La Tour Cafe Reviews
I was at Best Buy for a while before learning I'd be waiting for techs to personalize my purchase which could've taken up to 4.5 for them to get to. Supervisor Alondra suggested I go to a Saimen place, La Tour & another place. I walked over and into La tour. The menu looked great! I saw a roast beef dip sandwich I may have chosen but when I saw a "Falafel" sandwich I was very intrigued as I never saw this on any menu at a casual restaurant in Waikiki area. OMG...that sandwich...read full review
This place could be really cute if the seating area and and entrance was more bistroish. The food is good albeit a tiny bit over priced. I paid 24 dollars for a sandwich, iced coffee and two kouign amann . The pastries are the highlight of the place but they are tucked away and hidden behind cases that don’t showcase them. La Tour Cafe offers a nice selection of fresh food and great bakery items, including delicious Macarons. The Pho-ggie sandwich is a standout, with amazing flavors reminiscent of a bowl of Pho in a sandwich. The portions are fairly big and reasonably priced. The seating area is shaded and pleasant, although some find the chairs uncomfortable. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Customers can also buy fresh bread at lower prices than supermarkets, which is a nice perk. The atmosphere is laid-back, modern, and clean, making it a good place to relax, meet up, or enjoy a meal. The food quality and overall experience are reliable and satisfying, consistent with other locations. However, some visitors have been disappointed by the macaron selection, noting that their favorite flavors were unavailable that day. Despite this, the menu offers flavors that hit the mark in taste, portion size, and price—especially appreciated in Hawaii. The restaurant does not accept cash, but the friendly service and good food make it a popular spot for a tasty snack or meal.
