“The service is warm and friendly, the atmosphere is exactly what a small, family-run bakery should be, and the baked goods are out of this world. My favorites are the butter rolls, pandesal, ensaymadas, and the cinnamon rolls. Words can't describe the deliciousness that each of those items contains, but the butter rolls seriously haunt my dreams with their sweet buttery bready goodness. I love their food and we always make Four Sisters our first stop when visiting Maui.”

The owner, Laura, is an absolute 5 stars, she cooks fast, everything tastes amazing, and she’s happy to explain anything on the menu if you’re not familiar with it.

The quesabirrias are a must try, they’re the reason I keep coming back so often!

Wow, wow, wow! This place blew me away! First of all, the teriyaki chicken was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had on Maui - perfectly grilled with great flavor. It was savory and slightly sweet, with the perfect balance of teriyaki that left me wanting more. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better… I tried the Nutella Explosion rolls. Talk about heaven on a plate! Soft, gooey, and perfectly spiced with a generous swirl of Nutella, they were the ultimate sweet finish. I'm coming back to try all the sweets and the BBQ burger. 😁”

We must have gotten there right before the rush because it went from just us and two other people to a wait to get in. It was fresh and actually cheaper than the place we in Flower Mound, Texas. “Do yourself a favor and skip cooking on Sunday to eat at the Lono Blue Kitchen in Wailuku. I ordered a salmon poke bowl, and it was fresh and delicious. My husband ordered tempura, and pronounced the shrimp delicious and the veggies fresh and tasty. Meals for takeout or dine at an outside table. Enjoy!”

“Greeted by friendly staff. They recommended the garlic steak and shrimp plate. I picked the Mac salad and my kids got the green salad. It was all amazing and as we sat we noticed that was the most ordered item. Seating is small, only 3 tables, most people took it to go.”

“I've tried only one thing from S&J Bakery. My workplace orders it annually come Thanksgiving time and most recently a co-worker picked one up for us to devour as an afternoon dessert.DESSERT:Pumpkin Custard PieFirst off, I'm a huge custard pie fan. Pumpkin, I'll eat but don't enjoy it as much as my eggy love. Mix the two together and you've got a damn tasty concoction. S&J's crust is the closest to my mom's homemade version, yet hers is still better ;). Flakey and moist with a surprising crunch to the exterior. The texture of the filling is my only quibble. The closest paradigm I can come up with is that it's similar to ricotta cheese; gritty and gelatinous. I'm guessing that's what happens when you combine the two fillings together. It's not repulsive but just a bit odd on the palate. That tidbit aside, the pies always have a fresh, quality ingredient-taste. Top it with some whipped cream and you'll moan with pleasure, lol. Highly recommended.OVERALL:Mmmmm... yessss... ooooh... ahhhh... yessss.... I'll have what she's having!”

“A Saigon Cafe is a hidden gem in Wailuku, offering authentic Vietnamese flavors with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The pho is rich and flavorful, the clay pot dishes are a must-try, and the green papaya salad is perfectly balanced. The owner’s humor adds to the experience, making it more than just a meal. Parking can be tight, and the decor is a bit dated, but the quality of the food and service make up for it. A great spot for locals and visitors looking for a satisfying, homey Vietnamese meal.”

“Today is 6/14/23 I went to get my usual drinks and foods, for some reason there must have been a new girl at the window taking orders. I drive up to the speaker and she say's can I take your order? I proceed to give her my order she then stops and say hold on and cuts me off. So, I asked my passenger didn't she say can I take your order? my passenger said yes. So, she comes back on for the second time and says can I take your order? And I start to order my drinks and she again say hold on with a loud voice!!!! and cuts me off again, then the third time need I remind you I was patient till the third time. She again says may I take your order? Again, I start to order she again says hold on cuts me off again. That was it when she came back forth time, I said f---k this I will order at the window and then she says I was helping other customers. I then asked her did you get any of the orders I repeated three times? She said NO! ok gave her my order. Pull up to the window supervisor asked what happen? Before I could explain he said I don't appreciate you treating my employees that way. I then said ho hold up me I am treating your employees wrong. Check yourself and ask me what happened first? I have a witness in the car who heard everything. I asked to speak to the manager and supervisor said his in a meeting. I told the supervisor I will wait. he kept saying his unavailable. Supervisor then goes and calls the manager who was very professional and took the time to listen. Manager was awesome I told him when you have a customer who comes here every morning eight years and never had a problem in all those years? whose word should you take not your employee your customers.”

“I have lived in maui for 10 years and moved since then. I remembered this place and have always been interested in taking a look. I was not disappointed after being helped by paul. He was very helpful and made a great experience to bring a piece of home back with me. Great prices and great items to choose from . I recommend to give this place a try when ever visiting. Aloha.”

“My husband and I had just finished a fantastic snorkel boat trip with the Calypso crew and were in need of a refreshing hydration treat. We decided to stop by Starbucks and try something new, the Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai, and absolutely loved it! The drink was perfectly made and hit the spot after our amazing adventure!

The store itself was very clean and well-organized, which made the experience even better. Our barista, Jarred, was incredibly friendly, and the service was efficient.

I also have to commend the cleanliness of the bathroom facilities, this location stood out compared to many Starbucks I've visited across England, Canada, and across America, where cleanliness and stock levels can be inconsistent.

“Their food is great 90% of the time. Service is friendly and quick. They give you a buzzer which lights when your order is ready. Seating is open air, nothing fancy. They have a restroom which is much appreciated. Ample parking. Unfortunately they are closed on Sundays. I love their sandwichs when the bread is fresh and the daikon and cilantro crisp!”
