“We arrived during a busy lunchtime and were seated right away. There was a lunch buffet offered, but we never saw the price listed anywhere. We also decided we didn't need that much food. We ordered pickle chips and sandwiches. Both were very good. Our server was very busy but still very attentive, We received water and tea refills when needed without asking. When she brought us our tickets, she split the pickles between the two bills. That was nice, and we hadn't asked as that can be a pain for the server. We each spent about $20.00 before the tip. Nice place, good food.Parking: They have a large gravel parking lot. We were there during the lunch hours, and there was still plenty of room to park.“
“Went with the family for brunch. MIL got an omelet, she was happy with it. FIL got a bbq chicken. Large plate. He said it was okay. I don't remember what my husband got, but he said his was good. I got the french toast with hashbrowns. It was okay. Staff is extremely friendly. Prompt service and kept drinks refilled. Not the same menu as online, but could just be it was a Sunday menu. This used to be a favorite. It's under new management now. They are being diligent on continuing to improve, which shows they are really trying to make this successful. I believe they can do it and would go again. Wishing them the best of luck!“
“What an absolute gem! Stopped by Pickle's Pub on way to Des Moines from Minneapolis as we wanted a sit-down restaurant because we had some time. We were so impressed - awesome food, great environment and amazing service! Definitely will go out of way again to go back and highly recommend! Thanks to the staff for the great experience!“
“The sandwiches are wonderful. My favorite is the all veggie one...all fresh ingredients. The coconut cream pie is delicious!
