“We went on Sunday so they open at 1pm...we traveled from Waikiki as that is where we are vacationing, but we wanted to support a Black owned business while we were in Oahu. ????...it did not disappoint. The only thing I would change is I wish the mac-n-cheese was baked with a crispy top...but it was decent. The service was awesome, the food was amazing and we had a variety of differe t dishes. I bill was about $160 US not including tip, we was a party of 4. We left stuffed and had take away boxes...lol! We ordered too much food...as they say...our eyes bigger than our stomach. It's definitely a must!!Kid-friendliness: My son loved the food...hush puppies, fries, pork chop ?“
“My husband loves their shrimp and grits. We had breakfast there once and returned for dinner. Food is good. I believe the husband is running the establishment with his wife and when we had dinner, their young kids were there too. Daddy was doing the cooking while mommy was mining the customers and they both the children. This made my heart smile. Trying to run a business with young kids, not easy. Family core, much respect.“
“Amazing Wings. Feels like home cooking. You have to come down for lunch and try out these delicious wings! They will be closing this location at the end of the month. There is another location of JBPPH. 915 North Rd, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI 96860. It's right next to the fitness center.“
“Mr. Jones is a barbecue Savant, nice clean smoke with clean bbq favor, the wood essence really soaks into the meat. Overall great pit master with amazing customer-service. The rib tips make your eyes roll back to with the tenderness in the flavor always ask for extra sauce. That joint is liquid crack! Definitely going back as soon as possible. FYI... the location is at Pearl Ridge Sears, where all the food trucks are located on the downtown side.“
“This place exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was great but not overcrowded for a Friday night dinner.Fried pickles: Spears came out hot and delicious. Only complaint, was the price (roughly $11 for 6 spears)The kids mac & cheese I would eat, it was a generous portion and it was really good (fully expected generic store bought)My wife had the brisket which was fantastic and I got the shrimp & grits which was equally as delicious. We will definitely be coming backKid-friendliness: We came with 3 kids (ages 3 months -6), for a restaurant with a bar as soon as you walk in it was pretty mild. We walked in first to check it out before unloading the car. Standard kids menu and crayons“
