While our phone map took us to the entrance...it isn't super clear how to get to the restaurant and we had a couple of false starts. First at the marina office near the road and then we turned around on the winding path before getting to the restaurant thinking it was leading nowhere. Just keep driving - you will eventually get there...Once we finally found the restaurant, the view was great and probably the largest draw - hard to top relaxing at a table with food and drink while watching the lake and boaters. The facilities are what you might expect for a seasonal dock business with public access...functional, simplistic and a little crude - not what you would find in even an average place on land.With that said, we found the drink selection and the food to be above average. We each ordered burgers (see pictures) to use our coupon. “A cozy local bar with a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is fairly small, but the offered choices taste great and they have some daily specials. If you love Iowa-style PORK TENDERLOIN SANDWICHES, you'll want to check their's out. The breading tastes correct, not like they used pepper-spiced fried chicken breading. Also, the oil is used primarily for tenderloins and fries so it doesn't have the undesirable subflavors imparted from onion rings or fish. And the food and beverages come at very reasonable prices!“
“Average bar with room for 20 or so at bar , tv for ball games easy to see. Barmaid was pleasant. Was there on Sat at 4 pm for fundraising event for Dog rescue company. Didn't order anything to eat since they were walking around with fish , tater tots etc they were cooking out back. Didn't look out back but it looks like there's an area where you can go out there probably good for the summer months.“

“We stopped in for one drink on Labor Day Sunday. There were only about 8 people there and they all seemed to be regulars. Everyone was kind, service was good and the drinks were tasty.It's a small quaint bar. Only one bathroom (toilet) in the girls restroom.“
“My wife and I have been stopping here for years. Many of our early dates were playing pool when it went by another name. But the current management has great people working there, the food is awesome and well priced and if you can't have a good time there... that's on you.“

“Went on Wednesday for the pizza special, buy a large specialty and get a medium two topping free! Service was fast, friendly, and interactive. Drinks were refilled in a timely, friendly m manner. Pizza is a thin cracker crust, toppings were just the right amount!“

“Tried to come here twice and had no good luck. Third time is the charm! Had an incredible experience with our server Deaja. Would recommend starting with the Brussels Sprouts followed by a burger, either the Hit Corner or the Mushroom Swiss. Don’t forget to upgrade to the Truffle Fries!!“
“First time there, I had the burger with Guda and bacon, Bacon was thick and caramelized, Burger was cooked exactly as I asked for it. Stake fries were alot thinner and a stake fry and crispy. Wife had the loaded nachos with Chicken, she was very impressed.. We will be back!“

“I love the dark, Irish pub feel. Felt like I was back in the UK. There was only a single bartender, but he seemed to get the drinks out quickly. You order at the counter, and it's cash only. There's an ATM available in case you're not carrying any. Luckily, our friend had some cash. Seems like it's a much-loved neighborhood dive! Will remember to bring cash next time.“
“Fun dive bar experience where I even met some new friends! However, there was one bartender who was extremely rude and had an attitude any time I tried to order a drink. Definitely soured the night. My girl friends also had the same experience. However, my husband didn't have any issue so just had him order the drinks.“
“We had a hungry crew with us, 6 adults and 4 children. The waiter was patient with us and kept us up to date on how soon our order would make it to the grill. They have a small kitchen, but the cook creates big results from it. The food was fabulous!We had Burgers, chicken, patty melts, sausage, and every deep-fried veggie on the menu. My 4yo ate the 2nd half of his plain hamburger the next day and stated, "they did a good job of this." If that's not high praise, idk what is.“
