“we've been to this location many times without a negative experience. tonight we ordered onion rings, we've loved them on prior visits. upon arrival at our table it was very obvious they were WAY overcooked. we normally scarf them down because they're so good.we ate 2 of them but left the rest. we mentioned it to waiter when he asked if we were ready for our check and he said, "ya those are way overcooked ". He shouldn't have served them in the first place. 10% was taken from total bill but should have been 100% deducted. very disappointing. 1/2 the fatty part of my bacon wasn't cooked! had to pull it off!”

“I tried Houston Hot Chicken at a Spokane location last year and wasn’t blown away. Granted, it was partly my fault since I got the loaded fries and didn’t ask if there were pickles in the mix. Needless to say, there were and they were everywhere; I hate pickles. However, I decided to give the chain one more try at this new location, going in and taking a different direction, choosing the Southwest Salad and the Chicken Tortilla soup. I’ll just say that sometimes, second chances are worth it.

Both were beyond delicious. I was especially impressed with the soup. Soup from a fast food chain is usually just reheated, watered-down slop. However, as Chicken Tortilla is my favorite variety, I had to give it a whirl and it was beyond amazing! Seasoned well, rich, with a good amount of chicken, veggies, and tortilla strips in it. Is it the best tortilla soup ever? No, homemade is always preferable and many sit-down joints do it better, but for a fast-service chain, this could be the best soup I’ve ever had — period. I will enjoy it again, especially when the weather cools or I’m feeling ill. Highly recommended.

The salad was solid too. They actually give you a sizable amount of chicken. The dressing that accompanies it pairs well, and the lettuce was fresh. It wasn’t ornate, but when the chicken is cooked and spiced well, you want it to shine and it did! A good mix of everything and served attractively.

The service was friendly, the place was spotless, and the food came out promptly. I dropped one star from atmosphere just because it’s that same built-from-a-box style of construction that everything is going towards these days; you can’t match the feel of an archaic Mexican restaurant from the eighties. Still, what truly mattered was spot-on and I will frequent the establishment again.”

“Honestly one of my favorite coffee stands! Delicious espresso, that never tastes bitter or burnt, their burritos are top tier, and the bagels are just as good! They have pretty much any flavor syrups and sauces you can think of, and great bagel topping options! Incredibly affordable, punch cards are great too! The ladies are super sweet as well. Highly recommend you give this place a try!!”

Yesterday, I asked them to modify a bowl. Not too complicated just no berries or chocolate drizzle. They had to remake it 3 times. I felt terrible, but they were all very polite and apologetic. They served a delicious bowl in the end and I will continue to support them. The quality is above all.”

“My wife and I just moved to Spokane and wanted to do some swing dancing. NN offers a class that starts at 7:30 - Fridays are line dancing and Saturday is country swing. It's 10$ a person but the cover charge is waived if you go to the class. They've got a Mexican style food truck out back too that was great! We got 4 street Tacos for 13$. This place just had a great vibe all around. The staff was kind, the drinks were fairly priced, and there were all different kinds of folks out on the dance floor which was nice to see. It was all around very welcoming and we had a blast. We will definitely be back!”
