“This place is a hidden gem and one of the best fast food Mexican restaurants in the Treasure Valley. We had a mix of burritos, nachos, fajitas and everything tasted excellent and very authentic. It also was super clean and the staff was very friendly. Will now become part of the weekly rotation. P.S. the red sauce is delish but very hot!“
“Went to this Jack in the box while I was in Caldwell Idaho visiting my parents for Christmas. It was one of very few places open that night and the service was so fast it seemed like we had ordered our food and then went to pick it up. The prices were great and once we got the food it was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the few extra pounds I probably gained from all the food I ordered and ate. The staff was very friendly and thorough. They repeated my order to me and explained any questions I had .“
“This was my mama’s favorite place to eat i would come here every Saturday to get her a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings and a fry’s my mama is passed away. But we will forever go and eat here our family loves the food and the staff very friendly and kind people. See yall soon!!“
“My family and I went to eat here on a Sunday evening for an early dinner. I highly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. This seems to be a popular place. We went around 4-5pm. As the evening goes on, it becomes busier, and it was nice to enjoy the quieter setting before things pick up. Their wait staff are attentive and kind. They work hard and make sure you are taken care of without over bugging you! The style of the restaurant is unique and clever, including artwork with cows, aliens, and a mix of farmhouse. The misfit and retro style seems to work for them. When the weather permits, they have a roll-up door in the front half of the restaurant that gives you a nice breeze of fresh air. I love their atmosphere. I had their Pineapple Express burger and fries. I 10/10 recommended this burger (personally I take off the mustard aioli or have it on the side)! This burger has so much flavor between the burger, ham, pineapple, and I like it with the pickles. Perfect hidden gem for Nampa!“
“Love this place. Great service and great food. Nice prices!Vegetarian options: They have side vegetable options.Dietary restrictions: They have a bit of everything.Parking: On the front and some spaces on the back side as well.Kid-friendliness: Fine for kids“
“I've stopped by here twice since we moved to Caldwell. Both times my burger was very good. The char flavor is excellent and everything is fresh and tasty. If they had indoor seating they'd be 5 stars in my book. I'll definitely be returning again.“
“A Five-Star Frontier Feast at Jak's Neighborhood GrillAs I sauntered into Jak's Neighborhood Grill, the dust of a long journey clinging to my boots, I felt like I had just hitched my horse and buckboard after traversing the rugged terrains of Wyoming and Colorado. With 40 miles of dirt and adventure packed under my hat, I made quite the entrance, kicking off the remnants of the trail and smacking my hat on the table, sending a cloud of the Wild West swirling around me.The moment I stepped in, Karen, the embodiment of hospitality, greeted us with a twinkle in her eye. Before we could even utter a word, she was stirring up some drinks and sliding them down the bar with the precision of a seasoned gunslinger. My throat, parched from the dusty trails, welcomed the refreshment like a desert greets the rain. The ambiance of Jak's is something right out of a tale of the frontier—rustic, warm, and inviting, a place where stories of the trail are exchanged over hearty meals. We ordered some grub—sliders with onions, fried to perfection, the aroma teasing our senses and promising a feast. Then came the main event: a beef burger that seemed to have captured the essence of the plains. It was tossed onto a bun with the care of a chuckwagon cook who knows the value of a good meal to a weary traveler. I slammed it down in minutes flat, my hunger devilishly quenched by the mighty fine flavors that danced across my taste buds.Jak's Neighborhood Grill isn't just a restaurant; it's a journey back in time to when meals were a moment to gather, share tales, and satisfy the soul. If you find yourself yearning for a taste of the Wild West, hitch your wagon and head over to Jak's. It's an oasis of flavor in the vast culinary desert, a place where every meal feels like a feast after a long day on the trail. Five stars to Jak's, for not just feeding the body, but nourishing the spirit of adventure in us all.Kid-friendliness: Family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: No stairs and plenty of room.“
“My time here was amazing. Even though they were extremely busy they still had time to take our order and get our food too us very fast. Nyah, our server was amazing and very helpful. Definitely some of the best food i’ve had in a while. If you are thinking about coming here i think you should.Kid-friendliness: had a chair for my baby“
“First time visitors tonight. My husband had a double burger, I had a single. Bun is toasted and buttered. Juicy sloppy burger ?, very tasty. Had a side salad. Will try the fries next time. Husband had 2 Bloody Mary's and said that they were the best he's had in years. High quality beef used. Took a little longer to get order bc the patties are fairly thick so they take a little longer to cook. Very friendly manager and waitstaff.“
“Ordered the halibut sandwich. I've tried just about every fast food fish sandwich in Nampa during Lent. This was far and away the best of all of them. It's halibut, and the only other place with a halibut sandwich charges $3 more for a lower quality sandwich. Outstanding, BB.“
“Nice facility for family gatherings. Big parking lot, off i84 so easy access to building and friendly staff. The restaurant is open 11am to 8pm and they have a full bar. Elk membership cost $100.00 a year and they provide discounts for renting the meeting rooms (they have 1 large room (300 people) and 2 smaller meeting rooms). The bar is open to members only but the public is welcome to visit the restaurant.“
“My wife and I are truck drivers and finding a good place to eat is difficult. We found this place by accident but will definitely be returning. We had breakfast. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the sausage patties were fantastic and the large pancakes can't be beat. Highly recommend.“
“Wow! WHY did it take me so long to try a burger at Five Guys? I don't know, but it's something I will repeat again and again! The burgers here are AMAZING--where you can choose your add-ons, including grilled mushrooms! (never had that as a choice with a burger) We also ordered a large fry. Not only was the cup filled to the brim, but they dumped lots more in the bag with our order! :)“
“this Carl's in Nampa by Winco. we use to go to the one on 10th Ave. Caldwell. I would have never guessed there would be a difference. but there is. Debra the manager is top notch. she remembers me from years back. I can recommend this Carl's Jr.“
“Dining at The Habit offers a mixed bag of experiences, ranging from the sublime taste of their food to the slightly overpriced menu items, yet overall, it provides a fulfilling and comfortable dining experience. Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the restaurant immediately stands out. It’s refreshing to walk into a fast-food establishment and find not just the dining area but also the restrooms in immaculate condition. This attention to cleanliness sets a welcoming tone, making it a pleasant place for families, friends, or even solo visitors looking to enjoy a good meal.Accessibility is another commendable aspect of The Habit. The restaurant is thoughtfully designed to be handicap accessible, ensuring everyone, regardless of physical ability, can enjoy their dining experience without hassle. This inclusivity is a significant plus, reflecting the brand’s commitment to serving a wide array of customers. The outdoor dining option adds a nice touch, especially in good weather, providing a delightful ambiance for those who prefer the fresh air while they eat. However, the parking lot situation does detract from the overall experience. Its small size and congested nature can be a source of frustration, potentially dampening the mood before one even steps inside.Food quality at The Habit is where the restaurant truly shines. The menu, although slightly overpriced, offers a range of delicious options that justify the extra dollars. Today, I had the Santa Barbara with an Impossible patty, alongside two Impossible burgers and some 'green green' fries. The Impossible patty was cooked to perfection, offering a succulent, meat-like flavor that could easily fool the most discerning carnivores, while maintaining a healthier profile. The 'green green' fries were a delightful side, adding a unique twist to the classic French fry.Despite the high marks on food quality and restaurant cleanliness, the pricing does make one pause. While understanding that higher-quality ingredients often come with a higher cost, The Habit walks a fine line in balancing cost with consumer expectation. In conclusion, The Habit provides a mostly positive dining experience. From its clean and accessible premises to its high-quality, albeit slightly pricey menu items, it's a place worth visiting for those looking for a cut above the typical fast-food experience. The small and congested parking might be a minor inconvenience, but once you're inside and enjoying your meal, it's easy to overlook.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger is excellent.“
“'Best Hamburger in Idaho' , The Sign in Their Window says . . .And They Were, 1,000% Correct!I've Been Searching For The Perfect Cheeseburger For The Past 8½ Yrs I've Lived Here(That I Didn't Make Myself)& Ive Finally Found It!Too Bad It's So Far Away From, The V/X“
“Portions were good, fresh ingredients, tasted is really good. I love the sauce assortment. For me personally I like my burgers a little more on the rare side. These are well done. The place was crowded and food was served pretty fast for made to order. My biggest issue is cleanliness. They really need some TLC. Be careful leaving, my wife is blind in one eye and didn't see the curb immediately out the door and fell. They really need hand rails. All said and done, I'll go back.“
“WOW. Not only impressed with the great service, entertainment, atmosphere, pricing..., but the FOOD! Exceeded our expectations!! The BLT, Baja burger, fry sauce... seriously, outstanding! We will be back and bringing friends/family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room.“
