“I'm a very stingy 5 star giver. I'm also not easily impressed as I have owned 2 restaurants of my own. This place impressed me. It made me smile. The friendly greeting we received immediately showed me they wanted our business. We were taught about their menu and offerings with smiles and sincerity. For our first encounter we ordered the Fish-N-Chips.The quality and portioning of the food was better than expected. The food was served hot and fresh. It was simply delicious! The prices are good. Fair I would say! You can't expect good quality to be cheap anymore. Prices of everything went up. Prices here are fair and not gouging like some tourist traps. The place was clean. Tables, chairs, floor. Even the glass in the refrigerated show cases was clean. Clean says a lot about how this place cares about its outward appearance thus it's customer's. I can honestly say we found ourselves a little Maui gem and we will frequent this place for sure!I would recommend this place to my friends and Family as a must try!So whether you live here or are just visiting Maui, give this place a try.Tell them Lawrence the Fixologist sent you! Maholo!Parking: Parking lot is behind the building. About 12 spaces. We went off hours so lot was fairly open. If you have to find parking a block away, don't stress, it's worth the walk.“
“We found this food truck as we were exploring Maui. We had the chicken tinga plate and it was fabulous! The perfect amount of seasoning. The rice served with it was also really good. We will definitely be stopping there again before we leave Maui. Plenty of outside seating with a nice breeze blowing through to make it comfortable to sit outside in the middle of the day.“
“I'd give them a 5 but they kept the dining room closed past 10am. The sign on the door says it's open from 6am to 10pm. I understand being understaffed but at least put up a note saying that the dining room will be closed so people don't wait around for nothing.I edited my score from 1 to 4. The owner reaching out to me was appreciated. Again, I understand being understaffed and even support closing down dining rooms if needed as long as a note is posted. These are strange times we live in and we will all need to adapt.“
“If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place.i moved here to Maui from the bay area and believe me this is the real deal.food seasoned to perfection;not too salty nor too bland, just perfect.a must have is the horchata; literally the best horchata I’ve had in Maui.this spot tops Fernando’s and amigos by miles.they also have a location in Kihei with more food options. 10/10“
“Amazing! We caught them in their soft open and even in the chaos that is a soft open, the experience was fantastic! Katie took care of us, and the food exceeded expectations. The new Mambo is nothing like the old Mambo and it’s a must try with a great menu. The BBLT is to die for! ❤️“
“Tight Tacos are amazing! The staff is friendly, and their tacos are possibly the best I have ever had. We tried them all, and all are great! There was a place in San Felipe, MX that might have been better, but the owners retired years ago.Parking: Very small parking lot.Street parking available.Kid-friendliness: The kids loved it here! They loved the quesadillas, and the informal atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room and order window are very wheelchair accessible. The only non-accessible area is the salsa bar. That area is too narrow to navigate by wheelchair. The staff is friendly, and happy to get whatever you want from the salsa bar.“
“Great vegan eats, now in a brick and mortar in Kihei (been a fan of their taco trucks for sometime)! Love the pulled "pork" whether as a sandwich on a freshly baked roll or on top of a plate of fries. So tasty. And if you like it spicy as I do ask about the house made ghost pepper sauce. The Thai tacos are also fantastic. And if you've room for dessert afterwards, they've an excellent crème brûlée in a little jar you can keep. Highly recommend.“
“This little Diamond in the rough was just what I needed. No one goes to Maui for Mexican food, but if you are tired of Loco Moco and Spam ain't your bag, then hit up Maui Tacos. It's a fast, casual vibe, but the food is cooked to order. I ordered the steak nachos two days in a row. The steak cost $2 more, but I thought it was worth it. You have your choice of black beans or refried as well. The menu is brightly displayed overhead on three large screens. Soft drinks are free refills. The tables have maps of Hawaii on them. So plan your next trip over tacos and tostadas. Did I mention that there's a salsa bar? Try the pickled, jalapeño vegetables and pineapple salsa, you can thank me later. My food was fresh, hot and fast. Visit for the beaches, stay for the tacos!“
“This is a great location! As of the end of May beginning we of June 2023 they have replaced the speaker box for the drive through. You can hear really clearly and they can understand you easily now. Also every night the line for the drive through has been super long, but the team is still killing it! They are doing such a fantastic job I have been so genuinely impressed. I went last night and even though the line was long it moved fairly quickly the the lady was super positive and polite! I've really liked the 50/50 popcorn chicken, it's super tasty. I also really like that Jack in the box is open the latest and they have a variety on their menu.11/10!“
