“Just a fun place and great food with fantastic people. I love the veggie sandwich. I'm not vegetarian but it's just so good. The iced tea is always fresh. The portions are huge. I have not ever finished- I always have a ton left for my next meal. They are also amazing for the community. One of my favorite places to eat.“

“I love City Beach Organics. It is the best place in Sandpoint for a healthy meal. I love how they make vegan and vegetarian meals so tasty! I’m obsessed with the garlic curry walnuts. My favorites- vegan curry melt, vegan Italian melt, Schweitzer sunset juice and the green grazer. I also enjoy the coffee here! It’s easy to call ahead and order for pick up or enjoy the dining room and look out at the mountains. Service is helpful and nice. I feel like everyone is very easy going and really appreciates your business.“

“Best ice cream around, by a long shot. If there is a line it is worth the wait. All of their ice cream is great, but the huckleberry is particulary delicious. And if they have waffle cones available you definitely don't want to miss out on those.“

“So glad these guys are still slinging piled high pizzas! Use to go when we were kids all the time. Still delicious ?I had to drive over two hours to get home, they were very helpful in accommodating me and telling me about their par-bake/bake at home pizzas. Gave me written directions. Pizza crust is a thicker, breadier crust, but not deep dish. Tons of toppings to choose. Ingredients looked fresh and kitchen looked clean from what I could see. The dining area is a little tired looking, but I loved the stained glass accents. Obviously been around awhile. Yay!My oven runs hot, so I did 26 minutes at 420. They came out perfect! Well, our build-your-own cheese over flowed a little bit. But easy fix. Very good. Beer while waiting was cold.Did not get a chance to check out bathrooms.Vegetarian options: Load up those veggies!“

“We have been here several times over the years, and the food has always been good. The variety and quality of soups and sandwiches they have is what brings us back. Their bread is amazing! And, the view is good, especially in the summer when the lake is full.“

“A wonderful place with great food! Very casual, and lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The Poppers (while not on the menu) are one of my favorite things to get, as a side or 2 orders for a meal! Staff is very friendly and happy to help with anything. 10/10 restaurant!“

“We had a late breakfast here yesterday. The woman and her kids? Were super sweet they weren't busy so she offered suggestions. The shop is so cute I absolutely enjoyed my visit. You can feel the love and pride that was put into this place. The bagels here are good, soft, and fresh. I ordered the best part of waking up with an everything bagel and the long bridge with a sesame bagel they were good but honestly they were missing something... I dont know if it is I feel the bagel should of been toasted or maybe just a little salt and pepper but it was missing something. It wasn't the ingredients they were good and fresh. I have to say though I would go back try something else or just get some bagels and schmear.“
“Captain's Table has been around for years and is always a good time when you stop by. This Lake Pend Oreille staple serves elevated bar food with quality ingredients. Highly recommend a cheese burger, a patty melt or the taco salad. The salad dressings are homemade along with the chips for the taco salad. You can standard bar drinks and beer on tap. The owner, Mary, is a firecracker and provides excellent service, even when understaffed. Besides grabbing a bite of food or a drink, come in to play a round of pool and your favorite song on the jukebox.“

“I was very happy with this place. Ephraim was Employee of the Month. Grow the mullet back my man. Great Asian bowl, Breakfast Bagel. Had a smoothie as well. We left full and satisfied. Happy to have had a delicious breakfast. Pricey but very good.“
“-Updated Review- When this place first opened, it was very disappointing... The update - it's great now!!! I cautiously went back because a friend wanted to meet there.Apparently they have new owners. Food is SO good!!! Service and atmosphere is great as well. And the beer is good!! This place is definitely on my list of places to go when I'm in Sandpoint!!“

“I laughed at the description Google has for the establishment because in trying to formulate an opening line for my review it is PRECISELY what I was going to say..."Airy microbrewery serving craft beers & refined bar eats in laid-back digs with sports on TV."The building is stately and historic feeling (becasue it is...former city Post Office.) You walk up two flights of concrete stairs to get inside, which may not be optimal for handicapped folks but is worth the effort, to be greeted by a very light and open feeling main dining hall that is literally highlighted by huge East facing windows streaming in daylight (sunlight if the weather is favorable.) This, combined with the high celings, gives the whole room a very light and 'airy' feel which is quite pleasant.Tables are spaced out nicely and placed naturally across the room to allow for some privacy while eating. We counted three large screen TV's playing the sportsball of the moment but didn't really see anyone watching. Might be different during playoffs, etc but this place really doesn't present itself as a sports-bar anyway. We had the Reuban and the Cubano sandwiches and a couple of their IPA's (Lubaluscious and NOHO) and everything was excellent. Both sammy's wre bursting with flavor and generously sized and the crispy, salty shoestring house fries complimented the main course. We live about an hour away down near CDA but often visit Sandpoint. We'll be adding MickDuff's to our regular lunch stops from now on!“

“Di lunas is an experience. Often I find myself pacing through my next event of life. Until I step into the doors of my favorite bistro, and am met with the kindest and most friendly of people. In a space full of conversations, I’m always met with a happily memorable dish. They never disappoint in the kitchen, and always locally sourced! I will forever and always be a Dilunatic“

“We had bacon cheese burgers, and they were great! The burger was very tasty, and the bacon was amazing! I would have given a "5 ☆" as the location and food were great. All burgers come with fries... what I didn't see is that the fries are an additional charge. Our bill came to $39 for 2 burgers and no beverages. The hamburgers were $13.99, or around that amount. I was very surprised that our total came to $39!“

“Beet and Basil is a very special flavor factory that proves a heavily vegetarian menu can impress any pallette! Get the "banh mi" sandwich to enjoy a perfectly crusty, yet chewy baguette with chicken (or tofu...but why?), fresh herbs, crisp vegetables accompanied with blasts of Asian flavors from a mix of three different soy sauces. My vegetarian spouse vouches for the herbed and delicately sweet "curry and naan" as a definite repeat purchase! Thank you, Beet and Basil crew, for being a bastion for adventurous and well-executed dishes and service! We will be back for more! (We won't tell anybody about how good the "lavender cheesecake" was because we don't want other customers to hog our share!)Vegetarian options: Excellent variety of vegetarian options. A few vegetarian options can be made vegan.“
