Stop the car right now. “But honey I don’t want tacos”. Don’t listen to her. She doesn’t know what good tacos are anyways. THIS is the taco place you’ve been looking for. Hit this place up thinking how bad could it be? It’s legit! I got the Kalua pork taco. AMAZING!Why haven’t you stopped the car yet?
Stopped in town before our trek up Waimea Canyon and saw Island Taco at our side. it was only 10:15am, but I ventured inside and spoke to a lady who was super friendly and talked about their fantastic Hawaiian style tacos. Figured it was worth a shot, and she described them with great detail. We were recently on the island and were looking for a place to stop for lunch. Saw the sign on the side of the road and decided to take a chance. As voted by our family of 4 it was the best place we ate on our whole trip. DO NOT miss stopping here for food!!! The lady that took our order and brought it to us was amazing! The service was fast. The food was mouth watering! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!
