“I love MFT!!! I use their signature seasoning in place of pepper in almost everything, especially on avocado toast. Their ingredients are high quality and they always support local if they can. I can’t say enough about their food for catering events! The brisket, watermelon salad, mashed potatoes…Scott and Janel know what they’re doing and they can help with all your needs.“
“Just bought some of the Mocha Toffee cookies from Winco on Meridian Rd. The whole family loved them. Perfect ratio of soft with just the right amount of crunch. Lovely homemade flavorful taste. This was my first time spotting these at Winco, hope they will continue to be sold there. Looking forward to trying other flavors.“
“Super friendly and attentive service, the calzone I had was delicious and the meatballs and sauce were also good. Great atmosphere, kKnd of expensive but I believe it was worth it tonight for the drinks and dinner, including tip approximately $60.“
“Exactly what I wanted for a rainy winter afternoon lunch break! ? We enjoyed two items off the lunch menu and two half Ceasar salads. Everything, from the bread at the beginning of the meal, to the entrees (the clam linguine and a chicken parm grinder) was absolutely delicious.“
“This place is one of my favorite places to get pizza in town! They reopened and are better than ever! There’s a wide variety of choice and they also have some gluten free options. Casanova is family owned and all the staff is friendly! They’re always rotating specials along with have incredible desserts.I highly recommend Casanova to anyone looking for a great pizzeria with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere!“
“My best friend and I spent a week in Boise and went here every day, for breakfast and lunch. The food is amazing, coffee too, staff very friendly and after every meal we were already thinking about the next one. Have to say I really miss Boise because of them!“
“We entered Moon's Kitchen Cafe ?. The atmosphere was amazing as I enjoyed the decorations around the cafe. The wait time was extremely backed up to about an hour to an hour and a half wait. Our sever was okay. She did communicate about the kitchen being backed up. I just didn't enjoy that my order was still placed wrong after all the wait, and she sure enjoyed swearing a lot. I did appreciate the complimentary orange juice ? and they topped off our coffee's as we'll ☕️. Next time I go in, I would rather get an omelet rather than their Monte Cristo (too dry and wasn't found of the fried corn flakes).Willing to try anything twice ?“
“As always, an absolutely divine experience with courteous, professional, and conscientious staff. They are immensely personable and make you feel at home. The food is over the top excellent and each dish is presented elegantly and the flavor compares to no other. Tonight we enjoyed the escargot, seafood flatbread, and veal piccata. Each dish was exploding with flavor!!! We finished our evening with a lovers cake… Complete with coffee and hazelnut… Wow!Beyond the food we thoroughly enjoy the relaxed and romantic atmosphere and the attentiveness of not only the staff, but the chefs wife, Michelle… You feel like you are dining in their own home. Thank you for always welcoming us!!!“
“Pizza Twist ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pizza Twist is an international pizza chain that started in Sacramento, California. It was originally known as Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist. Today, they have 103 locations. Like most pizza chains, Pizza Twist uses frozen, pre-formed dough. Known for using locally sourced ingredients and premium quality GMO-free meat, Pizza Twist offers traditional and Indian-influenced pizzas. They have Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, and Halal options On 7/1/23, I tried Pizza Twist in Boise for the first time. I ordered a small Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza ($13.99), which is a customer favorite. Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza has their signature Tandoori sauce, fresh diced mozzarella cheese, sliced lamb, crisp red onions, spicy jalapeno, juicy pineapple, fresh diced; garlic, ginger, and green chilies, garnished with fresh cilantro. My experience at Pizza Twist exceeded my expectations! The service was excellent even though they were very busy the night I visited. Owner Raj took my order. He asked how spicy I wanted my pizza. I told him that I like spicy food and asked him to make me the Pizza the way he would, if making it for himself. My pizza was ready to go in about 20 minutes. My pizza was still hot when I got home, which is about a 10 minute drive. The pizza crust was unremarkable, but the flavor combination of the toppings was outstanding! I wouldn’t normally order pizza with pineapple, but the sweetness of the pineapple paired perfectly with the lamb and spicy jalapeño. I understand why the Spicy Lamb Kabob is a customer favorite. It’s unlike any pizza I’ve ever had, with a unique combination of flavors that is downright addictive. I would definitely order it again. Next, I would like to try the Butter Chicken pizza. Highly Recommended!!!“
“Amazing little find. Great couple running the place too. Interesting history as well. The coffee is superb and roasted in Idaho. The cheesecake is fabulous. I'd tell you more but that was enough for a single visit. Will definitely be back and will encourage others. Worth the wait even if the lines out front. And it was.“
“I was told I needed to try some Basque food for my first time in Boise and this came up as a top place! The seating was kind of crowded but honestly the bartenders were great and they did a great job to accommodate. I ordered the lamb grinder spicy and it did not disappoint. The croquettes were recommended to me as well and they were great. Regardless, I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend this place as a nice and casual eatery.“
“I can't believe I haven't left a review before about Perks of Life. It is such a fabulous coffee shop and eatery. Comfortable, welcoming, delicious food, great coffee, efficient and friendly service. It looks family owned or run. We have always had the nicest people serving us and other people in the cafe - it's just a friendly, wonderful place. Lots of gluten-free pastries - which are amazing. Several gluten-free food options. Indoor and outdoor seating. The seating and the art are eclectic and friendly. Vegetarian options and children friendly.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options. I don't see anything vegan here. But it's worth asking.Dietary restrictions: Numerous gluten free options. Vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: The seating is soft and comfortable. There are several games available for children.“
“I legitimately cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is fantastic and their menu is incredible. My wife loves the Sushi Nachos and I love the large bowl with tuna, salmon, and shrimp. The people are nice and it’s been great making friends with our repeated visits.Give it a try if you love sushi or poke!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Fantastic topping options and LOTS of activities for children (games, coloring). I loved that they featured local makers. The customer service was genuinely friendly and just overall top notch! Everything was very clean. Highly recommend!“
“We were seated promptly, the waitress greeted us & informed us of a special (sea bass, which I ordered), took our order in a timely fashion & our food was delivered fairly quickly. My food was excellent and my partner enjoyed her meal as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the bill; I thought the meal was a good value.“
“I love a good bbq joint and this is no exception. The best parts of this experience were the sides and the homemade barbecue sauce (which you can buy at the store). The mac and cheese was some of the best I've had, so cheesy and delicious! I ordered the pulled pork plate, which was great value for the price! I thought that for bbq all of the prices were very reasonable. The plate comes with two sides and garlic bread. The garlic bread is made fresh from local Gaston's bakery and is delicious!“
“Enjoyed Valentine's Day dinner fixed price meal. Creative menu and selections were delicious. Particularly loved the scallops and risotto dish! Waiter was very good but kitchen got a little behind, nothing unusual for a holiday meal as restaurant was packed. A worthwhile experience overall!“
“There we were, just visited the nutrishop next door. My wife was a little hangry, but luckily had some Greek yogurt, but alas she was spoonless. Thinking quickly we knew this place had the best acai bowls in the business complex, we hopped right in and asked if we could use one. They were super gracious and friendly and gifted us with the one thing we desperately needed, a spoon. We went back to the car, and a sense of horror struck us like a home run in the NFL. She has left the Greek yogurt in her car. These lovely people from the Nekter Juice Bar let us borrow one of their precious spoons, yet in the end we had no use, I greatly apologize for that Nekter. For the last 2 weeks that spoon has been sitting in my center consol just being the absolute chillest spoon ever. We have had our laughs, we have had our cries. I have named him Spence, and needless to say me and Spence the Spoon have become the greatest of friends.10/10 would 'borrow' a spoon again.“
“St Lawrence is one of my five go-to dependable restaurants in Boise. They have amazing smoked meats and sides. I can eat there five times a week and have different food each time and all of it is spot on. Try the brisket, the ribs, and any of the sandwiches. Their Mac and cheese is very good as well“
“These are pretty spectacular for cupcakes! I’m not a fan of buttercream frosting, but I will say they do it incredibly well——completely smooth, not grainy in the least! Very sweet, but the Wedding Cake one is by far the best. It has a very faint real almond hint that is elevated by the buttery frosting.“
“Had a wonderful family dinner experience tonight. Not only was the food amazing and delicious, but our service was spectacular! Our server Aaron was on top of it-he did not miss a beat when our chaotic crew came in to eat, and was so friendly and attentive the whole time. He really went above and beyond with us. A special shout out as well to the shift manager, Jordan-he was checking in and making sure we had everything we needed and any questions answered. Honestly, they both made it seem like they were part of our crazy group and joined right in with the fun! It’s not often in these busy and hectic days that dining out results in an actual, enjoyable, experience-so this was truly refreshing and appreciated!“
“I absolutely adore this café and they're related sundry shop. Ryann and Mel are high quality human beings. You know how to create wonderful, inviting experiences. If you need good coffee and good food, a great place to relax of the book or host a meeting, or fun eclectic gifts for your home and family--sip, eat, stay, play, shop here!“
“Sugar craving kicked in and decided to come get that fix! Salted Carmel & Twizzle are tasty flavors. Great place to grab a sugar cookie or 1/2 dozen! Nice selection of flavored cookies from the menu. Give this place a try. If you want customs soda, don’t forget that too! Will come back and try different flavors of cookies.“
“Wow!!! With all the construction, I decided to take a new way home. I have seen Diggs Pizza several times on Cole but haven't tried it. Well tonight was the night, and I'm sure glad I did. The Parm bites AKA Diggs bite were delicious.. also got an order of steak fingers that were some of the best in boise. Got the meats Pizza, and it was totally loaded with meat. Employees in the restaurant were super nice. If you haven't tried it, stop by and give them a try. Good prices..18 Diggs bites for $2.99. Only downside is if you plan on dining in there, it's a little small. Will definitely go back and get dinner there again.“
“The experience here was amazing! We ordered online, I walked in and said our name, it was ready and waiting right there for me. I turned around and went home. When I got there, my wife and I put the kids to bed and spent time together before having dinner. When we opened it we were in for a big surprise! The food was great, but they even took the time to write a little thank you note on each of our napkins. Will definitely be coming back and would encourage anyone to support companies like this one who takes care of their customers!!“
“My husband and I stopped here after a morning hike in the foothills. We grabbed a couple iced coffees and breakfast burritos. My drink (the Aspen) was a nice blend of vanilla, honey and lavender, however I do think there could have been less lavender. My husband's cold brew was fine, but nothing spectacular. The breakfast burritos (one sausage, one egg) were alright. They are pre-made in house and stuck in the microwave to order. I shouldn't complain about them being piping hot, however they were definitely overheated as the tortilla was tough on the ends. They were good, nicely stuffed with eggs and loads of cheese. They come with sour cream and/or salsa. The barista was very sweet and gave me an extra salsa free of charge. The total for two medium drinks and two burritos was $24.75. IMO, that's a little steep, especially since the only "specialty" item really was my drink. For the price, the burritos could have been way better. I'll definitely stop by for coffee again, but probably not for food.“
“I wanted to try everything on the menu! Alas, I could not, but everything I did try was delicious, including the spicy tuna maki, Japanese tacos, crab cake tacos and the Optimus Prime rib philly. I've had the portobello sandwich at a work function and it is truly difficult to nail a portobello sandwhich when dining out. It's honestly the whole reason I went to the location in the first place. They had live music (Michaela Stutz French) that didn't interfere with my dinner, but gave a 11/10 ambience. The bartender was incredibly attentive and the whole vibe was just exactly what the doctor ordered. Thank you! We will definitely be coming back and with friends sometime.“
“I walk 4 miles everyday to get here. Been coming here for great coffee and food for 130 straight days. Better than the food and the coffee are the great employees and the owners…every person that works here are all great people and my friends. They treat me like family and I’m so blessed to be able to come here everyday. Luv you all. Brian“
“First off, the macaroni and cheese was amazing. I got it with carnitas and my wife got it with bacon. This bacon was not just a little bit, but at least 3 or 4 pieces chopped up and served with a side. The beer is amazing, the seasonal rotations are worth the wait.Try the Earl gray stout... I know, I know sounds strange but let me tell you. It is not over powering, the bergamot is just right and the hops are perfectly suited to the flavor. They currently at time of writing (1-17-24) have 4 versions of their Russian Imperial stout. Try it!I will be back to sample the rest.“
“Went here for the first time the other day and it was a very fun visit. The atmosphere is eclectic and exiting. The food was delicious. We shared the Gobbler sandwich and a peach pie scone. It was so delicious. That scone is dangerous! My only downfall of this place is that I couldn’t find any high chairs for the kiddos, but if that’s my only downfall, then I’d say this place was pretty great!“
“I had twenty family members coming to town for the in-URN-ment of mother's ashes up at Dry Creek Cemetery so I reserved a private room at Louie's for a family-style meal. It was absolutely perfect in every way: wonderful service (thanks Maddie and her crew!), great vegetarian meal, easy accommodation of my husband's gluten free diet, and nearly four hours of visiting time. I absolutely recommend Louie's for special occasions and regular dining too. (And I found out they sell quarts of their marinara sauce too. I'm definitely getting some of that!)“
“5 star pub and grill. The food came out perfect. The burgers were delicious and the turkey avocado bacon sandwich was to die for. Perfectly hot and crispy. Guacamole melted in your mouth. The server was nice and on it! Forget how good they were!“
“We've been here multiple times(want to say up to 5 now) only had one rough visit. The last visit the waitress told us I should have sent the food back till it was what I wanted as they "want us to always be happy with what I get". Fantastic food, great service (even if it's busy), and good atmosphere. Location is interesting to get into if you aren't super familiar with Eagle road or Ustick but overall worth a visit. They do sell Mamosas if you want an alcoholic drink. We will be coming back again, hopefully soon.“
“I tried a new bowl I wasn’t thrilled with tonight. After taking a few bites, I went back up to order another bowl. Hex insisted on making me another one free of charge. Every time, I’ve come to this location, he recognizes us and has the best customer service! Love Paddles Up. Always appreciate the quality and service.“
“I will caveat this with my review has no reflection of the staff as I purchased Amaru's goods resale through another vendor. I will say that on multiple occasions, I found the quality, taste, and form of the 'cina-saint' cinnamon roll to be hands down the best I've encountered in my lifetime. I drove from Eagle to the North End to enjoy them. So much so, that I had to inquire multiple times baristas at the coffee shop to ascertain where they were sourced. It ruined all other cinnamon rolls for me. It ruined all other frosting for me. Now that I know what one can taste like, everything else just feels... disappointing. I dreamed about these stupid things! Will certainly be stopping by and likely trying a cake for my wife's birthday and will report back on our experiences there - but if nothing else, get the cinnamon roll! It is life changing!“
“We've ordered takeout from Sarah's a couple times and will continue to do so. The bagels are delicious. My husband loves the turkey sandwich and chicken wild rice soup. My favorite is the Thai chicken curry soup - really delicious.“
“Burger was good. Brussel sprouts were the best!. So many French fry options. Had the yam fries and they were good. I do think the 9 dipping sauces are mostly geared towards potatoes. The garlic aioli was ok, but uninspiring.Vegetarian options: They have a mushroom based burger, the FunGuy.“
“I ordered the insalata Napoli! The food was absolutely fantastic! I sat at the bar top and felt instantly welcomed and comfortable! Everyone, from the cook, Trevor, all the way down to the servers Amberlei, Justin and Chris, were nothing but kind and incredibly hard working, the place was busy!! Everyone kept it moving with grace and stellar customer service! I’ll definitely be back and next time I’ll bring friends!!“
“Great place to buy cakes! I've bought most of my cakes here and I have always had a great experience. The girls that work there have great customer service skills & very friendly. I recently went in to buy a cake that was sold out online, and they made it happen !?Parking: So much parking!Kid-friendliness: They have great cake flavors for all ages! My kids love the confetti cake?“
“Super impressed with the overall experience. Friendly, efficient service. The food was amazing! I got their veggie quiche, cinnamon roll, and a drip coffee all for about $20 which is a decent price in my opinion. Love the decor and overall vibe as well!“
“My wife and I dined here March 2nd. Tyler the waiter was amazing! The food was in between. Some Parts were good some weren't. The calamari was tender and tasted great. I ordered the famous Jakers ribeye tip cut. I was expecting a larger amount of meat. It was probably 6oz instead of 8-10 like other cuts were, for the price. My wife ordered the Jakers chicken and the crab tasted like it was out of a freezer and the noodles were a bit bland, but the chicken was soooo good. So like I said, toss up. Hahaha“
“What an amazing find. I have been meaning to come here for a year, and shouldn't have waited. Why are you? I was expecting something closer to Pastry Perfection. Nothing like that. The walk-in store is fairly small: maybe four or five different kinds of pastries and a couple of breads. Simple and quite nice. I got a Kouign-Amann. About the size of a muffin. Wow. Just perfect. Also a Gruyere-ham croissant. Sooo good. Cinnamon roll wasn't overly sweet, a little dry for me. Coriander-rye bread is the best rye I have ever had. Ok, I am not much of a rye person. I am sure I will be back every week. Will upload some pictures.“
“One of the better pizza joints in Boise! Annnnnnd they have sushi! I was skeptical but not only is the sushi good but the pizza is fantastic! Great flavor combos and you can even get it by the slice. I can’t drive by this place without going in to get a slice of their jalapeño popper pizza!“
“BFC! Always serving up some of the best burgers and unique fries in the treasure valley! This is a very tight, small location and seating is limited. However, everything is always on point and beyond delicious! Don't be fooled, prices are higher but this is absolutely top quality, especially the Bison burger! Service is quick and staff are nice ??Kid-friendliness: Burgers and Fries, how could this not be kid friendly? Our kids love BFC“
“I loved this place! I was down in the area and was looking for somewhere new and found this place. I decided to give it a try and so glad I did! The inside is so colorful and fun. The food was so good!!! I had the Bomb Bacon Benny. I almost made myself sick trying to eat it all. I got the fruit as my side and it was really fresh and a good mix. I had to take it home though because the Benedict got me so full. lol. You definitely get your moneys worth. The waitress was really nice and always made sure my coffee and water were full.“
“They have the best gluten free bun I've ever tasted! I love all the protein options for the burgers too. They also have quite a few flavored salts and several dipping sauces. My son and I have a lot of allergies but this place checks every box for a place that we can both eat. The food is high quality and fresh. This is my new favorite place for eating out!“
“This is a go-to place every time someone is in town. The pizza is wonderful, and the staff are amazing. It's pretty busy, and sometimes you have to wait, but it is always worth it. The moral of the story is that Smoky Mountain is always worth a visit, and in the family's opinion, is a great pizzeria.“
“Like another reviewer, I wish there was a storefront. Acme bakes a world-class baguette. We pick up ours at the Boise Co-op. Every time we buy one, I wish we had bought two! This bread is just OUTSTANDING! I do suggest that you call the Co-op if you are going there to buy the baguette to make sure that Acme has done their daily delivery and that they have them in stock.“
