Brunch should be a relaxing atmosphere, not feeling like you are at a night club….”

The waitress was very knowledgeable as well, so we feel safe eating here with food allergies. The yellow curry with steamed tofu was incredible, And the Pad Thai was very filling – – especially delicious with some of the curry on top. The vegan fresh rolls with tofu were delicious as well, and I love the peanut sauce. Going back for the second time, thanks!”

“I have loved everything I have ever ordered. Green Curry, Red Curry, Panang Curry, Pineapple fried rice, Chicken Pad Thai and Yum Woon Sen. we come often, and the staff is always friendly! But the coconut ice cream and sweet sticky rice is HEAVENLY! I grew up having my grandmother's coconut hand churned ice cream, and thought nothing could beat that. But the toasted bits of coconut add such depth of flavor, and the sticky rice is wonderful. One of the best desserts I've ever had.”

“I'd give Funky Taco 5 stars for the food, but 2 stars for the service. Just about every time I've been there, I've been met with bad attitudes and made to feel like my presence is an annoyance and inconvenience to the hostess(es). You might think I'd done something to provoke them, but I am a friendly and polite person. I haven't experienced this behavior or attitude at any other Boise establishments. That said, I still go there on occasion for their vegan nachos. They offer a few great vegan options. And the restaurant itself has a cool vibe with good music.”

“Recently went to this cute lil restaurant and it was fantastic! It has a deli inside that you can buy all kind of food and drinks from all over Germany to take home to fix. It also has a small restaurant that was fabulous! They have 8-10 items that are available including a huge Bavarian pretzel that 2-3 people can share. I myself tried the schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel bun and it was fantastic. I washed it down with a cold Octoberfest beer from the tap! They have 8 German beers on tap. There is also a Biergarten out back when the weather warms up. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon!!”

Be warned that eating here will ruin you for the other mediocre-in-comparison breakfast restaurants in the valley and you’ll become addicted to the food and service. It is NOT cheap and you’ll most likely have to wait for a table but you get what you pay for and you will always leave knowing you got your moneys worth. 11/10 cannot recommend enough”

“13th Street pub and grill is worth a visit if you are in Boise. It is family friendly. The server was attentive and available. Most of our food was on point. However, the French fries were overly salty, and Curry soup was heavy-handed on the curry, which concealed the other flavors of the Curry soup. I would highly recommend the black and blue burger and the Cod and chips. For 5 of us, the bill was under $120 before tip. Consider the burger was Wagyu beef, and the salmon was fresh. Try the sweet potato fries.A draft beer is $6 and an old fashion is $13 if you want an adult beverage.”

Nice and light this Cream Ale I could have easily had another pint of but I restrained myself. I highly recommend giving this brewery a try. They have two different locations in the Boise area which makes the brewery perhaps more reachable. I had excellent service here and would love to come back again. I would be tempted to (and did try a different beer at the other location) try other beer here but if that Vanilla Cream Ale is an option I may just not be able to waver in getting it again.”

“I go every Sunday and the staff is amazing. The boba is wonderful and what's great. is that a lot of the drinks that contain milk? you can substitute it without milk and use a alternative milk such as coconut or soy or almond milk. The boba itself is very soft, but my favorite is the crystal boa. it has a texture like aloe. Every time I come in I'm always read it with a smile and catch up with them from the past week. sometimes I'll have them pick out their favorite drink for me to try and everything on the milk. tea is a wonderful. The taro. they make it in house. my personal favorite is the winter melon with half sweetness the mochi waffle is to die for. I love the matcha one and get that every Sunday as well”

Great seafood for Boise but overpriced in my opinion. $167 for two each with 1 drink, appetizer and no dessert. That did include tip. I was quoted 20 minutes from my order, which was totally fine as I was not in a rush, and I could see they were busy. I was quite surprised when my food was ready just 13 minutes later! Getting the food home, it was quite delicious and a good-sized portion. I had the French dip sandwich with au jus and a side Caesar salad. The meat was tender and ample. I appreciate that the salad dressing was in a separate cup, so as not the salad before I got home..Cons- When signing for my bill, the manager gave me a pen that did not have the center part with the ink. It was just a hollow plastic tube, but it did have a security chain attached to the counter. Apparently, that was the only pen available at the front counter, and while they were scrambling trying to find a pen, I decided to use my own. There was an employee who was not a hostess, who was just standing up at the front counter the entire time of my visit. I'm not sure if she was supposed to be working, but if she was not clocked in yet, maybe she could be out of the public way. I looked inside of the paper bag, and notice that the Caesar box was open, so I closed it, and there was a larger box with my sandwich and a small cup with the au jus dip. Unfortunately, the lid on the cup was not secured or taped down and came open during my drive, soaking the au jus through the bottom of the paper bag and into my cloth passenger seat. I suppose I will be smelling that for months to come. No napkins nor utensils were provided. Note that there is very little parking close to the building, so you will be walking around the back to the front door.”
“I'd give Funky Taco 5 stars for the food, but 2 stars for the service. Just about every time I've been there, I've been met with bad attitudes and made to feel like my presence is an annoyance and inconvenience to the hostess(es). You might think I'd done something to provoke them, but I am a friendly and polite person. I haven't experienced this behavior or attitude at any other Boise establishments. That said, I still go there on occasion for their vegan nachos. They offer a few great vegan options. And the restaurant itself has a cool vibe with good music.”

“I have loved everything I have ever ordered. Green Curry, Red Curry, Panang Curry, Pineapple fried rice, Chicken Pad Thai and Yum Woon Sen. we come often, and the staff is always friendly! But the coconut ice cream and sweet sticky rice is HEAVENLY! I grew up having my grandmother's coconut hand churned ice cream, and thought nothing could beat that. But the toasted bits of coconut add such depth of flavor, and the sticky rice is wonderful. One of the best desserts I've ever had.”

“This place is a gem! Tonight was our second visit and, once again, we were blown away by the service and the food! The pasta is cooked to perfection and they serve VERY generous portions. Both times we've visited the wait staff did an exceptional job. So far we've tried their House Made Focaccia, Roasted Beets, Tavolata Salad, Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (my fav!), Rigatoni, Pappardelle, and the Zeppole. ALL were perfection! Several reviewers were "put off" by the noise. Yes, it's on the. noisy side. BUT, the noise is from people having a lovely time at a wonderful restaurant eating fabulous food! In my view, a busy, noisy restaurant usually means a great place to dine! Until I return I will dream about that Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe!”
“The last 5 years my husband and I have made this our go to restaurant for Afghani and Mediterranian food. Best naan in town--chewy, thick and flavorful. Service is excellent as always. Portions are generous. Our favorite is the Chicken Tikka Masala. Sauce is truly exceptional. We'll keep going back as we have the last 5 years. 10 out of five”
