“This place is fan-freakin-tastic! The food is delicious and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I even had a regular customer (we were traveling) offer me the first bite of his pancake (I forget what kind, but it's great for borderline diabetics / diabetics). It may be paleo, but don't quote me. We will definitely patronize this local establishment when we're in Coeur d'Alene.“

“My family and I went to Mothers Day brunch, I am 61 so have been many brunches including the Davenport and this was the best the food was phenomenal. I have never had prime rib that literaly melted in my mouth. The staff was wonderful and my exchange stud loved the bathroom so much that pictures were taken. I can't thank them enough.“

“First timers. If you're not careful, you'll drive right by the little place. We live in Coeur d'Alene and had lunch there yesterday. Oh my! If you like burgers, you MUST try this little place. We had the James Dean burger. Strap yourself in and prepare for something special. It "ain't easy to eat - but it's great! And the fries and onion rings are incredible too. By the way, this little burger pit isn't cheap - but considering how much other hamburgers are in today's crazy world - it was worth it and you'll probably take half of it home for later.“

“Generous portions and well prepared meat!I visit CDA twice a month and I’ve tried several BBQ food trucks based upon reviews. This one definitely lives up the five star ratings. The 1/2 pound rack of ribs and 1/2 pound tri-tip were massive and smoked perfectly. Baked beans were excellent but just a little sweet for my taste. This BBQ was significantly better than others in the area because the meat was flavorful but not over seasoned. Staff was friendly and patient. I’m glad I tried it… it’s worth a visit.“

“When you get a chance to eat breakfast in a small, cozy neighborhood spot, you try it. Franklins did not disappoint, quirky, fun staff offer quick quality service.Only ate breakfast twice but it was perfect. Real crispy potatoes, homemade sausage, fabulous bacon I had it all with their ghost pepper sauce. Surprisingly tasty and not unbearably hot.Honestly, I loved this place and could see my diverting to town just to come here.“

“We ate here on a Friday night of valentines week. It was super busy so we sat at the bar. As busy as they were, they still made us feel like we were the most important people in the restaurant. The oysters, Brussels, salmon and duck were all so delicious and prepared perfectly. The bartender Jordan took the best care of us and a few members of the kitchen crew came out just to make sure everything was to our liking. Can't say enough good about this place and their team. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back for sure!“

“We've gone here many times and from my experience the food as always been great! I love the Red Bean and Chorizo Stew in particular. I enjoy the way the inside of the place looks BUT they can get pretty busy, so sometimes it definitely gets a little loud. The service has usually been friendly and helpful, but can also get pretty slow due to the busyness. Over-all, if you haven't tried it out I recommend eating in! Another pro, to me, is the location. If they have a +15 minute wait there's a pond right behind the building you can walk around or find a seat and hang out at.My BIGGEST CON personally was the phone service experience I had. We wanted to order for pickup and got the same things we always get when ordering in now. The lady on the phone seemed SO confused by... everything. She kept needing to put me on hold nearly between every question or order. They were particularly confused about bread, lol, which comes with the meal I was ordering. Lastly, I wanted to ease her confusion about the bread and said "its okay" when she asked me another question about it. Immediately after I said that she hung up instantly. No "goodbye, thank you!" Or "Your meal will be this much and we'll text you when its ready!" Nothing. Just hung up randomly. I assumed perhaps she thought I meant "its okay" about... the whole order? Anyways, we just got food elsewhere, but it was a bit of a bummer.I doubt she was trying to be rude, I think maybe she was new and they just didn't train her well. I can't say this will be the call in order experience for anyone else, but it might be worth it to just... dine in!“

“We visited Beverly's to celebrate our anniversary... We had a table reservation, arrived early so sat in the bar and immediately received a very warm welcome and positive energy from bartender Chris and from Cynthia... We enjoyed perfect ice cold martinis while we soaked in the gorgeous lake view... the bar staff was so nice, that when our table was ready, we chose to stay and dine in the bar as the chairs were low and comfortable and the views were outstanding. Upon ordering dinner, we started with a French Onion Soup and Beef Carpaccio that were both impeccable. The beef carpaccio was unique due to its dry aging and the French onion soup cooked to perfection to my liking as requested (extra golden on top). Even the bread service was delish... For our entree's, we shared the hot rock filet and holy cats it was a perfect medium and the presentation is outstanding with the fire-y creamy peppercorn demi-glaze poured over the steak and hot rock... We could cut the steak with a butter knife it was so tender... and flavorful... we also added a half pound of king crab legs which were fresh, blissful and hearty! As a sweet surprise, they added a handful of fresh rose pedals to our bar space in celebration of our anniversary. Throughout the evening, we truly enjoyed speaking with the bar staff, most notably, bartender Chris, who radiates with positive energy and loving vibes with a genuine heart... (ask him about his campground dream)... and Cynthia was lovely as well. A kind soul. From the moment we arrived, to hours later when we reluctantly left, we left with full bellies and even fuller hearts... Seriously, it was a wonderful experience we will not soon forget... Thank you so much for making our celebration special.“

“My husband and I have been here maybe half a dozen times over the last year. Staff is so nice and top notch, food is really good and prices are decent. My favorite is the meatball sub, the wings are excellent, and pizza is very good. The pastrami sandwich is good, it was very neat and lean good quality meat, mustard and pickles, however I grew up with with a smidge of the fat and pieces of the peppery crust mixed in. I guess that's a "dirty" sandwich and if that is what you are looking for, this isn't it. That being said we still love the place. Good local beer selection too.“

We ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni, feta, and cold pickles.. yes cold pickles, don't knock it til ya try it! We also ordered the idaho nachos and the pastrami sandwhich. Everything was fresh and hot... and delicious! The pizza was soft but crispy if that makes sense, high quality ingredients for sure. The fries could've had more cheese maybe or even a beer cheese sauce would've taken these to the next level but they are a must try and a huge portion for $14. The pastrami had no fat.. at all! I hate pastrami but theirs was not all dried out and full of stringy fat like most places. I want to order this for myself next time and i never thought I'd say that about pastrami! The wait staff was friendly and attentive, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I will definitely be back! This was honestly the best pizza I've had since living in Spokane for the last 3 years. The bill came to $76 for the sandwhich, idaho nachos, medium 3 topping pizza, pastrami sandwhich, a hard cider, and a non alcoholic beer. A bit pricey but I won't blame this place since they have quality ingredients and inflation is not their fault obviously. Oh we also liked that they do have a couple of NA beers and a mocktail list for those who want to have a drink but can't have alcohol so bonus points there!“

“Where the locals go for breakfast. ?Favorite breakfast spot for almost 40 years. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl, at the original location, it’s even where my grandpa taught me how to order eggs (over-medium). I’ve moved away from the area, but make sure to always stop in when back visiting family. My parents still go probably once a week at least. And my husband is now a convert too.It’s a solid, no-fancy-fusion, just good ol’ breakfast classics restaurant with an atmosphere you can only get in North Idaho. Tons of breakfast meat options, want a delicious smoked sausage with your eggs….no problem.Must try at least once, the cinnamon roll. As big as your head and an absolute treat.My favorite: the lightweight with home fries and biscuit and gravy. Their omelettes are also solid. They’ll also switch your sides out for cottage cheese and tomato for the low-to-no-carb days.Everyone is very nice, servers are friendly and efficient. Woody, one of the owners, is always very friendly and welcoming and somehow still looks like I remember him from when I was a kid. I’m not saying there’s an anti-aging ingredient in the gravy, but that would explain it. ? Also, my husband is a black Middle Eastern man and I’m a plus size woman and we’ve both always felt very comfortable and welcomed here.I hope you get a chance to experience this place at least once, and love it as much as me and my fam do.“

“My friend an I had the Roosevelt Room and it was super cute with the lounge chair and armoire. The sun came in through the lace windows in the morning which made for a cozy start to the day. The garden around the house is so relaxing, I would have loved to spend more time hanging out there. We played some board games in the common space inside as well. Great location to access downtown and the lake. Highly recommend this location to stay.“

“My visit to Collective Kitchen in CDA delivered hands down, one of the best meals I've had. I could of closed my eyes and blindly pointed my finger to any of their amazing offerings and been blown away. Instead, we kept our eyes open and ordered Lamb lollipops for an app and Seafood Hotpot and Cottage pie. Delicious, up scale food that I would of payed twice what they charge. The service was was like it's own main course. Victoria took care of us from start to finish. What a personality!“

I'm on a month-long camping road trip and I had a few bumps in the road and that ended me in Coeur d'Alene Idaho in a little motel that advertises Storman Norman's on their key cards. I normally really look into restaurants and bars before I go to them and this time I said screw it were just going there and it was the best decision I've ever made. The food was amazing! The bartender was friendly and engaging and so kind and helpful. I really wish I would remember his name because he was so incredible tonight! I enjoyed meeting one of the customers there and playing that little ring toss game thing for a shot and everything about this place is just welcoming and warm. What a fun and friendly place!
