“This is one of our local favorite places to eat. Sally has some really good foods and specials. Our favorite is the All You Can Eat Butterfly Shrimp 12$ with mashed potatoes, gravy and salad bar! The salad bar has 2 made from scratch hot soups, salads, fruits, puddings and some of the best Blue Cheese Dressing you will ever eat! Wednesdays she has a taco bar with all kinds of goodies on it. Her menu has just about every kind of food you can think of on it. Her home made pies ARE AMAZING!Kid-friendliness: They have a nice kids menu and she has soft serve ice cream!!!“

“Definitely a neighborhood pub. All the patrons seemed to know each other and it was nice overhearing some of the joyful conversations.The food was fantastic. The tenderloin and burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly, and my son loved the potstickers. We will definitely go back next time we're in Mt. Vernon!“

“This was the second time I ate here. The first time I had one of their eggs benedict, it was phenomenal.This time I had the breakfast nachos and it was almost inedible. There was so much queso dumped on it, it was gross. I picked around and ate what I could, but I was very disappointed. The server wasn't very attentive and at the end asked how it was and didn't seem to care that I could barely eat it. I don't throw away food, but this went in the trash. Perhaps I should have sought someone out or sent it back. I will be contacting them about it though. I don't want someone else to make this mistake too. My friend I was with liked her simple meal of scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon.“

“Small restaurant with great food and service. I ordered the hamburger of the month with smoked gouda and onion bacon jam. It was delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has 2 cement steps before the door with no railing. The door is at a sharp angle and narrow.“

Service was friendly but clearly understaffed.Why will these businesses not pay to hire the proper amount of personnel? It's become a standard among the food industry, to try to serve more, with less staffing.Despite the slow service would definitely recommend trying Jone's County Local.“

“A pleasant experience and good food. I had the Philly Chees Steak with onion rings. The rings are some of the best I've had. Great portions and flavors. The meat in the cheese steak was a little dry but extra cheese would have solved that.“

“Felt like walking into a friend’s place. Friendly staff. Great drinks and our appetizer was to die for. Always looking for the trifecta.. good food/drinks, great atmosphere and great service. Yep, you will definitely get that! Highly recommend!“

“First visit. Warm and cozy. Full menu. Burgers and fries to steak and potatoes. I was concerned about not having a reservation as the parking lot was crammed, BUT the neon sign was blaring immediate seating. We entered said, 4, please, and they said follow me. I couldn't find anything to complain about. I'm going back soon and doing the supper club thingy.“

“I have a dietary restriction and I modified my meal. When I got what I ordered I asked if that was 1/2 the amount they usually put on it and the waitress was very rude when she answered yes. Then she never came back for me to get a refill on my drink. She gave me a dirty look and had a bad attitude when you ask a question. The food was delicious but I hope I do not get her service again. It is not good when you don't have good customer service skills. I often stop going to restaurants that have rude wait staff.“
