“I was craving boba, and my usual spot is currently closed. I loved my midnight tea boba...milk tea with creme brulee cheese foam. So yummy!! Review is for our boba. Customer service was okay I guess, but didn't expect much from previous reviews. I may just order online for pick up from now on. Yum!“

“Fooki is an amazing spot as a solo diner, date night spot, or with a group of friends you want to catch up with. I ordered the Seafood Laksa, which was very flavorful and if you end up saving the leftover curry coconut creamy broth, would be ideal for layering on top of any appetizer. The Shrimp Paste Noodle Soup could've been improved upon as the broth wasn't too memorable, however the hand made shrimp paste was fairly unique. If you have a group bigger than two, would recommend making reservations to play it safe!“

“We Were looking for something different and of course had to buss out yelp to look for a different dessert place and we found it. Located in the same shopping center as foodland in Mililani...actually right next to foodland. A very small restaurant with maybe a dozen seats or less with a korean icecream trinket vibe....Ok I just made that up just look at the pics...:) The menu has alot of differrent selections.....Bingsu being their special offering. (Soft fluffy flavored ice nothing like shaved ice) smoothies cold tea drinks and a tyoe of fruity korean waffles. The owner was the only worker and he was pretty cool and patient...of course we was the only one there (prob bc it was like 7 and it was raining) Definetely someplace to try. It was definetely different..prices wasnt cheap but now nothing is...Anyways it was a cool experienxe and we will be back.“

“I had very high hopes for this place.A few weeks ago, I stopped by for the first time and got beef curry and gyoza to go. It was spectacular! Decided to go for the ramen next visit. And I did.I wanted to get the thickest, most robust flavored soup, so I got the "Special" tonkotsu black garlic ramen.I really liked the visual presentation. Very vibrant, neat and appetizing. As with most ramen takeouts, the soup and noodles were packaged in separate containers. Before pouring the soup into the ramen bowl, I took a little sip.It was a tad disappointing, as I had such high hopes for this shop. The soup was a bit on the bland side. I guess the fried garlic chips are supposed to carry the flavor but there's nothing else. What I did notice was a slight slimy texture and a hint of odor. This probably indicates that inferior pork bones were used to draw the soup stock. For those of you who don't know how tonkotsu soup is made, ignorance is bliss. If you knew exactly what's in it, you may be traumatized! So, I'll spare you the details. What I will say is that hours of boiling the pork bones is needed to extract the umami, but other ingredients are crucial too. Grated ginger, garlic cloves, salt and pepper are some of the common items that are used. Despite the shortcomings of the tonkotsu soup, I have high hopes that Rakumen could be a top contender in the ramen world if they tweaked their soup just a little bit. Use better quality pork bones would be one. Adding a bit more flavor would be the other. *I had some leftover soup, so I added a little grated ginger and garlic with a few drops of la-yu to it and already, it was about as good as the other ramen shops in town. I give them 4 stars despite the seemingly harsh critique of their tonkotsu, because of their prompt and courteous service. But most of all, I believe that they will only get better.Looking forward to visiting again to up them to 5 stars!“

“We were greeted by two lovely young ladies. We ordered "2" Macha Frappuccino with coconut milk and ube cake. The Macha frap tasted like the Japanese Macha ice cream from Tanaka of Tokyo or from Dave's Ice Cream. The Ube cake was soft and not overpowering in sweetness it was just right. We were greeted as we exited and we enjoyed our refreshing drinks and soft ube cake“

“I really wanted to stop here because the ad showed souffle pancakes with oreos that looked soooo good! So I got the souffle pancakes, which took about 25 minutes. They were a little eggy not sweet. But the chocolate topping was very tasty. We also got a strawberry smoothie which was pretty good and my daughter chose the oreo smoothie. She chugged it down.“

“After hearing Thang's closing at this location, I was excited that another cafe took over and had the same concept as Thang's. Located across the gas station, you can easily find parking in the back by Aiea Manapua or the lot further back. Menu consists the same drinks such as fresh fruit smoothies, Vietnamese coffee, and more. They have tapioca pearls as well. We decided to get a pineapple and watermelon smoothie as those are our favorite. The prices range from $6-$8 depending on what flavor or combos you get. I was a bit disappointed by the smoothies because they added in coconut milk or some type of milk versus Thang's didn't add milk. It was really milky. No complaints but just a food for thought. It wasn't bad but just wasn't what I thought it was going to be like since the menu and concept was the same. Overall it's just okay. Def would try their iced Vietnamese coffee though because that looked amazing!“

“100% our place to go for their signature Ube Lattes! We are so obsessed. Creamy, delicious, addicting. We get ours with brown sugar boba and regular sweetness. Even when I order mine with oat milk...it's still so velvety! Great service and cute little atmosphere. Enjoy everyone!“

“Was craving some bubble tea while on vacation and found this local spot via Google reviews. We had to go up a tight ramp to find parking on the second floor, then take the elevator down to this shop which is at ground floor. We tried a milk tea and a classic winter melon tea. We found the tapioca here to be the perfect texture. They also sell little stickers but only accept cash or Venmo for those. When the lady working here found out that I was Taiwanese but didn’t have cash/Venmo, she graciously decided to gift me one anyway! So glad to have found this cute and welcoming shop!“

“Cute little bubble tea cafe hidden in Waipahu. I love to go to Savers and grab myself a bubble drink afterwards. There is a good amount of seating available. There is only one guy working behind the counter, which can cause a lag in service if busy. The tea with cheese foam was yummy and not overly sweet or cheesy when mixed well. A lot of boba cafes have a heavy hand on the sugar, so I LOVE to find a bubble tea where you can taste the TEA.“

“I still love it here. Quality is still amazing and it's so deadly that I work near this area now because all my money goes here. As always, I get my super jumbo wintermelon milk tea. No changes here, no shortcuts, still amazing. I think this is the only place so far that I know of where the boba is still pretty soft and chewy the next day. Ideally I would like to finish my drinks in one day, but if need be, and I guess a good to know for y'all out there if you were wondering. Recently, I tried their version of the Tiger milk tea. I'm not too sure if it was on their menu, but I asked for it and they had it. I like it, not as much as my wintermelon but still good. If you like that immense flavor of brown sugar, you'll love it. A good to know: you can call ahead if you need to. They accept card only if you spend over $10. No seating area due to covid. They have some snacks too if you want a quick and easy bite. I've been going here for years and it's still wonderful. Highly recommend for the quality and will continue to do so.“
“L’AMI Bakery & Cafe, located inside H mart is a Good Bakery. Some of the baked goods were not put out yet and things were trickling in so I bought a selection of what was already available . I personally had the Chocolate Shell Bread. It’s much smaller than most bakeries and the bread wasn’t as soft, but the chocolate filling was generous and had a nice velvety strong chocolate taste. Very yummy. I’m not much of a cookie person but I thought the Red Velvet Cookie was very good and went well with my tea! My mom really enjoyed the Spinach and Feta Danish a lot and said it’s something she would eat again. She also enjoyed the Castella Lovely Bear & Red Bean Bun. My Sister had the Rose Lychee Ade. She said it was too sweet for her tastes but she liked the Soboro Custard Cream Bread. My nephew liked the Garlic Cheese Croissant and Castella Banana. The place was clean and seating was available to enjoy the more cold items to eat right away so I will take advantage of that when I come again to taste the fresh cream and strawberry pastries ? Mahalo for reading and hope you find something yummy to enjoy if you decide to come check it out.“

“I was craving boba on my shopping trip so I decided to stop by. The cereal milk tea caught my eye and I knew I had to try it. The boba was sweet and chewy, the milk tea tasted like fruity pebbles, and it was really creamy. The women working were very friendly and my order didn't take long at all! It's just a small food truck, so they were out of some things but overall, really well and the price is average.“
“Sama Sama is amazing! I love what they are doing with unique Filipino-inspired flavors, collaborating with local artists to design cups, etc. You can tell that they use real ube, calamansi, and other actual ingredients instead of just artificial flavoring. Service is excellent too. There's no other boba/tea place on the island that does what they do! I enjoyed their drinks so much, I even hired them to cater our wedding. We had 4 flavors at a serviced bar, and it was an absolute hit. I plan to visit more often in the future and try out their coffee beverages. They also come out with new flavors every so often.“
“Swung by after a long day and work and was craving some boba. You have to spend $10 or more to use card so I ended up getting a jumbo milk tea and a caramel cheesecake/cake. The cake was really delicious, pretty sweet, but tasted fresh. The boba was good and it hit the spot. This place is kind of tucked away and I only saw one gentleman working but he was very fast and friendly.“

“Picking up an Instagram prize in Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii...I'm sure I've been to this Teapresso Bar location in the past. I remember that Instagram-worthy wall mural and the #sakuraSwing! However, my sister and my niece aren't familiar with these things and this place. They agreed to come with me and help me consume the FOUR Brownie Lattes (made with Kilani Bakery brownies) AND a pack of the famous brownies! Yeah! This is such a generous prize!I parked in the free shared lot and told the gal (Rose) at the counter that I was one of the Instagram winners. I asked if one of the lattes could be made with Oat Milk. Yes! Can do!We took a lot of photos, and the owner's wife took our group photo, too! LOL! My family is camera shy... The Brownie Latte is delicious! It was created from the old Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercial... when the guy and the gal bump into each other while one was eating a chocolate bar and the other was eating from an open jar of peanut butter. If you look at Teapresso Bar's Instagram post, a guy and a gal bump into each other while one is eating a vanilla Latte from Teapresso Bar Wahiawa and the other is eating a brownie from Kilani Bakery. LOL! Very clever collaboration!Thank you, Teapresso Bar Wahiawa, for your generosity - not only towards me and the other two winners - but also to the community. I watched Instagram videos of graffiti clean-up; distribution of drinks to the fire fighters, police officers, and other community members; participation in community events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and community involvement with organizations such as the local Rotary Club! Kudos to you!Your business is truly amazing because of the way you train your young workers and the way you treat others! You give the next generation an opportunity to learn excellent customer service skills and also provide patrons with exciting new drink menu items like Pumpkin Haupia Latte and the Immuni-tea series! Thanks for hanging in there during "the pandemic", "rude" customers, and even enduring a car crashing through the wall of the neighboring business! You've survived so much and still maintain a positive Aloha Spirit!Best wishes for continued success and happiness! We will be back!“
