“We have been regulars here for about three years. Love the friendly, laid-back atmosphere, the fantastic lattes and of course the avocado toast - but most of all the music. This place is musician-friendly and audience-friendly and everyone has a great time. Highly recommended.“
“A lovely little fruit stand on the side of the road to Iao Valley. They have wonderful fresh fruit options as well as warm, moist banana bread if you get here early enough. The lady working there was so friendly and kind! We grabbed some bananas as well as a loaf of banana bread. Nothing beats fresh fruit, and the bananas were no exception. And the banana bread! Baked that morning, she pulled it straight from a warmer so it was still hot and fresh when we broke it open. So incredibly tasty! They don't take cards, but if you don't have cash, she did take venmo! Which is always a lovely bonus. Definitely worth a stop. Enjoy!“
“We have been stopping in at Sam Sato every visit to Maui since 2007; we enjoy every bit of each visit. The staff are friendly, the food is consistently good - we only ever order the dry noodles which are delicious, especially with the small bowl of broth, the beef sticks and the yakitori chicken. It is comfort food at it's best. The restaurant hasn't changed at all, and I'm ok with that, it adds to the ambiance of this local restaurant. Staff in February 2024 are so nice! The two ladies who serve tables work hard and are very friendly.“
“Love their mini cream horns, strawberry florentine cups, bread pudding, crab and chicken salads and pies. Used to like their pasta salad, but I bought one not too long ago and it tasted sour. Possibly because it was the container on the top in a different (new) refrigeration display which is open. I had the crab cake sandwich recently with both the croissant and the grain bread. With the croissant, the sandwich was delicious. With the grain bread, it wasn’t good. The grain bread had a good flavor, but very dry and stale. Overall the food is decent, but quite pricey so not a place we go often.“
“Juicy burger & flavorful fries. Just what I was looking for today. Combo was reasonably priced ($15) and portion size was good. Burger was ono. Pretty quick at getting food out and super friendly and grateful staff. Gotta come back and support this local business soon“
“Small bakery shop. No space to seat.Don't judge it based on the outside. The cream filled malassadas were amazing ! The dough had a great texture. The cream was freshly pipped in the malassadas and sooooo good! Amazing vanilla flavor, highly recommend!“
“What a great bakery to stumble into! We drove the north island loop from Kaanapali clockwise and decided to try this gem out. So so so happy we did!Delicious malassadas and my teen daughter said of her chocolate donut, “this is the best donut I’ve ever had!”We ended up grabbing a loaf of sliced Hawaiian bread and French bread. Confident they will be excellent! ?“
“We purchased Lori's products at the Farmers Market in Maui. Lori was generous with her samples and we were tempted to buy four different varieties of macaroons! We were so impressed!!! The macaroons are so fresh and flavorful! You can tell she uses the best and freshest products. Lori doesn't skimp on flavor, the lemon ones were full of lemon flavor, the caramel and turtle one were equally flavorful!!! We also bought the Mac Trail Mix. Wow! Best trail mix I have ever tasted! Everything was so fresh! i went back and bought another larger package. Lori says she buys the macadamia nuts fresh from the farmer and roasts them herself. You can really tell! Lori's products don't disappoint, they delight!!!! Lori - When you are in Oregon make sure to visit Salem Art Fair, September 13-15, 2024. I'll tell my family and friends to look for you Jo W.“
