“Brown Bottle is one of my daughter’s favorites to go out to for our “fancy daddy daughter dinners”. The food and atmosphere are always so incredible and inviting. Great food and drink selection and the specials are always tasty. Our server tonight (I believe was Audrey) was awesome and even my daughter commented how hard working and nice she is. Can’t recommend Brown Bottle enough for any occasion!”

“Normally our time goes well when we go to Brass Tap in Cedar Falls. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience on our most recent visit, Friday June 7th, 7:00pm. We went for dinner fully expecting it to be busy, which was fine. We sat at the bar for 10 minutes, while the lead bartender lady and trainee COMPLETELY IGNORED US. The bar was dirty, and needed wiped down. A nice waiter finally came, asked us what we wanted to drink, and gave us food menus. Unfortunately he did not return to take our orders. I did look at the menu for a while, but still come back to check on us. We are now 30 minutes into our experience, and the bartender, along with the girl she is failing to train behind the bar, still have not said a thing to us. My boyfriend asks the women if we can order, and the lead bartender walked away, didn't say a word, and left the trainee to fend for herself. It was very clear she needed help. We eventually got our food order in. The food came out fast for how many people were there. It was cooked well, and we took home what was left over. I had to ask for our silverware, napkins, refill, and check. Not once did the lead bartender talk to us. Not once did we get checked on. We asked for everything we needed. Just crazy how she could talk to everyone around us, but not us. Not a word. The trainee was super nice, but it was very clear no one was training her. We will be back, because my boyfriend loves that place. We will NOT be at the bar, and really hope the service is better next time.”

“Stopped in while visiting from the Quad Cities and so glad I did! The beers were amazing and the bartender, Jason was a phenomenal human and server! To make my visit even better I got some Filipino Street Tacos from Concept Kitchen... you must get their food because 🤯! I will most certainly be visiting anytime I am even remotely close to the area!”

“We walked by and saw they had a special for not your average nachos! You get two beers and nachoes for $20! This is a great deal! So we stop in got two great beers, nachoes, and some lemonade for the DD.”

“The best experience! Accommodated our request for a private dining area for the four of us after a small private wedding. It was set up so beautifully! I wish I would have asked the name of our server, she was amazing and deserved the cash tip we left. The service is the best by far in the area, and the food was delicious from our appetizers (shared plates) to our entrees. My now husband said his steak tonight was better than what we had at Hells Kitchen in Miami. Thank you again Montage, this topped off making our wedding day and dinner perfect!”

The ChickenKarahi was flavor explosion that totally blew me away,mixed with light jasmine rice has me so happy that we chose Mirch Masala tonight...I wish we would have tried sooner 9/10”

“We arrived at 3:30 today and it was packed! Got seated in about fifteen minutes and had the best service, even with all their business. Our waitress Meghan was the sweetest, and a couple of the staff thanked us on the way out! Our food was absolutely delicious! The only complaint I have, which actually isn't, is that I ordered my steak medium-rare and it arrived medium. It was still buttery and tender! Recommend 10 out of 10!”

“First time here. Waitress said breakfast menu is brand new so no recommendations but said taste tests said all was good. So we tried chicken and waffles and yeti bites. One yeti bite order with sausage with a side of hash brown and one order with bacon. My daughter said the hash browns were really good and loved her yeti bites. I loved the yeti bites! No syrup needed as the waffles are sweet. Great flavors and perfectly cooked (over easy in my order). Husband said chicken and waffles were good. Staff was friendly and definitely took the time and attention to make sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. I would recommend and plan to return!”

Incredible India isn’t just about the delicious, authentic food—it’s about the heart behind it. The butter chicken was rich and tender, the naan soft and flavorful, and everything was perfectly spiced and generously portioned. But what truly sets this place apart is the couple who run it. I originally stopped by to return $6 to Sonia after realizing she’d overpaid for some marigold seeds that she purchases from me for my daughters France trip. She wasn’t there, so I gave it to her husband—who double-checked with her, only for Sonia to insist the extra was for my daughter’s trip. Then, instead of just giving me the bread I ordered, they gifted me the butter chicken and basmati rice just to make sure I’d come back. Sonia guaranteed if I tried the butter chicken that I'd be back. The warmth and generosity here is just as comforting as their food. We’re already planning our return visit with the whole family!”

There's always a cheap beer for those with just a few bucks in their pocket; and plenty of crafts for a few bucks more. They recently expanded their space adding some food items in the process. Popcorn is always available for those with munchies. Lots of regulars for sure. Guests should feel welcome. If you don't bump into a friend...you can quickly make one at the bar. “Enjoyed my first visit to Berk's. We were there in the late afternoon and it was mostly an older crowd like ourselves. I understand that late in the evening it gets more lively with the college students. It was very pleasant, the bartender was friendly, the environment was peaceful at that time of day. The other bar patrons were friendly. They have comfortable upholstered bar stools as well as table seating. There are bags of snacks that you can buy.”

Even thou most of the items on the menu are pizzas they do have a little extra for those that do not like pizza or if your gluten intolerance! My favorite has to be the street taco or Philly! I've worked in restaurant management for a long time and getting employees to understand the importance I'm thinking your guest when they leave it seems so hard to do and you can tell he does it all the time because it was effortless. “First off great experience here. They always make my food in the right order and with the right sauce. I’m able to give it to them quickly and they always have it done in under a minute. I love subway if u can’t tell! All the employees smile and are polite. They offer a drink and chips. I usually just get a water cups. This is a typical meal for me after a gym session so I might be considered a regular. Idk I go maybe once every two to three weeks. I’d recommend the chicken teriyaki with Italian herb and cheese bread toasted with jalapeños and sweet union sauce. Careful tho it’s a little messy to eat! I wouldn’t recommend the cookie footlong. It’s crunchy and crummy not very good.m My sister makes better cookie than that at home.
