Not a terrible experience by any means. The service was good and atmosphere was nice. The food however was pretty average. Got enchiladas with chicken. Presentation was nice but the plate was scalding hot while the food was below room temperature leading me to think the food was microwaved. Two microwaves in use in the kitchen confirmed that. We eat at this place at least once a month. They are usually packed but still we never have to wait for a table if we come before 6pm. We typically order margaritas first, which they serve in huge glasses, and are delicious. As for the foods, I have never had a bad meal there, everything is consistently good and well prepared. We go here regularly and I cannot recommend just one item. Every time I go I get something different. Best bean and salsa starter or tied with Matador DT. There is always a special and half the time that is what I order. Nicest people work ar la Tapatia! Not as busy as it used to be when that corridor was full of business before work from home. Especially Albertsons. Please go to jeep this place open!!
