“Went through the drive thru yesterday for lunch for my toddler. The line was crazy for drivers side so we went through passenger side and I let him pass the money out his own window and get his food. He loved it and the guy working the window was amazing with him! He had the biggest smile!“
“Yummy food! Friendly staff. It happened to be karaoke night. Had a great time. Ate lots of the 36th Street Corn Dip before we took a picture. I had the Honey Garlic Flatbread, and my husband had the Bedda Chedda Stuffed Cheeseburger. Everything came out on time and hot! Jamie was very nice.“
“The team at Cabaret is friendly, and the food selection is a welcomed plus in comparison to other bar restaurants in Ankeny. They have a great selection of sandwiches, including original and unique tenderloin options I highly recommend! If pizza is your thing, there's a good line of ingredient full and tasty options. Beyond the normal options found everywhere, you'll have more clever and appetizing options at Cabaret. The appetizers are good and sized as expected. Make sure to pair your evening with a cocktail off the menu, this is top notch. The vibe is good, better with a nice evening on the patio. The staff and people make this a place worth visiting if you're out. Very reasonable pricing and a fair amount of seating even in the peak hours.Vegetarian options: Cabaret has a meatless hamburger option that isn't the cheap black bean or compressed soy version. It's always prepared well and served best on a pretzel bun with some Cab fries!“

“Walking into this establishment almost felt like walking into a bar trying to be a restaurant. Very limited seating, so if this place catches on, there will be wait times.We sat in a booth, and the wait was about 7-8 minutes. Our waitress informed us they had a call in, so she was playing bartender to a full bar while waiting tables. My heart felt for her.We had a blue berry mule, which the drink menu is very mule heavy. The star of the show was the Sweet German. A drink that had drizzled chocolate in the glass and the tastiest drink inside.I had the Rahmschnitzel, which is like a tenderloin, only smothered in a gravy. It was delicious, as were the seasoned fries. She had the basic burger and thought it was delicious.I ordered a side of beer cheese and told the waitress, I didn't think it was beer cheese, but she insisted. What I had in my small cup was so thick it took 60 seconds to roll out. Still think it was mustard. Also, I never received my spatzel.I will attribute this to the short staffing, but for a new restaurant, you need to step the game up as your concept as real potential.“
“We stopped by after the lunch rush on a weekday, so it was pretty dead. Everything was pretty good. Food was tasty and served quickly and with a friendly smile. The atmosphere was quiet but relaxed. The prices weren’t outrageous. Solid 4/5“
“I don't usually leave reviews but truly I must after the incredible experience we just had here. My kids are your typical picky eaters and getting them to eat is usually quite a task. Instead of the usual, both my kids devoured thier burgers, and were even asking if they could get another burger. They are currently talking about how they can't wait to go back. The atmosphere was fun and the staff was just as fun while still being professional. The food...the food was absolutely scrumptious. We will be back soon and greatly appreciate how one stop has made our entire day brighter.“
“Grew up in Ankeny and visited for the first time today. I was very surprised with the clean environment. The staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Our food came out quick and it was delicious. We had a good lunch. The staff cleared tables quickly and it was apparent they took pride in working there. We will definitely be back!“

“We ordered Club Car for lunch today for our office and I cannot recommend it enough. The food was fantastic. We ordered a bunch of pastas, salads, cheese curbs and the bruschetta dip. Highly highly recommend the pasta dishes and appetizers! All super tasty.“
“Culver's Culver's Culver's, what could I ever possibly say wrong about this wonderful establishment? The cheese curds are sublime, the malt shakes are divine, and those butter burgers will literally rock your world. The only complaint I will ever have with Culver's, is that there aren't any in the UK. This will always be a must whenever I'm in Ankeny visiting from the UK. If you haven't tried the spiritual awakening that it the Culver's butter burger, then looooord you don't know what you're missing. Cannot recommend highly enough.“
“The apple turnover is more like a fried crust with some apples in it. Was not impressed. They also forgot to put Ketchup in the bag. It was nice to see they are finally open. The staff was friendly. We will go again but won't order the fried apple.“
“I was struggling to find a place for breakfast and found Sorriso and was very impressed. I'm on a protein only diet and they were very accommodating to my request. The service here is excellent and couldn't ask for more. This is where the locals eat if you want amazing service and great food I'd highly recommend you stop in.“
