In the center of Waialua, on the site of a former sugar factory, there is a surf shop, a surfboard factory (PYZEL!), a soap factory, and Island X Hawaii at the far end.First of all, you can buy pure Oahu Waialua coffee beans here. Even on Oahu, Kona and Kauai coffee are the main ones.It's hard to buy pure Oahu beans, but here you can buy pure Oahu coffee. Love this shop for souvenirs and trinkets. They also have a shave ice stand with lots of options to chose from. You can do a chocolate tour, call in advance. They have samples of local coffee and chocolate samples. Located at the old sugar mill. Check in and get a free sticker. I enjoy visiting when in the waialua so much goodies and treasures to find here.

This is one of those authentic local joints that can be hard to find amidst all the touristy joints. Bill and Reba Martin are extremely welcoming and the dark roast natural process coffee was some the best I have tasted in my long life. Robust, but not at all bitter, and more pleasant than Sumatran.
