We were looking for some late evening food away from the main downtown area and decided to give this place a try. We ordered spam musubi, chicken wings, a BBQ mixed plate and a bento plate. Portions were great, the mac salad was the best we had tried all week, musubi was big and the meat and fish was flavorful. We were a bit disappointed with this place as it was highly rated. We got the short ribs and garlic shrimp combo. The shrimp were pretty good but the ribs were much more fatty than they usual and there was not a whole lot of meat on it. We also got the fried chicken and crispy rice combo. There was very little chicken compared to how many noddles we received. The noodles were also just ok and a little bland. We were visiting Kona Hawaii and wanted lunch. Yelp showed several nearby places that weren't open until 11. It was a little before 11 and this place was open/served breakfast. Since we love breakfast anytime of day, we chose here. Simple, local Hawaii style restaurant. Chinese staff and they serve Chinese food, local plate lunches and breakfasts, and cater.
