“They have the best Taco Tuesday and Wing Wednesday. 2 loaded Taco for $5 and $2 margaritas . Yummy.. Wings are sooo good. A variety of sauces to go with it.. have your sauces on the side Plus the coldest Beer in town. Excellent service. Brooklyn and Cole are right there for drinks. It is a great place to meet your friend. Just a nice place to talk to friendly people who live in town and around the area. They have several TV a and a pool table, with a dart board.“
“This place is awesome. Me and and my son stopped in here with our last 20 bucks. We got the small pizza and 1 glass of tea. While we were finishing up the delicious pizza the lady that was our waitress came up and was talking to us and asked us where we was headed to and I told her. Next thing you know she told us that dinner was paid for by her. Wow. I was shocked. I told her she didn't have to that we could pay for it but she wasn't having it. All she asked is for us to pay it forward some time. And we shall. Aside from that. The pizza was amazing. The atmosphere was positive and up beat. Definitely will be coming back again. Saving this little spot for future stops. And to the sweet waitress. Thank you and God bless you. And we will pay it forward I promise.“
“This place is a two decade, staple for my wife and I. Although we haven’t lived in Omaha for over eight years, we return and enjoy this place whenever possible. Last night we had another incredible and memorable meal here with great service in the low light, low ceiling, Intimate atmosphere of this nooked-in French-influenced restaurant. Every portion of our meal was amazing, and it may seem unfair to say, but although we spent quite a bit of money on this meal, the six dollar bread service might’ve been the best part of the whole thing. The goat, fat, infused, perfectly crusted and warm bread withsalted butter would push me right into a diabetic coma if it was more relatively available. The Wagyu beef with their famous brandy peppercorn sauce remains one of the best steaks for my pallet anywhere in the country. We will continue to return.“
“Exceptionally accommodating, great food, and great service! They were able to host a spur of the whim table of 12 despite being busy with smiles on their faces and they food came out promptly and was excellent. We would not hesitate to come back if in Omaha.“
“What a fun addition to Downtown Omaha! Memoir is hip, modern, and swanky all wrapped into one gorgeous restaurant. Even better than the design and decorations is their food. With a diverse and sophisticated menu everything from drinks to appetizers to entrees and beyond is delicious. The Memoir Dip au Jus was tender delicious and quite possibly the best one we have had. Their pasta and potatoes puffs were excellent and full of flavor. You cannot go wrong with anything you choose. Our waitress, Tammy, was excellent and quick to give us some great recommendations. All the staff was delightful and made us feel welcomed! I had heard that this is some of the best food in Omaha and I couldn't agree more!“
“I've been told to go to J Gilberts for years now. Very happy I finally had the chance. I loved the prix fixe menu options. The wedge salad was amazing along with my prime strip. Cooked to perfection and crazy flavorful. Finished with a delicious creme brulee. I flipped a coin for my starter cocktail and would definitely try the smoked old fashioned next time.“
“Mushroom bake and cheesecake were outstanding. Paid over $100 for a bone in ribeye and it was raw in the middle portion near the bone. Not sure if it's because they only broil their steaks and can't get the interior warm before the outside burns but I expected better preparation for the cost. Still a good cut of meat.“
“Came here for my birthday and I can’t say enough good things. Our server was very friendly and let us take our time. She was very attentive and made sure our glasses were always full. The food was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. While it was pricey i would say well worth “
“I've been trying to find a decent weekend breakfast spot and it's been really mediocre at the last several places I've tried. There was a large birthday party happening when I got here but the staff were very friendly, accommodating, and didn't forget about the guy eating by himself in the back corner while it was super busy. I will be recommending this place and bringing people to come eat with me here. I live up north and was not expecting this to be my new place but not only do I live close but they did a great job. 10/10 would recommend.“
“Seven One Two . We can't rate them high enough. Food, service and overall quality are excellent. Details below. To start off, I'm in a wheelchair. Most places that are accessible will watch my wife struggle to get through the door or a customer will help. Not the case here. My wife was about to grab for the door and one of the staff was right there, with a smile. We were seated immediately, out of the way, but not hidden in the corner. Our server, Sheree, was awesome. She answered our questions and explained the specials. She returned appropriately fast to take our order. Being about 2/3 full, I was expecting a bit of a wait, but our drinks were brought out quickly. The food is excellent. Expect it to be what the menu says it will be, not what you want or think it might be. We had the crab cakes for our appetizer. It had a good amount of crab and not all bread crumbs. My wife had the peach flatbread. Exactly what the menu said it would be and delicious. I had the beef stroganoff. After a little hiccup, it was as ordered and very yummy. We were disappointed that we didn't have room for a dessert, but we will make sure to leave room in the future. When we were leaving, 2 staff members were headed to open the door for us. Checking out their Facebook page, we will be back for the wine and flatbread special soon.“
“The wife and I happened upon Taste of Heaven on base, and we couldn't be happier with the food and service. The catfish was delicious and the Jamaican pulled pork was outstanding. Do yourselves a favor and find their truck and chow down!“
“Awesome customer service. The host/waiter is super friendly and welcoming, makes you feel like you're at home!! The food is finger licking good! The fried chicken is perfectly cooked and so juicy. The sides pair so well with the chicken you'll never want to eat chicken anywhere else. The friday chicken sandwich special was also amazing and came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint! Clutch chicken for sure. I would definitely eat here again.“
“Mike was my waiter he was absolutely fantastic and outgoing. You can really tell this is a happy atmosphere. Sheena was also a great manager and greeted us at our table. The food was delicious...... Spectacular end to a long day thanks Matteress Factory!“
“I love the ever changing menu. The different smells and flavors you get from this food. It is very inventive and beautiful. “I recently visited Jackson Street Tavern and had a generally positive experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable, providing a pleasant dining environment. I decided to try the Nebraska burger, and it was cooked to perfection, although it was slightly undercooked from medium well. Despite this, I found the overall taste and quality of the burger to be satisfying. The service provided by Katie was commendable. She was attentive and efficient in her duties. However, I did encounter a slight issue when expressing my feedback to her. It seemed that she was in a rush and didn't have much time to listen to my comments. She quickly ended the conversation and wished me a good day while I was still speaking.Overall, my experience at Jackson Street Tavern was positive, with tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. While the service from Katie was efficient, there was a minor issue with attentiveness when I was providing feedback.“
“This was my first time trying Sage and I was absolutely blown away by the 9-course meal!! The service was excellent and personable, yet still the stand-offish vibe you would expect at a fine dining establishment. Daniel our server did an excellent job, as did the other staff we interacted with. Each course tasted great, but our tables' favorites were the bread with a green-colored butter spread. scallop, king mushrooms, and lemon truffle desserts. If I came back during this menu I would order more of these a la cart! But if I come another time I will absolutely go for another 9 courses as this was an amazing experience to try so many new and delicious food pairings. I love the fact that your tips go toward the students' dining/learning experiences. Also love that the chefs names are featured in their menu! Such a unique and heart warming dinner. We arrived a little after 7:30 and left just before 10. We weren't waiting very long on any of the food, but a 9-course dinner takes time! 100% worth the cost. I will keep this place in mind for any future special occasions!“
“This is my Go-To for Soups! They always have multiple choices and haven’t had one I didn’t like. Clean atmosphere and the staff absolutely rock! I have yet to have a bad experience. I can’t recommend one waitress because they all work as a team and make sure you don’t wait for a refill ect. Foods always out in a timely manner even when the place is packed! Highly recommend checking it out if ya haven’t.“
“The ambiance of the establishment was exceptionally inviting, characterized by a serene and relaxed atmosphere that I greatly appreciated. The presence of pool tables added a unique and enjoyable dimension to the overall experience. Furthermore, the staff members were notably amicable and welcoming, contributing positively to our visit. The quality of the copy was outstanding, enhancing the ambiance and ensuring a memorable visit. This combination of a congenial environment, engaging activities, and stellar service underscores the establishment's commitment to providing an enjoyable and high-quality experience for its guests.“
“Fairly versatile menu . Appetizers Soups salads sandwiches burgers pizza enchiladas. Our server was very accommodating, taking time to explain things and listening to our needs. The atmosphere was much nicer than I expected as far as decor, but I didn't feel out of place. I love the little lamps and small fresh flowers on the table. Dad had the walleye special with Cole slaw and sautéed red potatoes. He ate it all and loved it. I had the chicken spinach and artichoke pizza. Cut party style and very thin crust but tasty. Our guests had the pork tenderloin with friends and the steak enchilada. She did not care for the fries but the tenderloin was good. The enchilada was favorable but larger than expected. All in all we will be back and am anxious to try other items on the menu. Oh and the margaritas were fantastic! Table of four was $200 with tip but we had 5 margaritas at $11 each a $30 pizza and spinach artichoke appetizer“
“my daughter and I went to barleys yesterday for lunch. loved that it was handicap accessible without any steps. We sat towards the back of the reatraunt and was quickly serviced by a waitress to get our drink orders and given menus. I ordered the patty melt and my daughter ordered a Canadian pizza. both were really good. the only thing we wished were different and I say we because she stole a lot of my fries lol were the fries needed seasoned with something. we had to add salt. and the patty melt sandwich could've used an added sauce like Dorothy lynch or something. it wasn't dry just needed something else to add flavor. otherwise it was really good. will definitely be back.“
“Glad to have found this breakfast spot. Housed in a mid century meets diner decor it has a nice mix of counter and booth seating. The wait staff is attentive and efficient at keeping the orders coming while keeping your coffee filled. The food is great - we've been in a couple of times now and everything has been delicious and enough for a sizable take home box. If you enjoy quality food in an authentic locally owned setting, this is something to try.“
“First rate food, reasonably priced. I like their burgers because they are well prepared and rationally sized. Old school in the best sense. No silliness, just simple quality. Really can't go wrong. Casual setting, friendly service in an out of the way corner of Council Bluffs. Before retiring I used to eat at Tish's about once a week. Reliable and good.“
“An Omaha classic that never disappoints. Cocktails are generous in size and excellent quality priced well below what other restaurants charge. Specials are always a nice addition to the regular menu. We always enjoy their sandwiches and burgers. The cozy interior is a great escape anytime, but especially in the cool weather.“
“Great home made breakfasts and lunch. Friendly staff and the ambience is really fun. It is situated in a quiet South Omaha neighborhood. It sits in an old drug store and extends into a next door building that was once a theater, very cool. Burgers naturally are good. Home made corned beef hash is worth a trip across town. Ask for Orsi's toast with your breakfast. Highly recommended.“
“Kickers is very friendly and fun. The Staff & Owner are Wonderful!! They have the best food and I'm telling you there's no way you can complain about price forsure. Check out their menu.. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. They are the best. Whether it's food, fun, karoke it's a great place.“
“Types the names of the burgers are memorable and inventive, and only cause me to wonder which one I should try the next time I visit. To boost your immune system by sharing germs, I recommend each member of your dinner party order a different burger so everyone can test and taste each one.“
“Needed a quick bite after a long day. The atmosphere was high energy. They accommodated us due to arriving at 10:58pm. The order consisted of Omaha Sourdough, Mangonada and Fish Tacos. Shoutout to the servers, thank you for the recommendations. Definitely a MUST GO!!!“
“The blueberry poundcake is great, it's not too sweet and that really allows the blueberries come through naturally.Context: I've been coming here for 5+ years. The only times I don't like being here is right before showtimes at the Orpheum (check current shows to avoid the rush). They're not lacking for customers, and they have always, in my experience, delivered quality food and drinks. Their rotating menu selection is always a joy to look forward to.If you want to experience it more intimately/get a feel for it, go at around 5pm, on Sunday, or right after a showtime starts at the Orpheum.(Photos are of the mbti menu, the blueberry poundcake, and the tres leches.)“
“The service was amazing. There were nine in our party and none of us had eaten here so it took a while to order but the person taking our order (at the counter) answered our questions and patiently waited for each of us to order. There was no one eating there when we first arrived around 9:15am but there was a wait by the time we left. There are not too many seats to dine in. I recommend the French toast that came with a nut butter syrup and some honey. The frittata with a side salad was so big that only half was eaten but maybe it was because the coffee cake that was also ordered was gone before the frittata came out. The chili tasted good and is also recommended. The meatloaf sandwich wasn't well liked. One said it tasted burnt and another said it was dry. The sweet potato and lentil sandwich was different. I don't think I'll get it again since I don't love lentils but I do recommend it if you like sweet potatoes and lentils. They do have a kids menu of grilled cheese and a few other items. One of the kids ordered a grilled cheese and the tomato soup from the regular menu but only the grilled cheese sandwich was brought out so I am not sure if the soup was missing or if he thought we wanted a kids grilled cheese (we mentioned we ordered the grilled cheese and soup so they brought out a cup of soup). Either way the soup and the sandwich were good. The vanilla creme soda and the White Elm Czech Pilsner were good that we almost asked for another to go. There was lots of street parking around when we left. We paid $2 for two hours of parking but one hour is probably enough. We interacted with several of the staff and they were all very pleasant. I love how the owners support local farmers too.“
“We've been participating in group bike rides starting and ending at Railway Inn on Wednesdays since September. The proximity to the FIRST AVE bike trail can't be beat and its convenient location in Council Bluffs is a great stopping point for almost any bike ride. I really enjoy their veggie burger and LOVE how you can swap any of their creative burgers for a veggie burger. Tom is a very attentive bartender/server. We will be back again and again! Thanks Railway Inn for being so bike friendly!“
“Bavarian pretzels - awesome. Garlic fries were very good. Custom built smash burger and patty was overcooked beyond recognition. It was dry and tasteless which was a shame since my dining experience was quite nice otherwise.Parking: Small lot behind venue, not much room to maneuver. Tonight parking lot was blocked off and a special event tent took up much of the space.“
“My family and I are passing through from Arizona. We had the absolute DELIGHT of having Cheryl as our server. She was amazing. Great service, and her sense of humor was on point! She kept up with drinks, recommended good eats and was just an absolute joy to have piping in at our table! Please, go say hello to Miss Cheryl and enjoy the best meal around!“
“Put our order in right away there was a lines with two cashiers took our order read it back to us we ordered wings got them in 10 mins and ordered pizza got our pizza in 20 mins their pizza is so good good wings were greatParking: Always lots of parking no mater what time you go thereKid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome they have lots of gamesb“
“Awesome place! They serve food until midnight. Great place for good drinks and a good vibe. The cheeseburger is amazing and my new favorite burger in Omaha! And I'm not that into burgers that much, but this one is done right Good service and fun little concept where you call. Great fun place to eat and drink before a night out. Will definitely return!!“
“Jonesys has the absolute greatest tacos ever. I drive clear cross Omaha to this location just to get some amazing service and food every single time. Thank you so much to the team, the entire team, for all that they do. Amazing place. Highly recommend them.“
“Food, amazing. Service, weird. Had to ask to put my name in for a table because we didn’t want to sit at the bar. The hostess seemed clueless & ready to just send us on our way.No dishes were picked up from the table. Waiter never asked if we needed more drinks. Just odd. Also, the “cookie dough balls”… was ONE ball.“
“Great place, great staff, and great food. Had a small mix up with what I ordered and what they brought me. They hold themselves to the highest standards and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great dining experience. Top notch service, highly recommended.“
“I like it here for their food and outdoor tables (huge plus: dog-friendly). We come here regularly for outdoor dining - it feels almost like you are in Europe. However, their service is terrible, and the food comes out painfully slow. You have to wait good 15 minutes before getting water and 45-50 minutes to have food served. And waiters and waitresses often forget what you requested. Seems like they are understaffed as well.“
“My husband and I stopped by here while visiting Omaha. I was absolutely impressed by the service from our waitress Jennifer, inviting atmosphere and striking yet flavorful food. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and will definitely be back for more during my next trip.Vegetarian options: Veggies skyscraper“
“We all appreciated the attention of our server and the quality of our meal. The ribeye was done to perfection and the Mac and cheese was about the best we've had. We celebrated a birthday and our choice for our meal added to making the celebration very special!“
“This wine bar exceeded all expectations! The wine menu is extensive, offering something for every palate, while the cocktail menu showcases creative concoctions worth savoring. As for the food menu, each dish is a masterpiece, from the mouthwatering bruschetta special to the tantalizing meat board. And the grand finale? The decadent truffle board paired with house-made ice cream is simply divine. What truly sets this place apart is the impeccable service—our bartender Dan was not only attentive but also incredibly personable, enhancing our overall experience. This wine bar is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary adventure with top-notch hospitality.“
“Great early Sunday dinner before Orpheum. Food was just as ordered and was very good. Had the VIP Mac and cheese and the pappardelle pasta dish. Definitely huge portions enough for another meal. Also had a jalapeño margarita which was spicey and delicious. Service was excellent.“
“Great lunch spot. Burgers were large, juicy, and just right. Staff was great, and the woman with glasses running the counter was hilarious and very kind. If I had a bad day in court next door, I would come here for solace in a sandwich.Parking: Downtown parking.“
“My husband & I visited on 12/30 (his first time but not mine) and the food was great. We got mushrooms for the appetizer. they came out hot & fresh. my husband got the chicken fried steak dinner & I got the Philly sandwich. both were good. the only issues we had were my husband said the breading on the chicken fried steak was a little salty & the service, while not terrible, was not the greatest (checked on us during appetizers but didn't come back until we were done to ask if we wanted refills on our drinks). overall, a pleasant experience & my husband says he definitely wants to go back.“
“Great catfish filets. Great carp. Side of beans were actually pretty good. Great service. Charming atmosphere. Packed place for Saturday lunch. It's cash only folks, so beware. Not many places like this in the metro area these days. It's a bit of a drive from Omaha but worth every mile. Next time, will try the walleye.“
“We popped in for drinks and appetizers and were pleasantly impressed. We enjoyed the salmon dip, bright and sassy (NA cocktail), and a beer. The server was pleasant, prompt, and attentive. Jamie, the manager, also shared with us an incredible NA Old Fashion that they were trying. The bar is spacious, a handful of tables spread out so you don’t feel like you’re in top of other guests. The bar is nicely stocked with stand by and top shelf liquor. The lighting sets the mood well. The music volume allows you to enjoy your company and masks the conversations from other tables. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, was reasonably priced, and a helpful portion satisfying both of us.We are excited to go back and enjoy other items on their food and drink menus. A great place to bring family and friends, dates, or business.“
“Rather busy and loud, stuck to my headphones but that's good for buisness! Maybe invest in noise Dampening wall decor?Food was amazing, best steak I've had in years. Above and beyond.Service was wonderful, obviously busy but still polite and courteous.I like this restaurant, very happy dining here.“
“We were in town for a baseball tournament and stopped here for lunch in between games and had a party of around 30 ppl. They welcomed us with open arms. Without any prior notice, we walked in with our large baseball family, got seated, had drinks served and orders taken within 10 min. Our food arrived piping hot within 15 min and was absolutely delicious!! I’m sure we put a slight strain on the staff and cook, so we were just blown away by their 5 star service. Just awesome!! Highly highly recommend this lovely place!!“
“Stopped by to eat with the family on the way in to Omaha. Service was very friendly, the place was clean, and the food was great. Everyone said their food was perfect. We also learned that Keno is big in Nebraska and our waitress was kind enough to answer some questions about it. We will definitely stop by agaian“
“Comfort food done right. Love the breakfasts here. You really can't go wrong on anything on the menu. Friendly, fast service in a small town atmosphere. Burgers are great and chicken fried steak is a classic comfort food dish that Henry's gets just right. Worth a short drive from North Omaha.“
