“This is wonderful ❤️ Ethiopian food in a very interesting roadside co-op. Very yummy, friendly staff, inexpensive. Loved the lentil stews and that you can always opt for a vegetarian meal if you desire. Get the hot sauce on it, though!If you are ever on the road near Kapa'a, stop in and try it!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a dirt parking lot and you have to cross some grass to get to it. There aren't easy paved paths around the area.“

“What a great opportunity to eat raw living vegan food on Kauai. The woman working was incredibly friendly with red hair. I got the nacho's, and the vanilla smoothie,yum. I could eat this every day. A really cool, unique spot tucked off the highway in Anahola lots of nature nearby. I love this. Please try this very unique restaurant on Kauai and support local business.“

“Talk about a great place for burgers and fries/ onion rings make no mistake Duane's ono char burgers is the place to be. If you have never heard about or tried this place you don't know what you're missing out on. Service was amazing, a lot of parking and not to mention they do have an outside seating area. All in all a great place to have a handheld meal that tastes amazing.“

“Fabulous parked Food Truck located in Kapaa! The Truck is located in the middle of shopping and tents, which makes it a prime location to have a lot of fun. We ordered the fish tacos, chicken tacos, and homemade hibiscus juice. They have covered picnic tables that have some overgrown plants, which makes it cool and fun to sit under. The owner hand makes the tortillas, and you can tell. The flavor of the tacos and tortillas are so fresh and delicious. If you are looking to do some shopping and have lunch, stop here! If you are in the mood for authentic mexican food, stop here. If you are looking for some friendly natives, talk to the workers, they are kind, talented, and know good food!!“

“We had our Kintaro dinner last night. Everything was amazing! The drinks, the famous Kim family's won ton's, Kaua'i's best since the 1960's, incredible tako cucumber salad was so fresh, the triple sashimi, teriyaki beef skewer, chicken skewer, rock & roll sushi roll and shrimp tempura. The service is always outstanding and the attention to detail in their food shines. The ambiance is modern and welcoming. Highly recommend Kintaro restaurant to anyone looking for fresh authentic Japanese cuisine!“

“A great little dive. Stopped in a couple times during our stay the bartenders were all super friendly and recommended the fish and chips. Sometimes eating at a dive can be risky but it was so good! They make their own tartar sauce and it was exceptional I don't normally care for tartar. Drinks were reasonably priced.“

“Love this innovative & popular restaurant! The ambiance & vibe is artsy & fun! You'll find Gabe behind the extensive whiskey bar creating awesome cocktails. The food - from starters (such as brussel sprouts, carrots & mac&cheese balls), to all the entrees is consistently fantastic with multiple layers of flavor & is perfectly seasoned. Our favorites are the fresh fish (usually Ono or Mahi Mahi), pub steak & lamb chops. The bread pudding is my favorite dessert, though the cheesecake is pretty awesome. This restaurant has become our favorite for date nights & our first choice to share with visiting family & friends! I highly recommend reservations!“

“This place was better than any thai spot I've been to on oahu, and I've been to most of them. The pad thai was fire, the red curry was fire, the spring rolls were so fresh, and also fire! Took it to go and the food was still piping hot when we got to our spot.“

“We stayed at the hotel and found ourselves here at some point every day. Melia was the best server, fun, upbeat and positive with lots of great recommendations! Loved happy hour (both of them!) with drink specials and $7 pupus/ small plates - all of which were really delicious. Also enjoyed the live entertainment each night, relaxing views, great way to unwind in the evening. Knocked off a star because they changed the menu halfway through our stay, and the new things on the menu were not as good as what we had on the old menu - skip the spare ribs, drenched in overly sweet sauce.“

“I work in princeville, but I live in Kapaa, so when I am too lazy to make dinner I'll come here for tacos. To be honest, this Paco's Tacos location is a lot better than the other ones on the island. They are fast with orders (I usually all ahead and they will be ready by the time I reach Kilauea). I get the al pastor tacos, beans, and rice. They taste great!“

“This is a locals steakhouse and priced like one. Don't expect fancy tourist atmosphere or prices. I am a steak snob and their beef is top quality. Their vegetables options are minimal and the salad is nothing to brag about. Wine list was okay with old world and new world wines. Service was top notch. This is a meat & potato restaurant.
