“this was our go to place when we lived on the south side. we hadn’t been in forever and had lunch here yesterday and it’s still as amazing as ever, actually better! i was thrilled to find out they have veggie burgers now so i ordered one and it was delicious. our server was AMAZING, super friendly, quick, attentive and somehow read my mind and knew i wanted a side of ranch with my tots. also their coleslaw is legit the best i’ve ever had and i consider myself a slaw snob. all around 10/10 and is still the south side gem we love ?“
“One of our party noticed a server taking out garbage and then handling our food with out gloves or washing up in between. It was brought up to the waitress and individual staff and was probably not handled well by both. They offered to remake the meals, but we had plans already, and the 1st service was a little slow. So the manager offered us a free desert. We declined. The food was decent“
“My daughter and her family took us to Dam Pub this evening. I wasn't expecting much but I was so wrong! What a fantastic place for drinks and a great meal! The adult beverages were tasty and terrific! Everyone had pizza except me as the cold weather prompted me to try the chicken and noodles. The appetizer was fried portobello mushrooms with a parmesan dipping sauce! Unreal! This was the first time visit for us but it will not be last! 80's theme to the music and decor! We loved it!Parking: You need to park across the street in the strip mall parking lot. We easily found a close spot.“

“Would highly recommend. The atmosphere is great, and the staff were all so kind and helpful. Our waitress, Molly, was incredible. She had amazing drink recommendations and helped us decide on food. The bourbon bbq burger is 100/10. And it’s a funny thing, but she was around to refill our waters a ton, which is always appreciated. I definitely want to come back!“
“I have eaten here too many times to count--at least 80-100 times over the past 15 years! Best cheeseburger and fries (ask them to make the fries extra crispy!!)! Their bacon wrapped tator tots and their humongous tenderloins are something you shouldn't miss either. For that matter, everything is good! Beer is cold! And the place is clean! Don't just drive by! Stop in and have a bite to eat!“
“We stop at Misfits pretty regularly, when we're out on the bike.They seem to have small live bands in there quite a lot, with varying degrees of talent. But, everyone seems to have fun.The atmosphere is like most Eastside dive bars. It isn't fancy, but the hospitality is big, and the people are friendly.There is seating at the bar, and several tables. What band is playing seems to dictate the level of difficulty in finding a seat, inside. If there's no band, there is a lot of seats. There is also a large connected smoking patio, with several tables and chairs.The food looks and smells good, though I haven't eaten there. They run specials, and I believe have a taco Wednesday, also.“
“This place doesn't just have full bar + amazing pizza, it has actual soul! There's a personality about it that shines through in the friendly service and the overall ambiance and retro vibe. Stopped in for a late lunch with a friend. Everything on the menu sounded great of course but we went with the recommend hand battered fried mushrooms. Clearly not a frozen product and it was absolutely made from scratch. The batter was light and crispy. Came with ranch to dip. Huge portion and the two of us didn't come close to finishing because we needed to save room for pizza. We opted for the small "White Lightening". Thin buttery crust, pesto sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian sausage and artichoke hearts. If this was a small, I can't imagine the size of the medium and large. Great place to bring a crowd! Lively atmosphere with retro biker, vinyl, and rocker memorabilia.“

“It's a great pot stop off of I-235. Nice bar with great food, staff, and clean bathrooms. On our way to Chicago from KC area. I couldn't face a fast-food stop. This was definitely a good decision. Excellent! ?This is a small neighborhood place and parking might be an issue. I prefer small :)“
“We had an excellent time at Wellman's on Saturday night. The entire place was great. The restaurant was clean and seemed fully staffed. My burger was recommended and excellent. Our table was close to the bar and Jocelyn did a great job taking care of us. We camped at her table for several hours, and she was attentive from the time we arrived til when we tabbed out. I thought the noise level was what it should be for a place like that and I would jump at the chance to return if I was in the area.“
“I really like the look of the place. Very open and inviting. Good atmosphere. Very friendly staff. I ordered my usual bacon cheeseburger plain with barbecue sauce on the side and fries. My dining companion got a pizza burger with tater tots. As for the accuracy of our order. Our fries and tater tots were in the wrong baskets. And my burger was not plain. It had salad all over it. It did look good and fresh if you like salad on your burger. After I fixed my burger we dug in. The fries and tater tots were perfect. Hot and delicious. I was told the pizza burger was excellent. As for my bacon cheeseburger. The bun was fresh and toasted perfectly. The cheese was tasty and just the right amount. The bacon was slightly undercooked for my taste. And only 2 slices. The burger was easily identifiable as a premade frozen patty. And had no char. A little disappointing. The other elements made it worth eating though. A good overall experience. Looking forward to going back on Wing Wednesday for their chicken wings. All in all definitely worth checking out.“

“Cozy small town bar and grill. Service was timely and professional. The locals were a bit loud but joyous. My food tasted exactly how you imagine those meals should taste. I do wish my food was warmer. All in all this is a nice little place to fill your stomach, and I’d be happy to come back.“
“Kind of a dive bar type of place with a great menu with plenty of options to choose from. My wife got a steak dinner while I went for more traditional bar food with traditional breaded chicken wings, fried cheese curds, & beer. It all was very good! Our server was friendly & attentive even though it was pretty busy & she was covering a bunch of tables.“

“We have been there numerous times for Wednesday steak night and a couple taco Tuesdays, every meal has fantastic!!!!! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating! We have only had one issue with our food and it was corrected immediately! Absolutely will be going again!“
“I stopped in here for lunch earlier this week and had a very pleasant experience overall. The food and beer were both excellent, the server was friendly and attentive, and I even had to opportunity to have a friendly chat with the owner, Tony, for a short while. You can tell he cares a lot about his customers and making his business and enjoyable experience! I’ll need to stop in again soon!“
“Went to try the wings on a Saturday afternoon (2pm). Place was probably 1/2 full. Ordered the wings and bartender said it would take, “awhile”. Maybe it was my fault for not asking what that meant, exactly, but for a 1/2 full bar that had 2 bartenders and 1 gal running the kitchen, I figured that meant 45 min or so. An hour and a half later we got our 12 wings.The wings had good size to them. The sauce was really awesome. Only thing I’d like to see done differently is not frying them for quite as long. They were nice and crispy on the outside, but the meat inside was pretty dry.Bartender was slow, but she seemed very new, so I’ll let that go.I’ll be giving it another try to confirm.“
