“I'm from Central Illinois but do quite a bit of traveling and have been searching for the type of birria I have eaten in both Mexico and on the west coast. Every place before has left me wanting, searching for the angel that is true birria and consume. This place totally delivered. The meat was so incredible tender, the onions adding a bit of crunch, and the consume was not only full flavor (and the perfect level of heat) but had that distinct mouthfeel I've been looking for.If you're looking for great authentic Mexican food you have got to try this place. I seriously don't remember the last time something was so good I was compelled to leave a review.“

“I celebrated my birthday yesterday and staff was very friendly to accommodate my party of 25 out in their patio which they had heaters and a fire pit..plus a TV outside it felt like I was in my back yard . Food was delicious and nice and warm. “Love this little gem (second location in Rolling Meadows) attached to the gas station! As authentic as it comes! Menu is simple and the food and flavors are amazing. “Tonight was our 1st time trying this place. This will be my go to for Mexican food. I had a 3 taco dinner and wife had Quesadilla dinner. Portions were big and everything had flavor. We were not disappointed one bit. I had a favorite place but this place has changed my mind and will continue going there.“

“Passed this place early this morning and had to turn around when we saw it was open for breakfast. My husband loves chorizo but I decided to skip it. He ordered the Huevo con Papa y Chorizo ($9.50) which is Mexican sausage with potato and eggs. It came with five tortillas, beans, rice, and a side each of the red salsa and verde. They wrapped the corn tortillas in foil and they were piping hot which is nice since we took the food to go. I had no plans on eating any of it, just because I tend not to like chorizo or refried beans, but I took a taste and was hooked! The refried beans were very flavorful and the single order was enough food for us to share. The verde was delicious, and the red salsa, which we usually avoid, was super spicy but good too. Would like to try more things from this place.“

“In my opinion, the truth is that the food needs more attention. I passed by with my wife and we ordered Milanese cakes and the truth is I didn't like them because they left them very dry and almost golden. I didn't like them and it's a good place. It's a matter of the owner paying attention to it. and it will be a better restaurant.“

“Sunday morning and all alone. So Mexican food for Breakfast. Carne en su jugo. (Meat in it own juices) garnish with some veggies and tortillas.
