“This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE spot! When they had a good truck I used to drive an hour to the farmers market every week to get their yummy avo toast.... And now it's available 5 days a week with plenty of other options..”
“The good is amazing! Anything you order is great! Love ordering the Horchata or Agua Fresca to complement the meal. The service is fast and friendly. They really go above and beyond to make their customers happy and are great at recommending things to try if it is your first time. Lots of food for the price and the ride out to Honomu is very scenic. Very laid back community. A little outside of the town of Hilo, but worth the drive!”
“Best bakery I've been to on the big island. I had the bearclaw, brownie, coconut macaroons, and shortbread cookies. They are all soo good! Definitely want to go back and try everything else.”
“OMG! My 1st experience there since Piilani kitchen opened its doors, was last Saturday, 3/16/!I was bored at home when I spocked a pic of their, panini sandwiches on IG and I walked the 1/2 mile to their quaint kitchen, just inside the doors of the Onomea Country store.Once there I was immediately greeted by a vivacious young lady, Gracie, ready to take my order!I ordered tacos that 1st day and have been back 2x since !Eat there, at the tables outside so you can taste the freshness straight outta the kitchen!Bon apetito!”
“A great stop and definitely worth a trip! If you want to see the oven in action, you should go on Thursdays (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.). Free tours are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All information is on the homepage! We thought the tour was great! Be prepared for some history lessons too ? The area is also beautiful - would be great to use it for other events as well... (although there are many mosquitoes, so bring some repellent)”
“While out exploring I found this little roadside stand. Tried the Ono wrap and ube shake. Both were fantastic! And the ladies were so nice! Worth the stop if even for a shake/”

Open air windows and pleasant music greet you in the am for strong complimentary coffee and breakfast offerings. Try the spam musubi, especially if you have that resort credit. Evenings great local Hawaiian music and hula dancers entertain you while you enjoy their special island breeze cocktail. Our party of 4 finally decided to just eat dinner there on a Friday night .. place was packed, but food came out pretty quick. We were all surprised how good it was (Im sober so can't blame that). Prices reasonable service friendly. Margherita flat bread, Kailua pork w cabbage and the pulled pork were scarfed quickly. Entertainment was fabulous on Friday. I recommend this place for casual meal and drinks.”
“Hello everyone, i just wanted to mention that Donnas cookies was sold in 2008. The cookies shop was never inhereit by the "son"as previously mention in a comment. It was first own by Donna and her husband, then her parents took ownership as Donna moved on. As they got older,it became hard for them,so in 2008 they sold it.”
“Very nice view of the water. Our waitress Sam was very good, making sure that we were taking care of and explained the menu items very well. The Ono and scallops are outstanding. The wasabi cream sauce was unlike any other I’ve ever tasted. Save room for dessert, and or after dinner drink because they are top-notch. Thank ”
“We visited this restaurant on Wednesday 13/03/2024. When we entered we thought it was closed, but you go around the corner and you will find a pleasant place to sit. The service was nice and attentive. The food was excellent.”

“We stopped in after visiting Akaka Falls, and it was the perfect treat after a short hike! It was really nice to meet the owners. They're super friendly. They serve Kula Shave Ice and the açaí bowl was amazing! The granola is so crunchy and delicious and homemade. My son got a mango shave ice and I also grabbed a jar of lehua honey. The shop is small but they have lots of seating outside in a covered area. There is street parking in front of the stores.”
