“We got there early to be in one of the first groups to be seated. A waitress walked dow the line of people standing in line waiting to ask if anyone wanted anything to drink. The owner greeted us as we walked in and also talked to the people who were still waiting outside. I had the stuffed chicken over pasta and I was not disappointed. The chicken was flavorful and the mix of marinara and Alfredo was delicious. The red velvet cake was a delightful treat as well! We will definitely be going back again!“
“I hosted my husband's 50th birthday party at the Station, and their back room was having the Nightmare on Ingersol, so they had some tables reserved for us. We ended up with more than the tables would hold, and they did an amazing job of getting to people quickly, and made the night great, from the 8 year old, to the birthday boy with some people getting food, and getting drinks to everyone. “This is a small little resturant. We always get the steak and it's in my opinion the juiciest I have ever eaten. The salad bar is small but it's always fresh. The wait staff are very pleasant and you can tell they enjoy working there.“

“We came in with our family for the first time yesterday as we moved to Indianola only a couple months ago. The hamburger I had was one of the best I’ve had. Originally from the Des Moines area suburbs, the cheap prices were a shocker. I’ve had $10 hamburgers that didn’t taste half as good as the one I paid half that price for here yesterday. And the peach pie was delicious. You have to have it a la mode as the ice cream just brought out the flavor of the peaches that much more. Our kids wanted gum balls and we didn’t have cash on us but the person that served us and rung us up took two quarters out of the drawer and gave them to our kids. She said if the gum-balls fall on the floor they are hers! Needless to say they didn’t fall on the floor. The machine even jammed up the first time when one of our kids put his quarter in and she gave us another quarter. People are not nearly this nice where we come from because everybody is in such a big hurry. It’s great to see this. We will be back for sure. We definitely appreciate service like this.“

The junction chicken was delicious and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I've ever had. It's a small place and seating is somewhat close together. The waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing, and our waiter in particular was so friendly and recommended the crab stuffed walleye, which was to die for! The environment was classy and intimate, yet casual enough that it felt comfortable and warm. “This review is for 3.5 stars. This place has been on my list of places to try for a while so my husband and I ate dinner here last night. We both thought the food was good but priced higher than it should be for what we got.I got the CFD Burger and my husband got the Mojo Pork Sandwich and while we thought they were both fine, we felt a little underwhelmed for how much they cost. My burger was $14 and the pork sandwich was $16 and neither one came with fries or a side. The side fries were $4, which I got. I checked their website before we went there and the website price for the fries was $3, not $4. I really hate when restaurants change the price of things on the menu but don't update the menu on their website.My burger was good but not amazing. Their sauce in It reminded me of a Big Mac. I feel like I have gotten just as good hamburgers from Smashburger or Zombie Burger for much less money. My husband said he was expecting more flavor with his sandwich. It tasted good but didn't wow him. I guess we just expected more because the chef is a James Beard Award nominee. We thought the flavors would be much better than food you can find elsewhere.I also feel that burgers and sandwiches should always come with a side. Neither the burger nor the sandwich was very big. There's no way either one alone would fill you up. I don't know anyone who would order a burger without getting fries or some other side. However, I will say that the fries were very good. They were light and crispy and didn't taste like they were frozen from a bag. They were just slightly warm, though, and not piping hot. They were still tasty though.All the employees we dealt with were friendly and nice. Our server, though, disappeared after we got our food. She never checked on us to ask how things were. I didn't get very much ketchup for my fries and I was looking all over the room for her to ask for more ketchup. When I finally found her, I was halfway done with my food.The place looks amazing and definitely looks like an upscale modern diner. The decor and furnishings are beautiful. “A week or so ago my family placed a large online order. My wife picked the order up and brought it home. When we got everything separated we realized some items were missing. Both my wife and I tried calling the restaurant several times due to living 20-plus minutes away but could only get a busy signal. My wife ended up going back to the restaurant. The young lady my wife spoke with was very apologetic about the entire situation and extremely kind. Despite having to go back for a couple of things, the young lady's handling of the situation and the food being great more than made up for everything. We will for sure return in the future.“

“I worked 40 hours overnight in the last 3 days. I came to check out Mullets, for the first time, when I got off work this morning. It's Amazing! Very cozy atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I chose an alcoholic beverage, to unwind after my long weekend, and it is Delicious! I got the salmon hash brown breakfast and asked for a different kind of cheese than what was listed on the menu, not a problem for this establishment. My food came out pretty quickly, hot, perfect, and Delicious! The coffee is also fresh and delicious, a huge plus for me.The music is great, the staff has been checking on me,and I am a very satisfied customer! Come check this place out. I love how I didn't have to ask for any extra dressing for my side salad, they put just the right amount for you. The grilled chicken breast was cooked perfectly, as well as the grilled onions and mushrooms it was smothered in. The broccoli & cheese soup blew me away. It had more seasoning than I'm used to, but was absolutely incredible! Being new to the area, this is by far my favorite place in the two months I've been here. I had a drink within two minutes of walking in--they have a decent selection of crafts/locals versus domestics. I went with the Citrus Surfer the first time and availed myself of their Bloody Mary the second time. The contents include a pickle spear, olives, and a strip of bacon. I believe they used zing zang for the mix.Kinda sticky inside and a somewhat depressing atmosphere. Also an oddity occurred--a glass mysteriously fell off a nearby table with no one sitting there and it crashed to the floor.I did not partake in the food this time; I did upload their menu as of August 2023.“
“I feel that this place is super good to go to eat, the food there is super good and when something runs out they put it out very quickly, the service is excellent, they serve you very quickly you ask questions like a guy. If you take children to that place they ask you how old they are and what you are going to order for drinks and well if you don't have children or they don't take you to that place they only ask you the other thing and even though the place gets very full, that's normal but from there everything is excellent.“

“I haven't eaten a Maid Rite burger in over 50 years! So I ate 2 of them! These are an Iowa favorite and were a real treat when I lived in Iowa as a kid. Basically they are steamed ground beef on a bun. Ketchup, Mustard and Pickles if you want, I ate mine plain just as I remember doing all those years ago. It's an old fashioned place that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner plus soft drinks and ice cream. I love em and I think everyone should try them!“
