“Brown Bottle is one of my daughter’s favorites to go out to for our “fancy daddy daughter dinners”. The food and atmosphere are always so incredible and inviting. Great food and drink selection and the specials are always tasty. Our server tonight (I believe was Audrey) was awesome and even my daughter commented how hard working and nice she is. Can’t recommend Brown Bottle enough for any occasion!”

“Our server helped us pick out the perfect wine which we paired with the honey and rosemary Brie cheese appetizer. The warm cheese was delicious on the crostinis and made for a wonderful pre-birthday celebration with my sister.”

“Normally our time goes well when we go to Brass Tap in Cedar Falls. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience on our most recent visit, Friday June 7th, 7:00pm. We went for dinner fully expecting it to be busy, which was fine. We sat at the bar for 10 minutes, while the lead bartender lady and trainee COMPLETELY IGNORED US. The bar was dirty, and needed wiped down. A nice waiter finally came, asked us what we wanted to drink, and gave us food menus. Unfortunately he did not return to take our orders. I did look at the menu for a while, but still come back to check on us. We are now 30 minutes into our experience, and the bartender, along with the girl she is failing to train behind the bar, still have not said a thing to us. My boyfriend asks the women if we can order, and the lead bartender walked away, didn't say a word, and left the trainee to fend for herself. It was very clear she needed help. We eventually got our food order in. The food came out fast for how many people were there. It was cooked well, and we took home what was left over. I had to ask for our silverware, napkins, refill, and check. Not once did the lead bartender talk to us. Not once did we get checked on. We asked for everything we needed. Just crazy how she could talk to everyone around us, but not us. Not a word. The trainee was super nice, but it was very clear no one was training her. We will be back, because my boyfriend loves that place. We will NOT be at the bar, and really hope the service is better next time.”

“We walked by and saw they had a special for not your average nachos! You get two beers and nachoes for $20! This is a great deal! So we stop in got two great beers, nachoes, and some lemonade for the DD.”

“we are long time patrons of Applebee's, mostly at the Cedar Falls location. the food is top notch, and the service is awesome. to night we were blessed to have Mady (manager) and Saturn as our hosts. They were busy tonight but never let our glass go dry or our food to be late. These two ladies did an awesome job and employees such as these two keep us coming back.”

“The best experience! Accommodated our request for a private dining area for the four of us after a small private wedding. It was set up so beautifully! I wish I would have asked the name of our server, she was amazing and deserved the cash tip we left. The service is the best by far in the area, and the food was delicious from our appetizers (shared plates) to our entrees. My now husband said his steak tonight was better than what we had at Hells Kitchen in Miami. Thank you again Montage, this topped off making our wedding day and dinner perfect!”

To make my visit even better I got some Filipino Street Tacos from Concept Kitchen... you must get their food because 🤯! “We arrived at 3:30 today and it was packed! Got seated in about fifteen minutes and had the best service, even with all their business. Our waitress Meghan was the sweetest, and a couple of the staff thanked us on the way out! Our food was absolutely delicious! The only complaint I have, which actually isn't, is that I ordered my steak medium-rare and it arrived medium. It was still buttery and tender! Recommend 10 out of 10!”

“Raves from a chef! We are ecstatic to have found this hidden gem just a few minutes away. The food is excellent and the naan is the best I’ve ever had. Prices were incredibly reasonable. We will be going back to try everything on the menu. I’m stuffed but already considering which dishes I will order next!”

“Top notch customer service. Older women waited on us. She was so welcoming and friendly. She offered us samples of cookie dough to try and gave us all mini chocolate chip cookies. We got a variety of cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies and the kids got scoops of cookie dough, all were amazing and loaded with flavor. Super clean cute store as well. Can't say enough good things about this place.”

“Octopus is a bit of an institution: following in the footsteps of places like Steb's and Pour Richards. Dave is a huge supporter of local and regional musical artists of all shapes and sizes. There's always a cheap beer for those with just a few bucks in their pocket; and plenty of crafts for a few bucks more. They recently expanded their space adding some food items in the process. Popcorn is always available for those with munchies. Lots of regulars for sure. Guests should feel welcome. If you don't bump into a friend...you can quickly make one at the bar. “Enjoyed my first visit to Berk's. We were there in the late afternoon and it was mostly an older crowd like ourselves. I understand that late in the evening it gets more lively with the college students. It was very pleasant, the bartender was friendly, the environment was peaceful at that time of day. The other bar patrons were friendly. They have comfortable upholstered bar stools as well as table seating. There are bags of snacks that you can buy.”

“My Husband picked Hu-Hot tonight. He’s never ate here, the food was good, and he liked the experience. But, what really stood out to us was the service! We for sure had one of the best servers in the Cedar Valley! Very personable, attentive, funny, and efficient. It was nice being thanked when you leave a tip, that typically NEVER happens anymore. We also tipped the grill guys, but they didn’t notice. Thank you, Benjamin for the great experience eating at Hu-Hot tonight!”

“This team did amazing considering how busy they were. Sitting and eating I heard a few gentlemen in line be less than kind to the staff over things they have no control of. They handled it very gracefully and were so respectful. They rocked out a long line and several online orders in the matter of 40min that I was there. As a former restaurant manager, I would be proud to call those people my team members.”

“This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks we have been to Chad's Pizza. This is the absolute best Pizza & food in the Cedar Valley area. Alex answered the phone & took our take out order. We ordered or favorites, a Chad's Special & Crab Rangoon Pizzas. I went to order the Barrel Tots as an appetizer but the we out. I also asked if we could get a gallon of lemonade he said no proble. I drove 30 minutes from Jesup Iowa to pick up or order. When I got there, Alex had the order ready. Since they were out of the Tots Appetizer, Alex sent us home with their Broasted Chicken. It was Amazing just like the pizzas. Alex as had a gallon of lemonade as well that he went down to Kwik Star & got for us! That is True customer service. Going above & beyond for us. He also let me borrow a Pizza Bag to take everything home so it stayed hot & fresh. Our hats are off to Chad's Pizza & especially Alex for the most Amazing service & the Absolute BEST food! We will go no place else ever for Pizza & Appetizers. Alex, Thanks Very Much for all you do for us & Chad's Pizza!! “First off great experience here. They always make my food in the right order and with the right sauce. I’m able to give it to them quickly and they always have it done in under a minute. I love subway if u can’t tell! All the employees smile and are polite. They offer a drink and chips. I usually just get a water cups. This is a typical meal for me after a gym session so I might be considered a regular. Idk I go maybe once every two to three weeks. I’d recommend the chicken teriyaki with Italian herb and cheese bread toasted with jalapeños and sweet union sauce. Careful tho it’s a little messy to eat! I wouldn’t recommend the cookie footlong. It’s crunchy and crummy not very good.m My sister makes better cookie than that at home.

The girl that was serving (Savanah) was not helpful to the point of being rude. Most of the time we have had good service and good food.”

The management is great and everyone is very positive here. We all have a good time working here and I have no heard anyone complain about not like working here.
