“Stopped in for a bite after snorkeling yesterday. The service was great, the place was really clean and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. We got the Katsu Mac n cheese balls and the Kaluha pork quesadilla. Both were cooked perfectly, not greasy and nice size portions. A great little find!“

“I WOULD GIVE IT 6 STARTS. Shaka shake has got to have the best Korean bbq on ALL OF THE ISLAND. The employees care DEEPLY about how their customers enjoy the food. They tell you about which sauces go with which plate. And she even comes up to you and asks how you like it, if you need anything else, etc. this food truck is like a restaurant where you are waited on!!!! Lady in charge is a legend. Pork is phenomenal. Found on Google while driving and as I walked through the maze of food carts looking for them, a man cooking at a grill called out asking how I was and if I wanted a sample of what he was making. Starting talking and realized this was the spot I was looking for. More of a tent and table setup, not in a truck/cart. Good eats, recommend supporting them.“

“This is the BEST spot on the windward side of Oahu for hearty BBQ and smoked meats and meals.I have the pulled pork plate every time I get take out from here & the staff is so sweet, helpful and friendly every visit. “No frills, take out Chinese/local food located up in Palisades in a tiny shopping mall/gas station. Always come here when visiting friends closeby. Reasonably priced and you get your moneys worth. Havent had a bad dish here yet. The chicken katsu curry here is winnahs?“

Not much was explained, even though I said it was my first time at their restaurant and their menu isn’t well explained on its own.Basically they serve all you can eat hotpot OR a bibimbap dish OR some items a la carte (which only include the item.The cost is high for what you get, though now that I know how and what to order here, it wouldn’t be as expensive next time we visit (if).Side note: we didn’t even get a water refill from our waitress… so don’t expect much in the way of service here, sadly.Parking: Only a handful of parking spots in their lot. The workers here are very patient especially when i get indecisive because there are so many great veggie options to choose from so sometimes i have a hard time deciding. They do a are great job in explaining the different ones. Other than that we love the meat jun and fish jun!“
