“If you came here for food, you are in the wrong place. This is a coffee lovers stop, you can have any of their beans in drip, this is a spot to simply enjoy your coffee. I had the pleasure to sip on the Ka'u roast, it has a wonderful flavor and they serve it to you in a pot with small cup which made me appreciate the flavors even more.“
“This is a coffee shop like no other. The owners take incredible pride in brewing the best coffee ever, anywhere. It's 100% Hawai'an coffee, which coffee lovers know is extremely expensive, grown on the mineral-rich volcanic soil, with an incredibly intense flavour and aroma. If you go to Honolulu on a cruise ship (like me), Downtown Coffee is really close to the dock and you must must have a coffee there! Oh yes, the coconut chocolate macaroons are great also!“
“Stopped by Koko Crater when I was visiting Hawaii and looking for some coffee beans to take back home with me. The store was closed but the owners wife was nice enough to let me in and talk to me for a bit as she put her other work to the side. I bought a few bags of coffee that were roasted only a few days prior and I've been brewing them ever since. The 100% Maui coffee is one of the most delicious cups I've ever tasted and their other blends are all also exceptional. I couldn't recommend any other coffee roaster over this one!“
“One of my favorite spots to hit when I'm in Oahu! The drinks are always so good and I make a point to try a different one each time I visit. The service is always quick and they have always been very nice. If you love coffee and want to try some unique drinks, give this place a try!!“
“If you want to drink really delicious coffee in Hawaii, I recommend this shop. The owner started this business because he loves coffee, so you can enjoy carefully selected craft coffee. The cold brew is an original blend, and it was the best I've had in Hawaii☝️The special pastrami sandwich is also fragrant and delicious. We also recommend the flight coffee sampler where you can try four different flavors. We also have locations in Ward Village, Downtown, and Waikiki.“
“Cute cafe with nice assortment of food/beverages, and their screen-printer for latte's is awesome!!Been twice so far, first time the printer was broken (really wanted to try a drink with one since I hadn't yet), but I got the iced strawberry matcha and it did not disappoint. Usually the strawberry flavor isn't present enough in these types of drinks, but I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and well-flavored it was.The second time I went, their machine was working, and I wasn't really sure what to get printed on it so I asked the barista if she could give me something cute with flowers. She did not disappoint! I also got a veggie burrito and sat outside to do work since their inside seating was unavailable at the time. Hoping the space clears up so I can sit inside in the future :)“
“Lion Coffee's factory tour will start from January 2024❣️The timing of my trip was perfect, so I made a reservation in advance. It's $10 per person. As for my impressions of the factory tour, I was very satisfied with the fun and satisfying experience of the coffee-related "huh" moments. ❣️?Of course, there was also a tasting of Lion Coffee! It was really good. It's a cafe, so there are lots of delicious drinks. It's good to take it slow.By the way, the caramel latte frappuccino was extremely delicious. There are repeats.“
“I really enjoy this place for coffee and sandwiches! My friend got the pastrami sandwich (pictured below) and the maple latte. I got the tuna melt (which I ate before I took a pic of) and the sweet & creamy. The sandwiches were really good with the side of chips and would recommend to anyone looking for not so heavy lunch. The coffee definitely hits the spot when needing that afternoon pick me up. I do like my coffee sweet (yes I'm a can I have some coffee with that sugar please) so I wish it was a bit sweeter but if you love that coffee taste (as do everyone) then would recommend!“
“Ali’i Coffee is probably the second best coffee we had on the island. For being a small outfit on the first floor of a hotel, the offerings are vast and unique and the turn around is rather quick. The Taro Ube latte was the first thing I tried. Never having ube before I wasn’t sure what to expect. The bright purple coloring is a bit jarring but the taste is amazing. Their breakfast sandwiches are big and come with kettle chips but at $18 each, they are a little pricey for what they are. Would recommend for coffee if you are looking for coffee you can only find on the island.“
“Such a cute coffee shop with great coffee and friendly baristas! We got an iced vanilla latte w/ oat milk and an iced brown sugar latte. Both lattes were refreshing and tasted wonderful! We also got the chocolate chip cookie and it was fantastic! Soft, chewy, and rich with a hint of sea salt made for the best cookie to eat with our drinks. Additionally, the views of the mountains while sitting on the patio with your coffee is to die for!“
