“Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“
“The brunch was all you can eat, which isn't bad for $35, but the selection was a little lacking (for my taste). Having more charcuterie type options would be better (and string cheese isn't something anyone wants to see at a brunch buffet). The omelet & waffles were great (per those at the table who got them). Something I would caution anyone reading this on, is that in the bakery - they charge a 10% surcharge on all bakery items, whether you “dine in” or not. I wasn't thrilled about that.“
“It was a long wait but we planned ahead and joined the wait list while driving (we had to drive an hour and a half to get to the closest location) but it was worth it! Staff was friendly and the food was fantastic! Atmosphere was clean. They were fast when we got to our table. So many options!Dietary restrictions: We can't have certain spices due to my Crohn's disease and other health restrictions.Kid-friendliness: Obviously we have a child under 12“
“Wow...the shrimp appetizer is pretty awesome! Completely blown away by the Ravioli w/ spinach and mushrooms!!! Both are dynamite...highly recommend them! Our server was the best too! She recommended the shrimp...very grateful for that recommendation! We'll definitely be back soon!!!“
“We had a great time here. The cocktail menu was different and has Indian touch to various standard American fare.Portions were good sized and spice levels are mild. We had to specify “spicy” to get spice level to a “normal” level. They have decent vegetarian choices. But I wish they had some creative choices for veg entrees too“
“Truly cannot say enough great things about Lucca & their staff. We love popping in for dinner, so much so, we chose to host my sister’s wedding shower here last weekend. From the initial planning with Sonia to the day of, we were blown away by the food, service and care we received. There is very little needed in terms of decoration [the space is beautiful as-is] and Sonia and her team did a wonderful job keeping everything running smoothly and on time. We even ended up needing to push our first course back by at least 15 minutes and they still didn’t skip a beat. Nothing felt rushed, behind schedule or off beat in any way. The entire staff was very gracious & accommodating.Did I mention the food? Everyone is still talking about it!10/10 recommend for any event. Quality, care, professionalism and service all remain top notch!Kid-friendliness: We had children at our event who enjoyed everything just as much as we did.“
“They were great working with us from setting up the date, the room and the menu. It could not have been more perfect. The staff was very professional and helpful. The food and wine was extraordinary. We even had a lot of food left to take home after the party. I would reccomend them to everybody! It made planning and the event so easy.“
“After experiencing the new one in Munster, I was in oakbrook and decided to try their BibibopI'm glad to say that the food was just as excellent as the Munster location and shows that the chain is enforcing quality standards to keep all of their restaurants to that same high standard.“
“My family and I came after an important religious ceremony. Although it was late, Sergio was attentive, friendly and provided excellent service! My parents are sometimes hard to please and they enjoyed themselves. We’ll be visiting again as a family!!“
“We came here to warm up and get a midday snack since we were in the area. We came an hour before closing and there were still plenty of baked goods available. There was also plenty of seating and it was clean inside. I had a blackberry brownie and a blueberry basil matcha latte. I typically dislike sweet drinks so I was hesitant to order the latte. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. I wish we came for lunch since there were intriguing menu items but we will be back if we are in the area!“
“It is great to find a vegan friendly restaurant so close to Elk Grove Village. Vegan shakes, chips, wraps, salads, desserts and cheesecake. Let me tell you what do the vegan chipotle in a spinach is my go to. Also great customer service.Vegetarian options: Clearly label vegan dishes“
“I decided to bring my better half out to dinner, and we couldn't have been in one of the best P.F. Changs And this place was the right choice. Isaac introduced himself. This guy was terrific, and you can tell when people love what they do. We asked questions about the menu, and he answered like he was the kitchen chef and bang, we ordered exactly and made the best decision and don't forget the dessert we decided to order the one with banana and the coconut ice cream it was one of the best deserts a must if you come here and my hat goes out to Isaac for excellent service.Love this place and highly recommendedParking: Plenty space“
“Wow Food! Wow Service by Liliana! Wow Atmosphere! We were in a rush to get to the DMV after a quick breakfast, and Egg Harbor delivered with the excellent service by Liliana! We were in and out (on a Tues. morning) within 35 minutes. Everything tasted great, coffee to go and take home containers were thought of in advance! However, we ate everything and didn't need the containers after all. Super clean restaurant with super employees! Thank you!“
“This place is a dream for vegan and non-vegan tea lovers alike! Been here twice and both times were perfect experiences. From the outstanding food and earth shattering tea, this place is Heaven. Our server Gilbert was so attentive and helpful. He and tea expert Julia were so great and full of knowledge and passion. Can’t wait to come back!“
“I was very impressed by Fire and Wine. It has a casual vibe. Obviously a local favorite. Each dish was excellent in taste and presentation. Service was great! Both the hostess and server were happy to share recommendations of their favorite dishes. We had the black pepper shrimp appetizer and the pizza bread for the tasty sauce!! We enjoyed our salads and entrees. We were too full for dessert! As we left, I was impressed at how clean the restaurant was- even after serving such a large crowd. Nice place. Good culture. Recommend!“
“All the best things about "hole in the wall" - we received prompt service, the food (taste) was great and the amount we were served was worth every penny. A true shame I live over 400 miles away and will most likely never eat here again. 100% recommend!!“
“Wonder gluten free bakery with a great selection from baked goodies and breads to heat and eat meals. They have a great pasta selection as well.Vegetarian options: There are several Vegan options availableDietary restrictions: There is a good selection of gluten free and dairy free options available.“
“We love this place and wish they were bigger and open longer. The people, food, hot and cold beverages, the breads and sweets, sandwiches and other goodies. Their products remind me of the bread and food my Grandma made in Poland. Words cannot describe how fresh and good everything is. We come here at least 1-2 times a week. This week it was for bread and a latte then yesterday for paczki and tea. Check this place out. The bread will melt in your mouth. Prices are beyond fair for what you get. Hands down the best best best bread and treats are here and no one compares.“
“I stopped by BlackBerry market on yesterday and the atmosphere was busy but flowed smoothly. The smell of coffee was invigorating and I got the drip coffee , a chocolate chip cookie, iced peppermint coffee and a raspberry lemon muffin!! Service was smooth and effective, the breakfast items were yummy and fresh!! The coffee of the coffee!! Strong yet tranquil!! Fresh drip is self serve!! Loved that! The iced peppermint coffee was just what I needed !! Let me say this.. after breakfast and coffee.. I came home cooked a full dinner and washed clothing and was done before 1pm! lol energy!!!! Definitely will go back and recommend!!“
“This place has special fish Fry during lent. This is a cute irsh brunch spot normally. They had a lot of st paddy's day themed things but I passed. The good. Coffee with actual cream not the pre package junk. Great coffee service as well though it would be nice to add this to the waiting area. The staff was great aaa all the way. The omelets was good, fairly fluffy and a good balance of fillings. The average The pancakes were good not great. I may try some specialty cakes next time. The bad Well good place equals wait time on the weekend. Not sure if that was real maple syrup, if it was it was not the best. The side of potatoes while generous, had little to no flavor. Had to salt and pepper the heck out of them, and just left them in the end.“
“This was our initial visit to Mike Dikta's restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed by both the establishment and the diverse offerings on their menu. Our entrees were deliciously satisfying, and the dessert was particularly enjoyable. I intend to return without hesitation.“
“Some of the best Thai food I have had in awhile. When I am sick, I want some spicy Thai herbs to knock out a virus and this restaurant delivered. Got Covid and all I craved was Thai food. It was soothing, comforting and made me feel better. Staff were so pleasant to work with on the phone and very accommodating. Driver respected my no contact delivery request. The Tom Khar soup was phenomenal - creamy, delicious and all the right spices. Green curry was soothing and smooth. Food was clean and fresh. It was so good I ordered from here 3 times in 1 week while I was sick because that is all I wanted. My sister is now hooked on this place because when she got sick I ordered her what I had and it made her feel better as well. Nothing like fresh comfort food that does not weigh heavy on you to make you feel better. Would recommend giving this restaurant a try.“
“Excellent choice for Restaurant week. You can't go wrong with the three course option or four. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. The spiced margarita was delicious. One suggestion- use Tajin instead of salt on the rim. This was our first time here. Looking forward to seeing the space during the summer. All of our guest enjoyed the night. See you soon.“
“Such an amazing place to eat! The ambience is impeccable, along with the food and drinks. I love that they offer herbal teas and actually serve them loose leaf in glass/stainless steel strainers. They're really paying attention to small details that make such a huge difference. The fact that they offer grass fed meat is so cool, it's hard to find places that are good price bit high quality. This was the perfect place to pick for our date. I got the grilled chicken sandwich... the flavor was phenomenal? my boyfriend got the avocado BLT burger and he said it was delicious! The only note we had was that the fries were cut super thick and some were slightly under cooked, but none were raw and they still tasted amazing, we just think they needed to be fried for another minute or two to be perfect✨ amazing service and just such a cute place. We'll definitely be coming back & recommending to others?“
“Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. They are serious about their libations and happy to share their knowledge. I really like this place. Good vibe and great drinks. Check it out. Not sure why some clown gave it two stars. But reading that review, it's the poster who is confused, not the establishment. Cheers!“
“I've had 2 cakes made by them and many trips with my teen to get no sugar added frozen yogurt. Both management and staff are helpful and accommodating (one cake order was really rushed - ?).You can take your order behind the building to the pond area (with fountain) that has "natural" stadium seating and a pavilion with benches and tables.Dietary restrictions: They do have 2 no sugar added options that they rotate frequently.Parking: The only problem with parking comes with the 3 nearby fitness businesses and people coming to those after work. When people aren't trying to CrossFit or Pilates their way through the evening, parking is just fine.“
“So right off the bat, if you like ham in plentiful supply, this is your spot. Pretty busy suburban joint, good for a variety of breakfast items. What I would recommend is anything with ham. I don't know if they have a pig farm in the back but these guys load your plate with ham to the point that white flags come out and pants get unzipped. I had the omelette (with ham, obviously). It was tasty - but the egg ratio to ham was too little. Next time I will, and would recommend the skillet with scrambled eggs. The omelette was super thin, where is the scrambled eggs that my friend had seem more proportional dish . Service was OK, not great. Coffee was not bad, also not great. Fresh squeezed orange juice is lights out though, so I would definitely recommend that. I will definitely go back, just a little bit wiser this time .“
“I've been here for breakfast before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was the first time I've eaten dinner at Peasino's. It was amazing! Everything we ordered was from the appetizer menu (3 spreads with bread, fish tacos, a delicious fig and prosciutto flatbread, and an order of street corn). We loved it all. Our server, Chris K., was charming and delightful. We will definitely be back and hopefully Chris will be working when we do. Go! You won't be disappointed.“
“Great nutritional food and serving size. The location is great for group or family meetings, seminars or coworking. We were referred to the location and was pleasantly impressed. We visited several locations with Team Attorneys Military Mediators Consultants on business.?? .Wheelchair accessibility: The location offers ADA accommodations is wonderful and necessary.“
“Fresh tasting food, chill music and ambiance, clean restaurant and they always have my order ready by the time I get there when I order in the app or a very short wait for in person orders. The staff and managers are always so pleasant, welcoming and personable, too!“
“Five of us sat at an ample round table placed at a corner window. We ordered a variety of dishes, from omelets to wraps to sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff was friendly and the owner was especially nice to us. It was the first time I had been to Egg'lectic Cafe, but not the last!“
“This was my first time trying Bibibop and I was glad they expanded their locations. Plenty of parking. It’s not far from the Woodfield Mall. Prices were very reasonable because you do get a ton of food for your meal plus the free miso soup. When you walk in, it’s like an Asian version of Chipotle/Subway/Poke Bros where you choose your ingredients in front of you. You choose the base, protein, toppings, and sauces. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and fast.“
“Great place for breakfast !- Ordered the Omega Skillet- Good ambiance.- Big portions and tasty food compared to the small price.- Big pastries variety at the entrance counter.- Can accommodate big groups too.- The staff came to our table often for the refills or to clear the table.- They serve a shortcake at the beginning of the service instead of bread like any other restaurant. (Big plus)“
“Wow. We were driving from Chicago to Lake Geneva and stopped for gas at a rest stop. Smallcakes had a table set up there amongst the fast food restaurants and boy am I glad lol. We bought 3 - red velvet, chocolate and banana cream. They are the best cupcakes we've ever had (and we eat a lot of cupcakes)! They are sooooo moist and not too sweet. The flavors are big. I love these cupcakes and will now order and have them shipped.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options“
“An excellent experience for our first visit!!! Plenty of parking, greeted immediately upon entering and guided to a booth. The menu has a HUGE amount of selections and large portions too!!! Can’t wait to try out more for future breakfast and lunch visits. Our waitress? Samantha was very attentive to our needs and checked on us several times during our visit. She did things for us that we normally have to request at other restaurants. A clean and inviting atmosphere!!! The owner is down to earth and knows what diners want. They are relatively new to the area, but I see a long term relationship. Try them and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!!!“
“I always enjoy everything I get from LCK. I started my weight loss journey back in 2018 when I met Shannon and I never thought I could adapt to this lifestyle. The first time I failed miserably, with her knowledge, support and food I'm now down 100 pounds.“
“NOTHING bundt CAKES are fabulous!!! We will get one of their Bundt cakes as a nice treat for an evening and have ordered their small Bundt cakes for parties. They have a number of flavors as well as a great gluten-free chocolate chip. Besides the rewards program, the staff is great, and they always have cakes available. If you’re looking for a little sweet treat, check it out. Check out the flyers in the mail for coupons including buy one get one free.“
“This company bakes amazing sprouted grain breads. The only issue I have with them is shipping to the west coast. The cost of shipping is too high IMHO. I wonder why they can't use USPS priority flat rate boxes. That'll be so much cheaper for some of us to be able to order regularly. I wanted to order some more but at almost $60 I'm unable to. I hope they can look into this issue. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a local business that carries these breads.“
“This place is a hidden gem. great food, great portions, great prices and great friendly staff. my roommate and my friend Heather told me about this place and I'm hooked and come here like 3 times a week to eat great breakfast and do homework. the prices are very affordable and I highly recommend this place. Yelp review 5 star.l ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Delighted to discover that the Gingko Restaurant is open in the evening for Illumination (holiday lights) events. After experiencing the light displays, we stopped for a meal.So many vegan and vegetarian choices on the menu. Other museums and venues could take a lesson from this! We ordered and enjoyed the Korean Stirfry. It was a little salty for me, but ample portions and reasonable prices. Served piping hot. Hot cider was delicious.Lots of seating in the clean dining area, including seats by the expansive windows overlooking the lights for the Illumination finale. That was a treat and a fun way to wrap up the evening. Our only issues were customer service focused. We had to ask for napkins and were given just two for meals that have a fair amount of juice. Also, we paid for my husband to have roasted vegetables added to his entree, but it looked just like mine in portion size. When I asked the server, he said he didn't know. No offer to check or to make it right. We were tired, so didn't press the point. But they will lose customers if this is a pattern.Note: As with most museums and cultural centers, the food venues are run by a different company, not by the Arboretum.Vegetarian options: Multiple choices for vegetarians and vegans, including hot sandwiches and entrees.“
“These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!“
“Somewhat quiet place to get a meal. Tried their shakshuka and was pleasantly surprised with how good it tasted. The staff were incredibly hospitable and were very helpful with answering questions. Their house made jam was also amazing and went really well with the English muffin.“
“Had dinner here with my best friend. It was on St.Pattys weekend so the place was completely packed. The hostess may have been overwhelmed and not the friendliest, however our waitress was absolutely amazing. She gave great food recommendations and despite being super busy, she was on point with her service. Food and drinks were delicious. Will be planning girls night here soon, but maybe not on a holiday or major sports day.“
“the food here is amazing!! they made an adjustment for me because i'm a vegetarian and made tofu in a dish served with meat. i also ordered a lot of things spicy and they did not fail! super quick & sweet people. i will be coming back“
“This was our first time dinning here but had heard good reviews from friends and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, they came around with more meat even after we threw in the towel. It was so good we had to finish it! The salad bar was small but the things that were in it were excellent! The sides of potatoes were perfect and the fried bananas were a perfect compliment to the saltiness of the meats. We definitely found a new favorite restaurant in Schaumburg, 5 stars!Kid-friendliness: The waitstaff was excellent, polite and generous.!“
“Lu’s was recommended and we couldn’t be more pleased. A great choice and nothing disappointed. Crab Rangoon was delicious, pot stickers were dense and fill of flavor and the Mongolian beef simply the best I have ever had. There was a sweetness to the gravy and I can’t wait to have leftovers today.“
“I was part of a group of 10+ people, and they did a good job accommodating us. I had the Bistro Burger with a veggie patty substitute, and the onion strings added a nice crispy texture to the burger. I like that you can substitute a veggie patty on the burgers there.Vegetarian options: You can substitute a beef patty for a vegetarian patty on the burgers“
“Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.“
“1st visit. Nice location, Town Square, so easy to find and plenty of parking. The beers were great, the sandwich was so, so. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, with bacon, greens and tomato. There was a sauce on the pile and the sandwich just dropped and eventually was so sloppy as not able to really pick it up. Fries were a tiny cut and they turned cold fairly fast. There are lots of items on the menu, I look forward to trying other things.Parking: Parking on Sunday about 6:00pm was fairly open.“
“Our meal last night was excellent..... I may be a bit biased as I have been eating their pizza since the mid 1960's : ) But last night was not an exercise in nostalgia - it's still the best pizza anywhere.Anyway we were thrilled to celebrate our wedding anniversary there! Thanks again for another fine meal...“
