We came to Southern Love after my daughters art class. We wanted to try something different that we never had before. Southern Love was pretty easy to find but the parking is what's a little hairy. We called when we got there and the guy said that we could take the last spot and park in front of the dumpster. I've ate at Southern Love multiple times now. I've ate their brunch and dinner menus. Brunch lasts till 2pm and dinner starts at 4pm. At brunch I ate their Chicken Biscuits N' Gravy, and Shrimp N' Grits. Their buttermilk biscuits are really good. Crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. My husband loves their shrimp and grits. We had breakfast there once and returned for dinner. Food is good. I believe the husband is running the establishment with his wife and when we had dinner, their young kids were there too. Daddy was doing the cooking while mommy was mining the customers and they both the children. This made my heart smile. Trying to run a business with young kids, not easy. Family core, much respect.
