“Here you meet the most lovely people in Oahu. The servers are sweet and kind. We are sipping shaved ice mano passion fruit and drinking coconut milk from the coconut, and listening to music and Israel's version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and a Wonderful World. I became immediately sentimental with this beautiful rendition of such a lovely song, bringing a gentle tear to my eye, as I remember thankfully, the beautiful moments, bountiful and joyful days of my life. The food truck, up the street from the hotel a few miles, Da Bald Guy had fabulous thick and spicy, super tasty salmon. We loved our food truck experience! Thank youKid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids and the whole family at picnic tables.“

“Ended up going to this place twice. Ordered four different items. The thing I enjoyed the most was the sandwiches. Did not matter which one but I enjoyed the two I did get. They also offered vegan doughnuts which we did not expect so of course we got a few of those. The wife enjoyed the quesadillas and taco type of salad she got.The food was very fresh and the ingredients were excellent. The place is located in a nice little stop off at an old sugar mill. There are bathrooms and other small shops to visit and a ton of food trucks to check out of all different flavors.Kid-friendliness: My kid ran around and chased chickens while there it was an open and pretty unthreatening location for a child to roam free for a bit while you eat.“
“IT'S CORN! I sang that song the whole time I was eating my shoyu butter corn. My bf found Uncle Woody's BBQ Corn bc he knows I love corn!!!!!!!!! I got the shoyu butter while my bf got the baja. Both were delicious, and my only critique would have to be that my corn could have stayed on the grill for another 2-3 minutes. Overall, still yummy, and if we didn't already have so many food spots to check off our list, I probably could have ate 2 more.“

“If you are on the North Shore in Kahuku stop here get one of their smoothies. You won't need anything else to eat. But I do suggest trying the other food trucks. There is some great food here! While my family had shrimp and other food I had a smoothie in a pineapple and it was all I needed. So fresh and delicious. They even give you some pineapple pieces to eat. I had the strawberry, pineapple, banana. Ooh it was ono!!!! Staff are friendly and it is very fast service. Prices are competitive. I will be back!!!“
“This is an amazing breakfast place that gets your food out quickly and has a great view of the cove and beach. This is located inside the turtle bay resort bit locals love to come here and grab a coffee and chill a bit. It is very relaxing and have relatively good priced items my iced matcha was 7 dollars and the breakfast sandwich is 15 dollars. The service is nice but they are busy depending on the time you go. Food came out fast.“
“Medium price; okay grind to the ice; pretty quick. This was the third of four shave ices I got on my trip; it was okay. $6 seemed like a little much for what I got, and the little wooden spoon wasn't awesome, but the ice seemed reasonably well ground and tasty enough. I'd rank this as third of the four ices I had. There were a crapload of flavor options, and they were happy to combine them in any way I wanted, like three of the four places I tried. Staff was friendly enough, and this was probably the quickest shave ice I got. This is in a giant cluster of food trucks and food huts, so it's kind of tourist hell, but also, some of the stuff there is pretty tasty, so, y'know, whatever. And it seemed to have some locals there. I loved sitting and watching the chickens run around.“

“I finally went to their new location in the Lā’ie shopping center and have been 2x so far. They have so many options so I will be back weekly. My first time was Breakfast, and the plate is $17 but HUGE lol I think 2 people can eat it, or save half for later. The Portuguese sausage and eggs were great. The fried rice was different, still tasty, but I keep thinking if it’s Brazilian style lol ??♂️ The sandwiches were great, but take a bite right away while they’re hot. I made the mistake of eating them last, and they weren’t hot anymore (see the breakfast plate photo and you’ll see why it took me so long before eating the sandwiches).2nd time I went for lunch to try all their pasta, and they were good! But if you’re the picky type, the Alfredo sauce wasn’t as creamy as we’re used to but I figure maybe that’s Brazilian style ??♂️ Again, the food was still good (especially the meats for each of our pasta-see photos). And if you love fries and onion rings-they were perfect! And the pesto sauce was our favorite.“

“I've always wanted to visit this shack. They have fast and friendly service, and their acai bowl was delicious. A size small was the perfect amount for 1 person. Parking is pretty much road parking. Many people park across the street even though it says no parking, and carefully cross the road. Would stop by again next time we're visiting the North Shore.Parking: Side of the road parking, no lotKid-friendliness: Area for games and to hang out“

“Cute little food truck in an area with parking. Staff was very friendly. I had the small tropical bowl and my son had the monkey smoothie. Both very tasty and refreshing. Bought a T-shirt and sticker. I love when places have merchandise. Next time I'm on the North Shore I will stop by.“

“Kahuku Farms is a great place to make a stop for lunch if you’re driving along the North Shore of Ohau. They have a farm-to-table café right by the entrance offering many fresh vegetarian options, and plenty of covered outdoor seating for you to enjoy some fresh air looking out onto the farm while you eat. The food here was very fresh and flavorful.Right beside the food Kiosk is a little gift shop selling locally made bath and body, products, chocolate, and pantry items. The farm is open Thursdays to Mondays from 11 am to 4 pm (closed Tuesday and Wednesday), and they offer paid tours of the farm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There’s free parking right when you drive in, along with a washroom, and handwashing station.“
