“Nestled in the heart of Muscatine you will find the most wonderful Italian Trattoria serving up their mouthwatering exquisite food. The pizza is the BEST around! There are many pasta choices, as well as delicious desserts. The ambience is friendly with amazing staff, which include the owner’s sons. Since finding this treasure, we visit at least once a week. The owners have created an atmosphere like none other! My husband & I absolutely highly recommend this beautiful restaurant! Delicious!“
“First time visitor and will definitely be back to try more dishes. Small restaurant setting but plenty of elbow room and I liked the raised ceilings. It made it seem bigger and not so crampy. The waitress was nice and answered our questions as we had them. When we paid she introduced us to Dom (?) and told him we were first timers.. Salad is basic...romaine and dressing.I got the chicken parmigiana and my husband got the manicotti. I tried a bite of his and it was yummy and the sauce was great. The chicken (and this is more of a preference) was not as crispy as I expected it to be and the sauce was perfect. Simple and just enough.We arrived around 5:45 on a Friday night and it was not busy yet so dishes came out quickly. The restaurant did start to fill up as we ate. We heard they have take and bake pizzas and after seeing several cooked ones go out the door we will definitely do that sometime. Dom (?) suggested that they freeze well and would be nice when the weather turns bad for winter and we don't want to get out of the house.Restaurant was wheelchair accessible but I don't know if it would work for the placement of the chairs and tables to make it work for the handles of the wheelchair not to get caught by the waiter/waitresses or be too close to the table's chair and patron behind us.Parking: Street parking seemed to be ample for a Friday night.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs restaurant, not auto doors and two doors to get into the restaurant.“
“This review is solely based off the good mashed potatoes and the experience I had with a single employee. Tonight when I visited it was busy and they were out of quite a lot of things and a bunch of people waiting for them to be filled. Here comes a girl named Alexis busting her butt to make sure everything is filled and running around looking around for help. While this other man, who turned out to be a manager just sat and watched her. I overheard her ask where the guy who was supposed to be doing it was, and he goes “oh I told him he could go do (X) because I knew you’d do it.” She seemed confused and was like well isn’t her on here? Again “I knew you’d do it” She clarified asking “aren’t you a manager though?” “Yup, he said smugly and literally walked off leaving her. I am a general manager and if I ever heard someone I trusted and that was employed to be in charge, I’d be very disappointed. That is not how you treat any employee, let alone one doing 10 things at once while you stand looking blank into the corner, knowing she needs help.That is your job to make everything run smoothly, not hers. Thankfully after telling her she’s doing amazing and that what he did was awful, I believe she talked to someone about it. But I hope something is done about that man’s behavior because that is not management material and down right embarrassing for a company to tolerate in the slightest. You’re amazing Alexis! “It's a very cool atmosphere. Down the stairs, and you enter a world of old stone foundation and brick walls. The correlation to the London Underground is fun. The service was excellent, and the pizza top shelf. The shrimp Alfredo was just okay.“
“Good deals with no price hike from inflation and tasty food leaves dominos as my go to for Pizza not only do you get more bang for the buck but the food is excellent. I had one pizza a little undercooked but it was but a fluke and even a little doey it was packed full of jalapeno bacon goodness. Highly recommend.“
“We had the lunch buffet when we stopped here. A little off the main street but not hard to find. We were pleasantly surprised to find the lunch buffet was only around $9.50 for seniors!! Bonus considering many places are over $12 . The lady at the counter was extremely pleasant and accommodating. She told us a large group had just left, but the buffet was fully restocked and had many great choices. The dining room and rest rooms were very clean. There were only 5 other tables of customers there at that time, but it was quiet and good food.When we left, she was visiting with a regular customer but made sure to stop and thank us for coming in. One of the better pizza buffets we have had in a long time and price was great!“
“This was my first time at a Pizza Ranch. It's buffet only or at least you aren't offered anything else. The pizza was good and there was fried chicken too. The service staff checked in regularly and promptly cleaned up when a patron dropped their full plate.“
“First time at Sal Vitale’s and everything was AMAZING! I really wish this Italian Ristorante was 40 miles closer to the Quad Cities. Honestly, worth the drive if you’re looking for quality Italian dishes or searching for great pizza. We could not decide on pizza or pasta so we ordered both. So glad too!Actually, thought the sausage pizza was one of the best. They make their own Italian sausage too. And their artisan crust is definitely a great mix of crispy but chewy. Love!Ordered Norino’s Seafood Pasta. Such a rich and creamy dreamy sauce on fettuccine with crab and shrimp. Magnifico!Lastly, we completed our meal with a delicious piece of tiramisu.
