“Another little gem in Upper Pearl City. The lady serving the shave ice is very nice and friendly. We where the last ones to order and she was so nice, she gave us lots of samples to try from previous order that by the time our order came in, we were full from samples! The amount of shave ice is a lot ( we order a small each), should have ordered just one as it was a lot for my husband and I. The little place is cute with lots of sweet and happy decorations. Make sure to have cash at hand, because this place does not take credit/debit cards.“

“Was craving some bubble tea while on vacation and found this local spot via Google reviews.We had to go up a tight ramp to find parking on the second floor, then take the elevator down to this shop which is at ground floor.We tried a milk tea and a classic winter melon tea. We found the tapioca here to be the perfect texture. They also sell little stickers but only accept cash or Venmo for those. When the lady working here found out that I was Taiwanese but didn’t have cash/Venmo, she graciously decided to gift me one anyway!So glad to have found this cute and welcoming shop!“

“L’AMI Bakery & Cafe, located inside H mart is a Good Bakery. Some of the baked goods were not put out yet and things were trickling in so I bought a selection of what was already available . I personally had the Chocolate Shell Bread. It’s much smaller than most bakeries and the bread wasn’t as soft, but the chocolate filling was generous and had a nice velvety strong chocolate taste. Very yummy. I’m not much of a cookie person but I thought the Red Velvet Cookie was very good and went well with my tea! My mom really enjoyed the Spinach and Feta Danish a lot and said it’s something she would eat again. She also enjoyed the Castella Lovely Bear & Red Bean Bun. My Sister had the Rose Lychee Ade. She said it was too sweet for her tastes but she liked the Soboro Custard Cream Bread. My nephew liked the Garlic Cheese Croissant and Castella Banana. The place was clean and seating was available to enjoy the more cold items to eat right away so I will take advantage of that when I come again to taste the fresh cream and strawberry pastries ? “Shopping in Pearl City, O'ahu, Hawai'i...As we passed Sam's Club while we were riding the new Skyline (rail transportation), my friend from First Grade suggested that we stop by and get lunch there.Okay! We drove from the Halawa Station to the free covered parking at Sam's Club. I'm not a member, so, I didn't know about the $5.98 (plus 4.712% tax) Kalua Pig plate - what a deal! It came with two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad - such a great deal! The Mac salad was a bit bland, but the kalua pig was good!We ate in the cafe of Sam's Club. It's in the corner, near the restrooms. It was a rather cozy space with almost no air conditioning. I had to squeeze our shopping wagon in-between customers and tables and benches. Hmmm...Yes, we had a shopping cart. Some items were just too good to pass up. For example, I got cherries. They were pretty sweet! We also got Mickey Mouse zippered hoodie jackets. They were on sale for less than $15 and were the last two in our size! I also found bags of mochi crunch (Costco didn't have any the last few times that I looked).I wished that I had a cooler in my car. I would have gotten salad kits. I paid about $8 at Foodland. Here at Sam's Club, a similar kit was $2.99. Uhg!Well, maybe I can tag along with my sister to Sam's Club one day. But then again, maybe I'm saving money by not going to Sam's Club? Haha!One challenging thing was:some of the poles were placed in the aisles. We'd have to wait for people to pass before we could get through. Awkward...Overall, it was a fun shopping experience. I liked the spaciousness, air conditioning, clean, bright environment, and scan and go feature. My friend scanned and paid online. We walked right out of the store!“

“Food here was great!!!! so many options it was hard to choose one, I got the green onion pancake with provolone and bacon which was delicious. Also have to try the vanilla bean blended it was sooooooo good! Kevin was a great waiter, so nice and attentive!!Parking: Lots of spots“

“Blondie's is the best vegan restaurant on island in my opinion. It's the most similar to vegan comfort food that can be found in places like Portland and is really unlike any other food available on O'ahu. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is always top notch (Cybil is the absolute sweetest!). The restaurant is run by a mother-daughter duo and my heart is warmed every time I think of this. Even my non-vegan friends and family enjoy the food! Blondie's also happens to make my favorite smoothie of all time—the pipeline paradise. I have something of a smoothie obsession and I literally dream of this smoothie constantly. Highly recommend giving Blondie's a try!“

“Came here for lunch on a weekday. It was bustling but efficient.I got the club sandwich and I have to say, pretty damned tasty!! I love a good club sandwich. This had fresh tomatoes, fresh soft avocado, nice meats, and the bacon was perfect with just the right amount of crunch.The bagel it came on was delicious as well. It came with a tiny salad which had very fresh greens.I'd come back here in an instant! The place is kept spotless and service was friendly and professional.“

“This is the cutest local coffee shop I've been to. We went to Ctown on Easter for supplies and stopped by this cute coffee shop for some caffeine. The mr said he sometimes comes here to work while having his coffee. I ordered a cold americano and w oatmilk and it did not disappoint. If I am in the area I will definitely return. I just wished they had one in Manoa. Hint hint. Support local.“

“Good shave ice. Tasty and giant portion for the regular size. The Darth Vader shave ice was very good. Very small shop but very quick service. The ice could maybe be finer texture but it was still very good. Will definitely come back for more!“
