So... awesome place... but! The kid they have in charge of taking names and party size is the biggest jerk (keeping it nice)! Screaming out people's names like it's pissing him off, including the "all business" frown and zero personality making everyone feel like they're bothering him to eat here! We're sitting here right now and he's barking out names regardless of who's standing 2" from his pie-hole then jerking tables around and throwing silverware on them. We went for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious and the variety was great.Kid-friendliness: We had our 10 year old granddaughter and she chose chicken strips instead of the buffet. She got her food quickly and enjoyed it.

Our waiter was the owner so we were treated to some stories about the place. We had been to Breitbachs when we still lived in Iowa; and on a trip that took us by Balltown, we were able to stop in again. Probably one of our favorite restaurants in Iowa.
