This place is FRIGGIN' AWESOME!!! Been there twice now in the past 4wks. What an absolute gem combined with The Crafty Mac both located within The Ghost Kitchen on the outskirts of Ankeny-but be sure to order ahead online though (only been a quick 15min wait each time I've ordered) because there is NO walk-ins or dine-in available!!! I've lived here for 10 years. How long has this place been just down the street from me?Chicken is breaded and cooked perfectly. Fries and tots are great and large servings. Best fried chicken I've had in the Des Moines area.

Love the Ornery Chicken and the Crafty Mac. I always get the same thing. The ruffled feather bowl with extra gravy. My wife and sun mix it up. Either a basic chick or barbecue Brisket Mac and wings. We have never been disappointed. They do not off dining in which has never been an issue. Everything has always been tasty.
