“This is actually the second time we've eaten at Landmark Grill & Grind... The first time was good, but this time was exceptional. We rolled in as Easter brunch was wrapping up on Easter Sunday. Traveling on Easter Sunday is never fun when you are trying to find something to eat outside of fast food or reservation only Easter brunches. We could tell that staff was frazzled from out of the gate after wrapping up their own hectic brunch service. Our party of four arrived just as another party of four arrived for regular menu service. We were seated after a short wait. Tina introduced herself and took our drink orders right away. In conversation she mentioned they had been open from 700 AM - 100 PM for brunch. The first three hours had been spent with only two members of staff seating and serving. Our party ordered one catfish special, two shrimp dinners, and one chicken strip plate and accompanying sides and foutain drinks. Tina did an excellent job. Updating us on our food order, refilling drinks, and she was taking care of several tables besides ours... The food was great! I'd highly recommend the catfish dinner! Two large fillets and cooked perfectly. Extra crispy fresh out of the fryer tater tots! We wrapped up our meal and headed back out on the road. Hoping the staff recovered well after Easter Sunday and that everyone tipped well! Thank you for being open and for the great food and service!“

“Tried this place for the first time and was not disappointed. Our server Shauna was very friendly and attentive. Prices were pretty fair. Fries and boneless buffalo wings were great. Bone in wings weren't very flavorful and seemed overcooked. Tenderloin was pretty bland but didn't leave hungry since it was also a very generous portion.“

“Stopped in on a bicycle ride and was pleasantly surprised by an excellent strawberry milkshake and attractive outdoor seating. There is a significant food menu, which struck me as typical bar food. I haven't sampled any of that yet, but if you are interested in soft serve ice cream in any of its many manifestations, this is your place. I'll definitely be going back.“

“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. First time here. Sat on the large deck and were waited on immediately by a friendly waitress who took our drink order while we looked over the menu. We decided to go with a mushroom and sausage pizza. We didn't have to wait very long for the pizza and it was very good. Thin crust which was a plus. The 2 of us finished the pizza (barely) and were happily surprised with the bill. All in all - great service, great vibe, damn good pizza and reasonable prices!“

“4.25* (out of 5) Food: 4* Atmosphere: 3* Value: 5* Service: 5* 01/21/2024 My wife found this place online and wanted to stop for a meal, so we ate brunch here on the way out of town after our weekend stay in Amana. It is inside an older traditional brick building and has a lot of character, actually reminding me of walking into a centuries-old restaurant in Europe. The basic colonial decor fits the character of the 19th century Colonies theme with a penchant for the color burgundy throughout the restaurant. I gave the atmosphere an average rating - clean and historic, yet also a bit aged. The service, quality and value of the food though is what stood out to me from our visit. Max W. was our server and he was very attentive, full of suggestions and made the experience quite enjoyable. My wife ordered the Ronneburg Melt with Fried Potatoes and I ordered the Schnitzel Sandwich with Pickled Beets (see picture below). I don't have pictures of the meals and while I can't seem to get it posted on the website, here is the link for the Reel on Instagram, showing the food and the interior of the restaurant: If you found this review helpful, please show your appreciation with a Like or a Follow. “Service was friendly and professional. I ordered the wiener schnitzel family style to enjoy all the refillable sides. It was all good food, the veal, the green beans, the mashed potatoes and gravy, the cole slaw, the cottage cheese, the bread and jam.“
