This is a really solid Asian fusion spot! I’ve tried some pretty weird “Asian fusion” restaurants before, but this one is actually very well-balanced and flavorful. The dishes lean a little on the sweeter. The butterfish especially reminded me of Japanese grilled eel，rich, tender, and slightly sweet.
We visited Roy’s Waikoloa for the first time for Happy Hour today. The dynamite shrimp was tasty though the ribs had barely any meat on the bone, thus not worth the price. The service was top notch and will be one of the main reasons why we will return!
Every meal was delicious! Good size portions and great service! The meat load and ribs amazing! It's definitely a must if your are staying on the Big Island!
