“Best acai bowl in the island and maybe in the world period. We could talk with the owner she is so adorable. She explained how they try to make things different here for instance the acai is mixed with coconut meat that's why it doesn't melt or get watery.we ordered two of their special menu and were so satisfied. We can't wait to come back ? . One of the best food spot in the island“

“Wow! This was such an unexpected delight and the best food of our week in Kauai. We ordered the mango bread, macadamia cookie, chai smoothie, cut pineapple, and a flourless chocolate cake. Annoyed we didn’t try some of the other food options that looked amazing, including fresh coconuts to drink, sandwiches and wraps bursting with greens, and banana pudding. We scoped out what other customers were eating. There’s a counter with Ayurvedic body oils that we sampled and loved. The stand also sells supplements at reasonable prices. Overall, we were overjoyed with this stand and commend the kind folks running it. We sat at a well-shaded counter and ate everything. My partner said “it doesn’t get better than that,” when he tried the chocolate cake. My 13 year old said it was the best pineapple she’s ever had. I agree with them both. “Talk about a great place for burgers and fries/ onion rings make no mistake Duane's ono char burgers is the place to be. If you have never heard about or tried this place you don't know what you're missing out on. Service was amazing, a lot of parking and not to mention they do have an outside seating area. All in all a great place to have a handheld meal that tastes amazing.“

“I LOVE Nanea so MATCHA! The best matcha in the World. My favorite is Oat Rose Matcha with touch of Honey. Mason & his team are always bringing the good vibes. Also, you get to sip amongst Native Hawaiian plants!!! A must visit spot on the North Shore, bring your dogs!????“

“The little yogurt parfaits are satiating, balanced, and feel like dessert without being too sweet. I also love the little glass jars. I didn't try other salads they had in them, but they'd be good to take on a hike. Had a tasty green juice and chocolate Mac nut milk. Not a fan of the blood transfusion, however beets can be hit or miss. This very much so tasted like straight beet juice.“

“Probably the best coffee I have had on Kauai! They unfortunately were out of MacNut Milk when I was here therefore I was unable to get my first coffee choice, however I went with my runner up CocoDream and I have no regrets. Definitely puts the other coffee to shame! Would absolutely return here for my specialty coffee Fix! You can also add CBD to any drink for added chillaxing, and many dairy-free options!“

“A solid meal after kayaking and hiking the sleeping giant trail. We got the seared ahi tuna - good, a bit more seasoning would make it great, mac salad was great. Also got the Korean chicken - great flavor, this one was a winner. Service was quick, prices reasonable and the inside dining area was small but nice.“

“We wanted something close by and searched sandwiches and this place popped up. I loved the name and read the reviews. They were all amazing, but older. We LOvED our sandwiches and Tina and knew I wanted to write a review so there would be something more recent. We took our sandwiches to go and ate at Lydgate beach, just a short drive away. We are still sitting here perfectly content with full tummies and beautiful views!! These sandwiches were amazing!!! So glad to find some so delicious and close on this side of the island. “This place was highly recommended via web searches and that proved very true. We had never tried shave ice before. I had the Dragons Blood and my wife, the Lave Flow. Both were excellent and a great way to cool down on a hot day. Highly recommended.“

“Tiny little food truck serving up BIG flavors. Might be some of the best tacos I've ever had. Hubby and I traded tacos from getting an order of two each and both were delicious. Octopus Tacos had great sauce and cooked perfectly - you can tell how fresh by the buttery texture. Grilled fish enchilada taco was especially good with the added hot sauce. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for seafood tacos with flavor at a reasonable price. We parked in the lot next door which seemed fine, we ate so quickly at the picnic tables there that not sure if you can get in trouble parking there or not“

“If you cannot find them in the old location, don't despair! They moved to a larger store near the Market. Look for them in building A. Juice is as tasty as ever and the new location is gigantic in comparison. There's a whole lot more to discover.“

“The ahi nori wrap is to die for. I've been getting it for 20 years or however long Mermaids has been open, I don't miss a visit there at least once whenever I'm on island. Yeah, sometimes they aren't open when I wished they were, but it's worth coming back the next day...“

The pickled onions and the crunchy cucumber...and don't forget the Lilikoi dressing makes the salad! We are definitely going back. There is so much more I want to try! “If you love smoked meats, check out chicken in a barrel! We shared the chicken plate for two which comes with two scoops of rice and a side of chili. The chicken is very tender. There's also bbq sauce that paired well with the chicken. This location has a few outdoor tables. The staff was very friendly and there's a tiny outdoor sink to wash your hands.“

“This restaurant is very well put together and their food was amazing! The decorations are super cool and give the place a very nice atmosphere. The ingredients are all fresh and delicious and the meat is very good quality! The portions were also great and the price was very good! “We stopped in and had a great lunch. The food and service were excellent. The Japanese Burrito and Rainbow Burrito were very good; similar to a large Sushi hand roll, but rolled like burrito. The edamame was fresh and the Furikake fries were different and had great flavor. We really enjoyed it! We will definitely be coming back again soon.“

“This is one of my favorite spots in North Shore Kauai. It's in the Kong Lung shopping center in Kilauea near a bunch of boutique shops and restaurants. They have a bunch of outdoor seating and I love the cute atmosphere. I went with a group of 5 ladies and we all liked our sandwiches and pizza. They also have a bunch of baked goods like muffins and malasadas. I like that there's a water station but also a lot of drink options. My salad was also super fresh and yummy. This is a great place to go for delicious food in a casual, outside area. There's also shaded seating available.Vegetarian options: They have quite a few vegetarian options including pizza, sandwiches, soups, and salads.Dietary restrictions: My friend is gluten-free and was glad they had gluten-free pizza crusts. She also can't do dairy and they had house-made vegan cheese.“

“The freshest poke we had on this island!! We got spicy ahi poke nachos and it was my first time trying fish roe and actually enjoying it. Normally it’s off putting but that roe was the perfect topping on the nachos! The shrimp tacos were tasty also! With the quality of the seafood being top notch, everything else tasted amazing? highly recommend!!!“

“I always worry when dining at a location with a beautiful location that the food will be subpar and service not great. This was not the case here! The drinks and food were delicious, our server was super friendly and fast-we had to get to the airport to catch our flight-and she was super accommodating. She brought me a drink based on my vague request and it was super yummy. The manager checked in with us, which was great. Highly recommend!“

“We stopped in to pick up some pineapples to bring home and ended up ordering lunch. This was a nice surprise because I didn't realize the store served food!The food was great. I got their special today, which was a Hawaiian Cuban with tortilla soup and some flan. The sandwich tasted great and didn't skimp on any ingredients, the tortilla soup is loaded and delicious, and the flan reminded me how great the dish can be. The cooks making these are very proud of their dishes and incorporate family recipes- very cool!I wish I had found this place earlier on my trip. Seems like the best discoveries happen on the last day.“

“This is a wonderful restaurant with innovative dishes. Probably some of your favorites but a few not regularly served here on Kauai. This was a special night with a family members birthday. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was great but be aware if you order all at once it may come out all at once. Pretty much everything we had was outstanding with the exception of the fish tacos. They are very spicy and salty and for me they were inedible. The rest of the table agreed. The waitress removed the full plate with two small bits out of it and we explained why but it was not removed from our bill. In addition be aware they charge 3% of your bill if you use a credit card.Dietary restrictions: Well if you are on low salt eating out in general is difficult but the beet salad may be a good choice. The fried brussel sprouts were delicious and the predominant taste was more vinegar. I would say stay away from the fish tacos extraordinarily over salted and very spicy.“
