“We had the ribeye steak tonight and it melted in your mouth! It was delicious and seasoned just right. The salad was huge and the fries were plentiful. I couldn’t eat all the salad or fries as I wanted the steak more! Hats off to the cook! We will return.”

“This family owned place should have 10 stars. The service was friendly, the scones were perfect, and the coffee was awesome! We got an assorted of all 4 available scones. It was lovely to see all the plants and propogation going on as I am new to enjoying the wonders of gardening and houseplants. My Mum got a regular coffee with cream and sugar and I had their Spring special, a “nutty Irishman” and it was really good. We highly recommend this place. If you find yourself in Mason City, but sure to add this place to your schedule during your visit.”

“Good food, lot of effort, Avoid the Romano.The pasta being fresh gluten & effort in the sauces is amazing. The Romano could be DPO authentic ish, but that's not a complex flavor, it hits the "Tastes like poison" palette top to bottom. 10 minutes after I was done eating it, the poison taste lingered.Ruined an otherwise stellar dish, first time I've disappointed my mom & returned a full plate in a long time.Ordered two items without it & again, cost to quality can't be beat.”

“This is one of our favorite places in town. It's one of the few places where I love trying something new each time because I know it will be fantastic! The staff is truly wonderful, always so friendly and welcoming. They do an excellent job with our children, who also happen to love this place!Kid-friendliness: We encourage our children, ages 5 and 8, to order on their own. The staff does a great job of taking their orders and encouraging them. They always seem appreciative of how well-mannered the kids are.”

“Wonderful establishment. Great quality, price & customer service! The lemon custard flavor was deliciously creamy. However, the star of the show can be found on the seasonal menu; the London fog flavor is an earl grey flavored ice cream with hints of lavender and is my absolute favorite! Definitely check this place out!”

“I used to live in Mason city and now live 2.5hours away, but every time I go to Mason city I have to go to taco tico. Great food, great service, always busy, and responsible prices. I have been to lots of restaurants in my life and alot of restaurants have messed up my order, I have been to taco tico in Mason city plenty of times and they have never messed up on my order.”

“It's not very often I leave a 5 star review, but this place deserves it.We went with a group of 10 for Sunday Breakfast. The parking lot I huge, and it was full, but we only had a short wait before we were seated and ordering.The bloody Mary was better than most places and not over priced.I ordered the eggs Benedict with hash browns and it was perfect.Nobody in our group had a negative thing to say, and they are kind of picky.There are a lot of other things on the menu I'd like to try so we'll be back for sure.”

“If this place is open.. it's the only place you should be going. I ordered the special. Which today was enchilada with rice and beans. It was good and only $8.00 it was a lot of food for $8.00. Also, I got a shrimp taco and a fish taco. Both on corn tortillas. The shrimp taco was good. The fish taco was the greatest food experience I've had since I've lived here. I think they cost $4.50 each. But, I'm so full right now and all I can think about is ordering two more fish tacos. The woman was very kind. The atmosphere was welcoming. Everything coming out of the kitchen and the bar looked incredible.”

“I absolutely love this coffee shop. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere, great coffee and pastries, really nice owners. If they have pumpkin bread you HAVE to try it, amazing. They put a little fire pit out front for nicer weather and have a few outdoor chairs. Great locally owned place to stop for coffee!”

“This was a pit stop on our way home from the hospital, and BOY were we happy with our experience. I had the Cuban and my partner had the Michigan Avenue. Both were delicious, made quickly, and served in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely try it again if we come back.”

“Met Allen today, he is very energetic and positive. I got to try the Hot Banana Nut Muffin shake and herbal tea. The shake was delicious and hit the spot on a cold day like today. “I have shopped at Hy-Vee for decades. They have great sales and a broad range of products to choose from . I miss the fact that they don't take ur food to the drive up lane like they used to though. Times are changing and everyone needs to adapt to those changes. I'll continue to shop there as there location and products are what works for me.”

“This spot was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend the Okinawa Tea with black boba, it was the perfect sweet drink that wasn't too sweet. They were quick and made fresh boba for us which was fantastic, some of my favorite boba I've had. Will absolutely be going there when I go through Mason City!”
