“Love this place, I'm not even gluten free or vegetarian but their baked goods are delicious regardless. From experience, it's rare that I come across a tasty gluten free treat or even bread but they have mastered it somehow. I would recommend the cinnamon roll with the icing(also vegetarian). Also, they're strictly gluten free so no worries with cross contamination or whatever. Expensive though. But hey it's Hawaii, but still no excuse.“
“Probably my new favorite go-to boba shop! Just tucked away in Kapahulu just a little before popeyes. You take a slight left right at the traffic light past safeway and the store is right at the corner.Parking - it is pretty limited. My friend and I parked at the lot just a little up from the store, or there is ample street parking too!Drinks - LOVE their mochi drinks. It's probably something I haven't tried on the islands. My go to right now is their oreo mochi milk tea with brown sugar boba. Their boba is also made fresh and has the perfect chewing consistency. You can also change your sweetness level to your liking! The staff there is super helpful and kind. It was our first time and the kind women answered all of our questions with pictures! It also seems as though you can relax and study here for anyone looking for a place to focus and relax! They also have free wifi and board games available. Looking forward to trying new drinks here!“
“My daughter asked for an ice cream cake for her birthday and Slice by HB Bakery did an amazing job. We didn't know the logistics of picking flavors and it took quite a while, but the person behind the counter was so kind and patient. When we picked up our custom cake days later, we were floored by the presentation. It tasted even better!!! We have gotten Baskin Robbins and Coldstones many times and this cake far exceeds both. For special occasions, well worth the price. We'll be back!“
“Go for the best shrimp experience. Ambience is not their thing, but the number 1,3 & 5 are awesome shrimp dishes. Waited less than 5 minutes, ate on a wooden bench with disposable plate and fork and frankly I will be going back again, and again. I don’t often review, but you guys definitely deserve the 5 stars.“
“I've been frequenting this bakery for years now and wanted to say that I love their baked goods! Parking is right out back (enter from Waialae) with a few stalls on the left located next to the bamboo trees. Or you can just park on the street right out front. I can tell that all of their items are made from scratch (and love!) and the flavor and taste are exceptional. My go-tos are always their animal cookies and cupcakes. Just recently, Weheart started making these cute Mini-cakes. I wanted to pick one up for my grandmothers 83rd birthday. I called to see if they had any left in stock, as this is a walk-in only cake, and they did. I thought that the cake flavor would be something simple such as vanilla or chocolate but surprisingly it was a delicious flavor of strawberry guava! My grandmother loved it, and said it as "too cute to eat."As a customer for years, I've never written a review but wanted to thank Weheart for always staying consistent over the years. The quality and taste of their confections never changes. This company always delivers in terms of freshness, quality, and consistency. Mahalo piha Weheartcakecompany!“
“Came in right before closing, and Nana greeted us! Walked us through all of their baked goods on display, it felt right at home with Nana sharing which ones were her favorite, and which ones Nana influenced. Spent some time talking to Nana and Cece, and as always, it's great to see small local businesses who want to do good in the community. With paint and sips, and kids baking sessions coming up, it's clear Cece wants to do more than just give us some sweet treats! The Haupia crunches were amazing. And as my girlfriend stated "I could just eat the crust!" And the pecan bar was just like the crunches' crust, and was just sooooo delicious! Go and support them! Looking forward to getting muddy buddies, kettle corn, or Tajin covered gummies next visit :)“
