“Wanted a sit down breakfast with an old diner feel and these are hard to come by nowdays. Closest was in Waipahu so said why not and went down to Rockys. Found street parking and sat immediately at the counter. Havent been here over a decade but everything was still the same?Ordered coffee, the famous Rockys Fried Rice Omelette with green onion and a Banana Pancake. Carbed out but you only live once? Best choice I made. Fyi weekdays they close at 11am so lucky i made it?? Five stars... “Cute little bubble tea cafe hidden in Waipahu. I love to go to Savers and grab myself a bubble drink afterwards. There is a good amount of seating available. There is only one guy working behind the counter, which can cause a lag in service if busy. The tea with cheese foam was yummy and not overly sweet or cheesy when mixed well. A lot of boba cafes have a heavy hand on the sugar, so I LOVE to find a bubble tea where you can taste the TEA.“
“I still love it here. Quality is still amazing and it's so deadly that I work near this area now because all my money goes here. As always, I get my super jumbo wintermelon milk tea. No changes here, no shortcuts, still amazing. I think this is the only place so far that I know of where the boba is still pretty soft and chewy the next day. Ideally I would like to finish my drinks in one day, but if need be, and I guess a good to know for y'all out there if you were wondering. Recently, I tried their version of the Tiger milk tea. I'm not too sure if it was on their menu, but I asked for it and they had it. I like it, not as much as my wintermelon but still good. If you like that immense flavor of brown sugar, you'll love it. A good to know: you can call ahead if you need to. They accept card only if you spend over $10. No seating area due to covid. They have some snacks too if you want a quick and easy bite. I've been going here for years and it's still wonderful. Highly recommend for the quality and will continue to do so.“
“Simple cafe with a warm ambience. 6-7 booths & 5-6 bar stools for the counter. Seat yourself. Greeted quickly with water & coffee. Super friendly & happy staff. The Kim Chee ham omelet was delicious!! Juicy without being runny. Full of flavor! Denver omelet was full too!“
“Not quite sure what this place is...Xpresso Cafe is creative name with an usual layout.Just happened to stop by here while I was in Waipahu and was taken back how dark it was especially since it was on a weekend the vibe here was just simply simple.Majority of the place is like a fun arcade games with some seating while the rest is Xpresso Cafe with a menu offering a huge variety of bites and feeling a bit hungry I got the Ube Latte with Almond Milk and Spicy Burger! The Ube latte was really yummy nothing really stands out but I really liked it and appreciate having the Almond Milk alternative, and my Spicy Burger was that for sure spicy! The sauce was so yummy and spicy though I later recall it didn't come with bacon like the menu says but I thoroughly enjoyed my burger it hit the spot and my appetite was filled! Not quite sure where were able to park but found several street parking making it easy for quick bite with a great staff who was very accommodating, this cute place offers an interesting chill vibe and with food like this makes it Xcellent!Thank you!“
“I tried Mtn Magic because I saw that they were rated #1 shave ice on Ohau. I didn't know about it but we would go to the Leonard's truck for malasadas just next door for years. I would rate the shave ice amongst my top 4 with Shimazu, Ululani & Waiola. Although it is a shack and doesn't have a place to sit. The price is similar as well as the amount and the fineness of the ice as the other 3 places. Definitely the best in mid Oahu. We stay near Kapolei so we will definitely be back.“
