“Some of the best Italian food outside of Italy--- Served promptly and in good spirit--- We were there early and enjoyed the quiet with only one other table occupied. As the room filled with people, the noise level increased and the service necessarily lacked some of the attention when there were so few of us. We shall return for the food!“
“We stumbled across this place by accident. What an amazing find. The food was incredibly good. I had 1/2 the Italian salad and the lasagna soup, my friend had flat bread and the lasagna soup. Now folks, that is a serious bowl of soup. For those that don't like soup, you've never had anything like this. I can't describe the location well enough, but it's so cool that you have to go see it. Now parking is interesting. They don't actually have a parking lot, but we figured it out so it's doable. Will definitely be going back in the near future.“
“Super friendly and attentive service, the calzone I had was delicious and the meatballs and sauce were also good. Great atmosphere, kKnd of expensive but I believe it was worth it tonight for the drinks and dinner, including tip approximately $60.“
“We dropped in for dinner last night. It's probably best if you have reservations, but there was immediate seating at the bar, so we took it. The bartenders we're fabulous. Helpful & attentive, but not in your face. Their recommendations for wine & entrees were spot on for us. The food service was quick but also spaced out well so that we had time to finish our appetizer before our entrees arrived. We went with the Burrata to start. Oh my... so good. The apricot-cherry mostarda was delightful. The Black Ravioli was very good & the perfect lighter meal for someone who wants an appetizer, dessert, or both. The iltalian sausage in the Pappardelle had a little spice to it (I love spice!), but not so much that those who have low spice tolerance would have difficulties. I thought the noodles, saucce, tomatoes, & broccoli perfectly balanced the sausage. I would definitely get this again. Finished the night with their Chocolate Tiramisu. Light with the chocolate & coffee flavor you'd expect. My friend loved it.Love how you get your bill. They give you a black book to write comments about your experience. I loved it! Simple but fun & unique. ❤️ Nice spot for after work, a family night out, or a date. Try it out!“
“The Luciano's Mimosa and Fettuccine Alfredo were absolutely wonderful, and the staff was just the right amount of friendly and accommodating without being overbearing. The only drawback really is the somewhat cramped layout at the entrance and some small needed renovations. But the prices were reasonable, and what great restaurant with traditional recipes isn't a little outdated in places?“
“I ate here for the first time today. what a Fantastic Margharita Pizza! The whole pizza was tasty and perfectly cooked which can be difficult for some local wood fired pizza companies. Please open a shop in East Boise! We need Great Pizza over here! :)“
“From their hearts to our kitchen table! I grew up in New Jersey surrounded by amazing Italian families and the very best people and the very best Italian food. I can honestly say this little spot on Vista is THE closest I’ve gotten to experiencing that since my childhood. It’s the food...it’s the Cucina experience...it’s Betty the Washer Woman. It’s like a gigantic hug and it’s all authentic, amazing and needed! I’m so happy to support this amazing neighborhood restaurant. Ditch the chains and stop by ... you will leave with a smile on your face and in your belly.“
“Since the '80s, I've been hooked on this gem of a spot! Nestled where Tin Roof stands now, this family-owned eatery is an absolute treasure. From their mouthwatering pizzas to the top-notch service, it's a local joint that's etched in the city's heart. The portions? Oh, they're so worth the price - a delicious steal, if you ask me! If you're hunting for a hidden culinary gem in the city of Trees, this place is an absolute jackpot.“
“Excellent pizza with very interesting specialty pizza menu. Godfather pizza was fantastic and also probably the best gluten free pizza in town.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free pizza. Not sure if it’s made in house but a nice change from the frozen / stale crust most places use.“
“Located just down the street from the hotel where I stay when I'm in Boise so it was very convenient for me. The place was busy at the dinner hour 5-6pm on a Saturday. I picked a booth off in the corner, Table 209 and my server was Micailey M. My amicable server was totally knowledgeable of the products and unobtrusive (i dislike servers checking up on me too often). I thought that because I was seated there that I would be overlooked and I was hangry. So, my server took my order. Got my cold double IPA craft brew in a few minutes. About 10 minutes later I got my fresh hot pie that was super tasty. I recommend a half and half. I had the Bubba and the other half was Sausage and Peppers. Oh so good! The atmosphere had a really nice chill vibe with red and white checkered table cloths, piped in music was just the right volume for pizza and brews crowd. Out front, there's a big red bench for taking pics. I'll be back!“
“best NY style pizza i've ever had! their veggie pizza is fantastic. super simple menu, but sometimes that's all you need! not every restaurant needs a huge flashy menu, you know? i took one star off because some of the staff seem annoyed with having to serve customers, or they seem bored, or like they generally just don't want to be there. but that doesn't hinder my experience here because nobody's ever rude or mean--just bored. great little pizza joint downtown, and great prices!!!“
“We LOVE The Stuffed Olive (affectionately called “TSO” for short). It’s a cozy, little Italian restaurant serving some of the best food out there! Everything on the menu is chef’s kiss delicious. You cannot go wrong with any of the soups, salads, sandwiches, or pasta dishes. It is alllllllll delectable! For starters, do yourself a kindness and order a plate of the parmesan fries. Most people will suggest getting it with fry sauce, but, just so you know, they also have the good ranch. All sauces are made in-house including their Caesar salad dressing, which they make the traditional way (with anchovies). You’re welcome.TSO’s Alfredo sauce is amazing. I slept on their Alfredo menu items for months because I just assumed it would all taste similar to the stuff I’ve picked up in the freezer section. Bah! How wrong I was!!! Bless my husband for ordering TSO’s Alfredo time and time again. I finally took a bite off his plate and life hasn’t been the same since that moment. Their Alfredo is melt-in-your-mouth transformative. I can never go back to freezer Alfredo again. I’m spoiled by the good stuff at TSO.The parmigiana chicken is also incredible!! I love the way they bread their chicken. It is so CRUNCHY.Everything on the menu truly is awesome, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find another Italian food spot that matches the taste and quality produced by TSO. If you’re a regular at TSO, then you already know!! For newcomers reading this review, call TSO and make that reservation! Take the day off from cooking and allow TSO to do the heavy lifting.**Seriously, though, make a resy. Do not attempt to just walk in and get a table, because it will likely not happen and you will be sad. The place fills up faaaast!TSO is family-owned and operated. Additionally, everyone on staff has been working there literally for YEARS. I do not use the word literally lightly. Great food aside, the staff has won our hearts! Every time we go to TSO, it feels like we are dropping in on some of our favorite relatives. Everyone is kind and welcoming and accommodating. They work hard to ensure their guests, the customers, have a solid dining experience. I cannot recommend this place enough.Come and see for yourself why The Stuffed Olive gets all our love!“
“Order was done right on time. Front man definitely looked like a fellow pizza man and had a smile on his face. Everything was cooked perfect, not too undercooked and not overcooked. Despite the few bad reviews I saw, we definitely enjoyed it.“
“Stopped in to grab lunch since I've heard great things. The House Ruben was pretty good. I'll be back to try a different sandwich soon.My only real complaint is the lack of wheelchair accessibility. Upon entering, the entry is cluttered with a bench and miscellaneous junk. Once inside, the path to the counter is extremely narrow and there are piles of excess product blocking the path even further. I knocked over a stack of boxes by accident and another customer had to pick them up. The booths are so close together, I couldn't park at any of them, and the other tables are too close together and too high. There is a short table crammed in the back by the soda machine, but even that was blocking what I assume to be beer taps and a deli case? So, I would be in the way. I had to get my order to go and eat at my desk at work. The whole restaurant could use a DEEP clean, and a rearrange.Wheelchair accessibility: Not Wheelchair friendly. Yes, you can get in the door, but after that good luck.“
“I had twenty family members coming to town for the in-URN-ment of mother's ashes up at Dry Creek Cemetery so I reserved a private room at Louie's for a family-style meal. It was absolutely perfect in every way: wonderful service (thanks Maddie and her crew!), great vegetarian meal, easy accommodation of my husband's gluten free diet, and nearly four hours of visiting time. I absolutely recommend Louie's for special occasions and regular dining too. (And I found out they sell quarts of their marinara sauce too. I'm definitely getting some of that!)“
“GREAT experience. We had a big family group visiting. We went to davincis for a couple drinks after dinner, but were hesitant because the bar seemed smaller and we didnt want to cause a scene. They welcomed us in with open arms, and the young lady that served us was a saint. Was laughing and smiling getting us everything we need even though I know we were louder and a big party. I felt bad, but instead of turning it into negative energy, your employees really just joined us and made us feel so welcomed! Me and my lady will 100% be back after fam leaves town. Appreciate you guys putting up such an amazing atmosphere.“
“I recently dined at this fantastic establishment, and it exceeded all expectations. The ambiance is inviting, with a cozy yet modern vibe that sets the perfect tone for a delightful meal. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff making the experience truly enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the pizza. Each bite was a flavor explosion, from the perfectly crispy crust to the mouthwatering toppings. A definite 5-star experience that leaves me eager to return for more“
“Recent stop here for lunch (February 2024)... First visit to an Olive Garden in nearly 20 years. Wasn't disappointed. This establishment has it dialed in. Plenty of parking, lots of staff on hand and extremely friendly. Service was quick, food was great. We had the all you can eat soup and salad. Couldn't have asked for a better lunch experience. Would recommend and would return.“
“Ordered room service for breakfast and their egg sandwich is MASSIVE. It was really good, the bread was a bit thick but overall it was good, the bacon is a bit overpriced for what it is. I can't speak to the ambiance, but I've heard the restaurant is really nice“
“I stopped in for a late lunch to celebrate my best friend's birthday this week. It was our first time in! We had heard great things about the garden lasagna and shared this as well as the scallops appetizer. Everything was AMAZING! We had to finish with the Frazier cake after seeing a video of it on Instagram and Makena was so sweet and surprised us with a candle to help celebrate. We will absolutely be back! Thank you!!!“
“The food was so good! I should say still good! I used to come here as a kid with my sister and my stepmom. Obviously now I can enjoy the cocktails as it’s been over 20 years. The Italian sandwich (the Papa Joe) was just incredible! Nods to Chef Mike! Patrick, our host/bartender/waiter/etc was just awesome! I can’t wait to come back with friends and family!“
“I ordered the insalata Napoli! The food was absolutely fantastic! I sat at the bar top and felt instantly welcomed and comfortable! Everyone, from the cook, Trevor, all the way down to the servers Amberlei, Justin and Chris, were nothing but kind and incredibly hard working, the place was busy!! Everyone kept it moving with grace and stellar customer service! I’ll definitely be back and next time I’ll bring friends!!“
“We showed up the week before Christmas and things we slow. They were closing up and open back up just to feed our family. It was our first time in. We loved the food. We have been looking forward to the next time we are in the area to visit again.“
“After having a disappointing meal at Kona, we came to Bodovino to get some more food. I love this place - our daughter was able to play in the playground as we sat outside and drank a beer. Also, with Christmas around the corner, we were able to see some epic wipeouts on the ice skating rink. While Bodovino is known for wine, I'm not a wine drinker. I had a local double IPA and my wife had the mulled wine drink - both were awesome. The food menu was great. My daughter loved her butter noodles and the pasta we split was good as well. The service was also great. We will be back for sure!“
“This is a go-to place every time someone is in town. The pizza is wonderful, and the staff are amazing. It's pretty busy, and sometimes you have to wait, but it is always worth it. The moral of the story is that Smoky Mountain is always worth a visit, and in the family's opinion, is a great pizzeria.“
“Definitely the best pastrami I've ever had. The owner us also super bad add and I've only been their two times literally the last two days. I will probably be going back this weekend. Gotta get the number 11 the God father. I want to try others but this one is too good ?. The atmosphere really makes me feel like I'm with the God father. Also it's newyork style instead of that chicago soggy sandwich. My cousin said he loves that man's sausage ? ?“
