“Yooo! The 3 combo plate and the kalua pig plate w/ adobo fried rice ? amazing. My husband got fried chicken, lechon and kalua pig. All amazing and huge portions so we shared the entire meal and ordered the dessert, which they were kind enough to keep until we finished our meal. The ube ice cream was delicious and the glaze and crumbles were perfect fit. Big enough for 4 ppl but we finished on our own (mostly me). We didn't try the lemonades but i definitely thought about it.”

We just got in from a 10 hr flight and my kids were VERY cranky, so the ladies brought a couple markers and stickers. Great Thai tea and summer rolls. My husband said the heat (regular hot) on the table pad Thai was great.Dietary restrictions: We don’t eat pork and very pleasantly surprised to find that they don’t add pork to their summer rolls. Shrimp only! So happy about this, and they were very good and fresh.”

They were teaching audience members how to use different musical instruments & my family loved this. Then we had such food samples such as poke& salmon and drinks as a starter before the main buffet. The buffet was awesome! I especially loved the pork, veggies and fish. But everything was really good. Finally the show was awesome! The dancers were great showcasing different cultural dancers. I'd highly recommend this show!! Also I purchased a Groupon that allowed me to pay for an even better price. I really enjoyed this luau.”
“Roy's is always a family favorite! They treated out kids (4 & 5) like royalty. As soon as we sat down, they put food in front of them, without even ordering. The kids meals were a great value and came with an appetizer, entrée and desert. Our only regret was only eating here once. Our oldest asked every night if we could go back to Roy's because he loved it so much.Yes, it is on the more expensive side, but in this case, you get what you pay for! Top notch service. Great good and drink. Amazing attention to detail when it comes to kids.Kid-friendliness: As soon as we sat down, the waiter brought out the kids a quesadilla and some fruit as their appetizer, without even ordering. I've never experienced a restaurant that just brings kids food to keep the quiet. Roy's has it down! Other restaurants should take note.”
“I’ve been around the world eating great Korean food but there is nothing like Gina’s. From the moment you walk in you can tell everyone from the young gentleman working the cash register to the cook in the back or the owner the circles around you can tell each person is happy you stopped and ate at Gina’s, you can also taste it in their cooking. They make each meal like it’s in its own league, no mass cooking and heating older food I always have hot fresh cooked food when I come here and it’s amazing. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone that loves Korean or island food. You won’t be disappointed. Stop by here at least once a week and will continue to do so due to the great quality and customer service!Kid-friendliness: Amazing with kids!!!”

“If you haven't had their mai-tai, you're missing one delicious experience. The passion fruit whip on top made every other mai tai I've had seem boring in comparison. Served in simple form, without a lot of fruit and decoration but exploding with flavor, $18 seems like a lot until you taste it.You can ride the cute Hawaiian Railway Society train up the coast, and when it stops for 'ice cream, go to Monkeypod instead.”
“What a beautiful experience. This was my first luau and it did not disappoint. The chief was funny, entertaining, and a great entertainer. The dancing was so beautiful, I highly recommend.”
“The food was good, and with how busy it was, the service was nice and pretty quick. Not a lot of seating, felt a bit crowded but would recommend. Prices didn't seem bad for what you were getting as well. The big parking lot was also a great convenience.”

“This restaurant was truly such an amazing place. The staff were incredibly kind and really just so helpful. It was my family and my first time here but we will be returning 100%.The food was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had anything like it in my life. I got the beef pho broth and beef brisket. It was life changing. I got some of the garlic butter they have and it was so so yummy. We had dessert after and it was also very delicious. We had the shave ice with boba. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone in the area.”

“These are seriously some fantastic cookies. It’s definitely an indulgence since they are almost $5 each, but for a treat once in a while it’s totally worth it. They rotate the flavors often, so you can get a new experience almost every time you go in. The cookies are served warm, so prime eating time is immediately after ordering. They are also good the next day. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth going, if only just once.”

“Amazing Poke! We got the tako poke bowl and the spicy ahi poke bowl and it was hands down the best poke I’ve ever had! The garlic rice/dirty rice is phenomenal!!!!! The bagoong fried rice is also incredible! Topped it all off with an Ube cheesecake. Everything was delicious. I’m only in Hawaii for a few weeks but I will be back! The staff was super nice and friendly too! Great service! They even offer a military discount.”

“We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. You pay at the counter, take a number, then they bring your food to your table. We tried the fish tacos, French dip and clam chowder (soup of the day). Everything was tasty, just a bit on the salty side even for me (I love salt). I would definitely get the French dip again (it had a delicious garlic flavor). The clam chowder was also very fresh, and lighter (less creamy) than most chowders.”

“I had my daughter’s 5th birthday party here. She had a blast! Customer service is terrific. I couldn’t have made the party any easier. All I had to do was bring her cake, candles, and goody bags for her friends that showed up. They sing, let her in the ticket booth, and they even cut the cake and hand them out for you too! Servers are attentive, friendly, and quick.They recently changed over from paper tickets (win from games and machines) to electronic tickets that automatically get “uploaded” to your card. The idea is great but I’m pretty sure I was shorted over 1000 tickets. I know I won over 1000 tickets on one game but when I went to cash out with my daughter they said we only had about 500 tickets. At the end of the day it’s not that big of a deal to me but my daughter was definitely disappointed. I just they work out the kinks with their new system.”

We ordered the Thai Broth (medium) and the Miso Broth along with the ribeye and pork belly for our proteins. Then we went over to the refrigerated cases to pick out all our other veggies and add ins. We finished off everything! It was so good and hit the spot for our cravings. We enjoyed it so much the girls wanted to eat there a second time before leaving the island! Definitely a must go to when on Oahu!”

“The hostess was very accommodating and patient while we waited for our entire party to arrive. The cook was not as entertaining and interactive with us as those we've had in the past. We requested our ribeye to be medium rare. What we got was closer to a very medium, so more hard and dry. Comparing this ribeye to a recent lunch we had a week or two ago that was cooked to perfection and a melt in your mouth quality. The meat that we received tonight seemed to be of a lesser quality and overcooked. The lobster tails were very fishy tasting, small and didn't look appetizing. The noodles should be eliminated from the set items. 2 of 5 in our party had a sore stomach after arriving at home. The waitress was attentive making sure our needs were met with refills, etc. It will be a long while before our next visit. Tonight was disappointing.Parking: Lots of parking close to restaurant.”

We had a few young waiters that hustled to take our order and bring our food out in a timely manner. Unfortunately, one of our teammates did not receive her food. The Manager was called over to our table, and he was very quick to make things right. We loved the customer service, and apologize for some people in our party was not happy. Majority of us, loved it and was entertained with LIVE music by a great local band. Great job, we'll be back!”

We came on a Saturday after noon a little after lunch around 230pm and it was empty...just how I like it lol the workers were nice to greet us and the place was really clean. The place was pretty spacious I must say. Our server took out orders and always filled our waters. You cannot beat ordering the combo meal. I got the mini ramen with black garlic which was additional. My sides were takoyaki and mini curry. I must say, the mini curry wasn't mini it was pretty regular size looking lol I couldn't finish most of it so we took it home and had it for dinner. Everything tasted great! I did however take down a star because we ordered gyoza but the server did not mention anything about getting free gyoza during their happy hour until we paid and got in our car and seen the window display. Our fault also we should've looked prior.”

“I have ordered two dozen cupcakes twice from Cupcake and Things Bakery for birthday parties and have been impressed both times. The cupcakes are moist, the frosting is light and fluffy, tastes homemade and perfectly sweet without being overpowering. The decorations are hands down adorable and their flavors are fantastic. I told my husband last night they are probably the best cupcakes I have ever ordered. The kids love them and parents always ask where we purchase them. They are a bit on the pricier side but I'm okay with that since they taste so great, and the service has been exceptional both times. My only con is the cupcake packaging is really flimsy and I have damaged a couple in transport but thankfully kids don't typically notice.”

The service is friendly but can take a while since they usually only have one person taking orders. That's probably normal service for Hawaii, gotta relax and enjoy your time in paradise. The ambiance is average and seemed very welcoming to out of towners.”
“We got to order breakfast at work wherever we wanted so my coworkers raved about going here. We ordered to go and I'm surprised that everything still was so so good when we got it. I ordered the BEAST Benedict (Bacon, Egg, Avo, Spinach, Tomato), it comes on a sourdough bread vs an English muffin and was SOOO good. Plus the truffle potatoes *mouth watering* My coworker got the chicken fried steak and said the gravy may be the best she's ever tasted. My other coworker got the LOX bagel which is her regular order. We also ordered the flight pancakes which I was really excited for but wasn't the best .. I'm thinking it was bc everything was packaged and I had to assemble it all myself. Overall, I'd go back since there are so really interesting menu items that look amazing :)”
“We frequent Kamas weekly but have never stopped at this shop, assuming it was soft serve with cereal toppings. Needing a cold treat, we decided to check things out and were pleasantly surprised at what Milky Cereal Bar actually is! We opted for the premade recipes and watched as the knowledgeable and sweet counter help pulled them together by COMBINING the soft serve and ingredients (mine was fresh strawberries and blueberries with captain crunch) into a whole new soft serve in a very impressive "blender" of sorts. Then this new and fruity soft serve was topped with fruity pebbles and lilikoi syrup. So incredibly yummy! And reasonable, given what prices are these days. Now that we understand what Milky's offers, we will be back to try some of our own creations.”

The Kung Pao chicken and Angus Pepper Sreak are great choices for healthy eating. Sometimes I'll mix it up with broccoli beef. Service is good, rarely very busy.”

“This is a very common restaurant for Filipinos and we know why. The spicy chicken sandwich is tame in terms of spice. You can't go wrong with that one if you like just a little spicy. The fried chicken though is where it is at. The spicy fried chicken is the spiciest fried chicken we've had at any chicken place and we love it. Every bite has legit spice to it. Spaghetti and mashed potatoes are fairly generic, but still good. The spaghetti is on the sweeter side though if you haven't had sweet spaghetti and of course, has hot dogs in it. The pineapple drink was delicious and well worth the extra for an upcharge. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. It's surprising it has such low ratings given how wonderful our experience was. The prices were comparable to other fried chicken joints too. I'd go back!”

“Swung by on a weekend morning and grabbed 3 dozen donuts for the guys at work. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Right when the place opened there was a line at both the door and drive thru. The definitely need more help at this location.Donuts were just okay but the staff was great.”

We requested our ribeye to be medium rare. What we got was closer to a very medium, so more hard and dry. Comparing this ribeye to a recent lunch we had a week or two ago that was cooked to perfection and a melt in your mouth quality. The meat that we received tonight seemed to be of a lesser quality and overcooked. The lobster tails were very fishy tasting, small and didn't look appetizing. The noodles should be eliminated from the set items. 2 of 5 in our party had a sore stomach after arriving at home. The waitress was attentive making sure our needs were met with refills, etc. It will be a long while before our next visit. Tonight was disappointing.Parking: Lots of parking close to restaurant.”

“We were at Wet n Wild to see San Holo and it was a great set. But the best part of the night was finding this gem of a bar and grill. There was one person working the bar, taking orders, and running food plus one person cook in the back. The hustle these two people had was amazing. We got our food and drinks in a timely manner and everything was delicious! We got the smoked meat, the deep fried chicken, the fried noodles and edamame. Broke da mouth! Dang, we were having a good time. Plus, homegirl at the bar had a smile for us even though she was crazy busy. Best spicy pork I have eaten in my life! Pork was still juicy and lots of spices. The pork was definitely marinated in the spices prior to cooking versus some places where they cook the pork and then add the spices after. The meat Jun was juicy and tasty as well. I had a special of the day, stuffed salmon ($20), husband had their chopped ribeye steak & garlic chix combo ($22) Both came w/a toss salad & rice. The steak was stir fried & had red peppers & onions in the mix . The meat was very tender. My salmon was stuffed with/the fake crab in a creamy binding w/a topping of furikake Be sure to check out their instagram page for updates, locations, & menu. Luckily I had texted them when we arrived & found out that they would be closed for a few days for a private event. Whew!! They were gonna be open the day before we head back home! “This was a recommendation from our hotel and we came back two more times. It is a pleasant quiet neighborhood. We ate inside twice and outside once which I we preferred. My wife enjoyed the “Westside Burger” which she enjoyed. On other nights she had the excellent fish and chips and a very good pasta dish. I had some rather disappointing fish tacos but the next two nights I really enjoyed the “Bouillabaisse “! Our servers were excellent. The only disappointment was our passing up the great Bakery items on display.”

Not knowing what to order, we all just took a chance.What did we think?Well, the really funny thing is whatever we ordered that first time has been the same exact thing we have ordered ever since.Isn't that just so amazing? Hahaha :DOne of us likes to order the calamari with three multigrain musubis and the rest of us usually order the butterfish with multigrain rice. The butterfish is so delectable!! Sometimes my work friend orders the chicken bento.What makes these bentos fun to eat for me is not just the flavor and taste but bc of the added yummy tsukemono and food items. For instance, we get a piece of fried chicken, tamago egg (tamagoyaki aka Japanese egg omelette), variety of tsukemono that come with our butterfish bento. And most importantly, all taste really great!If you want a substantial meal with a variety of tastes and you happen to be in the older Kapolei area (by the Kapolei Zippy's and Consolidated Theaters down the long street from Costco Kapolei), this is a great place for a satisfying meal. The workers are friendly and helpful, choices of treats is pretty wide also.Hours are 10am to 7pm all days except Sunday when it is 10-5. On site they have Dippin Dots, pineapple & other Dole Whip flavors, shave ice, Hawaiian Frost, flavored drinks, popcorn, cupcakes, sodas and a daily lunch snack menu. Menu has photos which helps when choosing items. Lastly, they have non-dairy stuff for people looking for tasty snacks without dairy.There is also a rewards program that is easy to use. Four seats indoor and a couple benches outdoors are available. Highly recommend dropping in and giving this place a try. “My fiancé and I have been going here for 5+ years now and the food as well as the service are always on par. They are located in the shopping center across from Home Depot in Kapolei near Starbucks and the Navy Feral Credit Union (first floor). The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The owners are hands on and always involved no matter how slow/busy it is. Whether its checking in on customers to make sure their orders are correct or just for a quick chat, they're always building great relationships with their customers. Due to covid, they stopped the conveyer belt, so the orders are now all hand delivered by the staff. I enjoy watching the chefs prepare the plates near by. They are always organized and their sections are very clean. Knowing this makes me enjoy eating here even more. My go-to's are the spicy tuna crunch, king kong, king kong jr, & Ron's choice to name a few.”

“We were so impressed with the service with this location! We had a reservation at 5, we were seated immediately & our server Chanon was taking our order within literally 2 minutes. I don’t think I’ve ever had a server as attentive and prompt as he was tonight. My husband said he felt like he was reading his mind the whole time because he literally didn’t have to ask for a single thing, he was just there with what we needed. “We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. You pay at the counter, take a number, then they bring your food to your table. We tried the fish tacos, French dip and clam chowder (soup of the day). Everything was tasty, just a bit on the salty side even for me (I love salt). I would definitely get the French dip again (it had a delicious garlic flavor). The clam chowder was also very fresh, and lighter (less creamy) than most chowders.”

“The sitting was fairly nice but the mall is very busy. We were able to come in before the Sunday lunch rush. I cannot eat dairy so going to a pizza kitchen is a little bit weird, but the servers were able to work with me to make sure that the dishes I did order didn't have any cheese in them. Plus the truffle potatoes *mouth watering* My coworker got the chicken fried steak and said the gravy may be the best she's ever tasted. My other coworker got the LOX bagel which is her regular order. We also ordered the flight pancakes which I was really excited for but wasn't the best .. It was my family and my first time here but we will be returning 100%.The food was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had anything like it in my life. I got the beef pho broth and beef brisket. It was life changing. I got some of the garlic butter they have and it was so so yummy. We had dessert after and it was also very delicious. We had the shave ice with boba.
