“The B29 is always a great place! We love the food and service as well the cocktails and wine selection. It was a no brainer for my wife and I to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary there. We arrived at our table there was a card signed by every staff member wishing us a happy anniversary. Several times a staff person stopped at our table to personally wish us well ... it made the evening special. Chris was our server he's always fantastic and very personable. We both had the filet mignon with garlic augratin potatoes ... I highly recommend this dish. Thank you Brick 29 for the great memory.“
“Went to the Tower Grill for the first time for dinner. We had heard good things about the restaurant and figured we would give it a shot. I do not get excited about food and I am in no way a “foodie”, but I was not expecting the quality of food, service and atmosphere that we received while dining. This place is a diamond in the rough. The service from start to finish was family oriented with extremely friendly staff who made sure our food was served and drinks remained filled. The staff all work together and walk around making sure you have everything you need. I’ve never seen anything like it. The food was high end restaurant quality and prepared and plated in a way you forgot you were at an “airport grill”. The interior was decorated with airplane parts and warplane photos which added to the charm. They have an outdoor patio that allows you to watch the planes take off and land while you eat. The interior is smaller so you might have to wait, but it is well worth it. I cannot recommend the Tower Grill enough and look forward to trying their breakfast and lunch as well.Kid-friendliness: This place is great for kids. There are plane parts, pictures and a balcony to watch the planes while you eat.“
“We've had the Poutine appetizer twice here and it's good. I'd personally like more gravy on it but that's because they make it that way in Canada, where I first tried Poutine. For dinner I had the Chicken Alfredo... It was really good! Probably one of the better ones I've tried. My husband had the Turkey Club, and while he liked it, he said the pesto overwhelmed the flavor. We will be back again to try more items on the menu.Kid-friendliness: They have fries and burgers.“
“My family and I went to eat here on a Sunday evening for an early dinner. I highly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. This seems to be a popular place. We went around 4-5pm. As the evening goes on, it becomes busier, and it was nice to enjoy the quieter setting before things pick up. Their wait staff are attentive and kind. They work hard and make sure you are taken care of without over bugging you! The style of the restaurant is unique and clever, including artwork with cows, aliens, and a mix of farmhouse. The misfit and retro style seems to work for them. When the weather permits, they have a roll-up door in the front half of the restaurant that gives you a nice breeze of fresh air. I love their atmosphere. I had their Pineapple Express burger and fries. I 10/10 recommended this burger (personally I take off the mustard aioli or have it on the side)! This burger has so much flavor between the burger, ham, pineapple, and I like it with the pickles. Perfect hidden gem for Nampa!“
“We went during a slow time, around 3pm or so, but my only problem was that the booth we chose to sit in had a horribly dirty seat that I wouldn't sit on even in jeans. I know it's not a big deal and I'm sure that they would have wiped it down if I had asked. Definitely something I would normally do, but on this day I just picked a different booth and forgot about it, mostly.“
“Had hotcakes, eggs, and potatoes. All were a bit over average. Eggs were perfect. The potatoes are called factory potatoes. I was afraid to get them from the factory instead of the farm, but they were good. They are like breakfast potatoes.“
“Love this place. Great service and great food. Nice prices!Vegetarian options: They have side vegetable options.Dietary restrictions: They have a bit of everything.Parking: On the front and some spaces on the back side as well.Kid-friendliness: Fine for kids“
“Came in for a afterwork meeting with co-workers and we cannot thank Maddie enough. If you're looking for top-notch service and a positive experience, I highly recommend seeking out Maddie's assistance. She is truly exceptional at what she does. Thank you, Maddie!“
“It's a little noisy but in a fun way. Boot scooting staff help make smiles! The steaks were magnificent, cooked to perfection ?. Like I said, if you want a quiet conversation dinner maybe ask for a corner booth. We'll worth it.“
“Friendly atmosphere! Lots of games to play, including 2 pool tables! The owner, Terry, has been present to both our trips here, she’s WONDERFUL!!! The food… the food is actually fantastic. We recommend the chicken tenders… they’re full on breasts fried to perfection. The tots were fantastic! And the honey mustard ?. We got some breakfast too, very good. I’m telling you, you could do dinner and drinks here easily be happy and enjoy a great environment. They have karaoke and games throughout the week. The bartenders generally have been attentive and friendly. The patrons seem to be a healthy mix of regulars and others, but everyone’s nice (the Idaho way!).Overall 10/10 and most honestly thanks to Terry who has been welcoming and genuine throughout. Don’t sleep on the food!!!Always a reasonable (very! In 2024!) tab, and oh a fair amount of beers on tap.“
“My first experience at Freddy's was just by ordering chocolate custard and those yummy fries with my kids... WOW!!I knew right then I wanted to try the burgers next! The next day I ate a double cheese burger with fries and now I'm hooked! Why did it take me so long to discover Freddy's??? I love the cube steak burger patties!!!The young man at the window that day was super nice too so kudos to you Freddy's! I'll certainly be back...“
“A Five-Star Frontier Feast at Jak's Neighborhood GrillAs I sauntered into Jak's Neighborhood Grill, the dust of a long journey clinging to my boots, I felt like I had just hitched my horse and buckboard after traversing the rugged terrains of Wyoming and Colorado. With 40 miles of dirt and adventure packed under my hat, I made quite the entrance, kicking off the remnants of the trail and smacking my hat on the table, sending a cloud of the Wild West swirling around me.The moment I stepped in, Karen, the embodiment of hospitality, greeted us with a twinkle in her eye. Before we could even utter a word, she was stirring up some drinks and sliding them down the bar with the precision of a seasoned gunslinger. My throat, parched from the dusty trails, welcomed the refreshment like a desert greets the rain. The ambiance of Jak's is something right out of a tale of the frontier—rustic, warm, and inviting, a place where stories of the trail are exchanged over hearty meals. We ordered some grub—sliders with onions, fried to perfection, the aroma teasing our senses and promising a feast. Then came the main event: a beef burger that seemed to have captured the essence of the plains. It was tossed onto a bun with the care of a chuckwagon cook who knows the value of a good meal to a weary traveler. I slammed it down in minutes flat, my hunger devilishly quenched by the mighty fine flavors that danced across my taste buds.Jak's Neighborhood Grill isn't just a restaurant; it's a journey back in time to when meals were a moment to gather, share tales, and satisfy the soul. If you find yourself yearning for a taste of the Wild West, hitch your wagon and head over to Jak's. It's an oasis of flavor in the vast culinary desert, a place where every meal feels like a feast after a long day on the trail. Five stars to Jak's, for not just feeding the body, but nourishing the spirit of adventure in us all.Kid-friendliness: Family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: No stairs and plenty of room.“
“I had the pleasure of working alongside H&M yesterday at a wedding and I was so pleased, the staff is super friendly and helpful and so easy to work with and the food tasted AMAZING! I was especially impressed by the fact that they were able to keep the food fresh and hot, seconds were offered AND the couple had lots of leftovers to take home! That’s awesome! Not only would I recommend them to my clients but I’m convinced I need them to cater my own vow renewal! Thank you so much for the yummy food and the wonderful experience!“
“First time visitors tonight. My husband had a double burger, I had a single. Bun is toasted and buttered. Juicy sloppy burger ?, very tasty. Had a side salad. Will try the fries next time. Husband had 2 Bloody Mary's and said that they were the best he's had in years. High quality beef used. Took a little longer to get order bc the patties are fairly thick so they take a little longer to cook. Very friendly manager and waitstaff.“
“This is simply a great buffet. Many options. Great service in both English and Spanish. Very clean. Food tastes and looks fresh. Very good buffet…What more can I say?Vegetarian options: Salad bar and dessertsKid-friendliness: Many kids-friendly options and servers are quick to clean up any mess your kiddos might make“
“LOVE Sully's! We've been going to Sully's for about 2 years now and it's our favorite restaurant in town. The food is consistently great. If you've never had their spinach dip appetizer, do yourself a favor and order it, it's delicious! All of the entrees are great and their desserts are awesome too. We've always had great service and the servers are super friendly.“
“Literally love coming here when it’s slower at night. One of the few places open later on weekdays. The bartender is so accommodating and kind, giving my husband the 3 cokes and 1 shot of rum to split between his drinks for his rum and coke. She always is so sweet to me as well!“
“Tucked away in a town that has grown beyond its humble beginnings, the Little Burger Shack remains a beacon of nostalgia and uncomplicated delight. With no pretense of grandeur, this establishment welcomes its patrons into a world where quality and care are paramount. It's immediately clear that this isn't just another fast-food joint; it's a place where every burger tells a story of dedication. The menu, albeit a tad confusing at first glance, is a testament to the Shack's commitment to providing a memorable dining experience. The star of the show is undoubtedly the burger topped with succulent mushrooms, a dish that harmonizes simplicity with depth of flavor. Side options like crispy onion rings, golden tater tots, and fries served with a signature sauce complement the main dish, elevating the meal to a culinary adventure. The selection of Coca-Cola products rounds out the offerings, ensuring that there's something for every palate.Despite its modest appearance, the Little Burger Shack stands out for its ability to transport its visitors back to a simpler time. It's a place where the food speaks louder than words, promising a journey back to the roots of hometown dining. For anyone yearning for that classic small-town burger joint experience, look no further.
