Got to meet the friendly Acme Bakeshop folks at the Boise Farmers Market this morning. Their pretzels and the Golden Slipper loaf are both excellent. Can't wait to try more of their breads.
Their regular and garlic sourdough are both outstanding; you'll never want to eat grocery store sourdough again. I get a few loaves every week from the farmer's market. If you ever get the chance, give their C.R.O.W bread a try as well, it's so unique and delicious and keeps really well. Honestly just buy whatever sounds good; I've never had a bad loaf of bread from them.

Like another reviewer, I wish there was a storefront. Acme bakes a world-class baguette. We pick up ours at the Boise Co-op. Every time we buy one, I wish we had bought two! This bread is just OUTSTANDING! I do suggest that you call the Co-op if you are going there to buy the baguette to make sure that Acme has done their daily delivery and that they have them in stock.
