken to share with everyone. The chicken was so tender and flavorful - even the white meat. Even my niece, who doesn't really eat chicken, liked it. It's also kind of fun watching them cook all the chicken.I'm so happy to have found this place and will definitely be back for my next visit to the island.“
“This is just hands down really good chicken. They don't have alot of options but you can choose either wings or boneless. We had the boneless garlic with honey I feel like the sauce could be better mixed not just honey poured onto the wings. The chicken was still good though. We also had regular wings and soy and garlic and all of the chicken was cooked great. The only gripe I have is that they should have a 6 peice they kind of force you to pay a hefty price for 10 pieces at $17.99-18.99. They should either have a 6 piece for $10 or atleast a combination where you can try all of the flavors. Definitely worth a try maybe share a couple of them with your family as a snack. “I have visited this establishment approximately twice, and on both occasions, I chose to dine in. During peak times, the queue can become quite long and the service may be slower than desired. However, when the restaurant is less busy, the wait time is minimal or nonexistent. One aspect that I particularly appreciate about this establishment is the positive and friendly atmosphere. The staff members are courteous and welcoming, greeting customers with a warm "Aloha." Despite being situated within Seafood City, which can be quite crowded, the restaurant manages to provide a variety of seating options, including regular chairs, stools, high chairs, and benches. They also offer tables that can accommodate teams, small to large groups, or just two people. I would like to express my appreciation for the ladies who diligently ensure that the tables, counters, and chairs are wiped and cleaned after each customer's use. In terms of menu recommendations, I highly suggest their spicy chicken sandwich, spaghetti, peach mango pie, and fried chicken. However, I must mention that on both of my visits, the chicken tenders I received were unfortunately hard, stale, and of poor quality. Therefore, if I were to order the chicken tenders again, I would kindly request that they be freshly prepared. Overall, my experiences at this restaurant have been positive. “All the popeyes on Island have great service, but Pearl City location is just AWESOME all around. The workers are friendly, service is always 100%, the dinning area is always clean food is always hot, food packing is neat and wait times are not even a wait at all. Someone always greets you when you enter, rather it be the cashier, the cook, or a worker on their lunch. One person in particular that stands out is a super friendly kind lady. Her name is Karen. Every single time and I mean every single time because I visit the Pearl City location a lot she is always smiling and in a great mood. Always multitasking and getting orders out proficiently.
