Today I wanted to pamper myself, I went to eat at Sabor de mi Tierra and this is what I found: warm welcome, delicious sauce with a soup to whet your appetite, delicious quesabirrias and an incredible prepared mineral water. Super attentive with the service, the place was full, but everything flowed very efficiently. Congratulations and see you soon there! I threaten to return .
Great service, big portions, and hand made tortillas. The chips were a bit stale but the salsa was good. Drink servings are generous too. My steak plate was HUGE. It was well prepared and had veggies, fries, rice, beans and guac. Not a big fan of the beans which seemed very salty, or the rice that was a bit dry but overall I'm happy with my meal.

I'm from Central Illinois but do quite a bit of traveling and have been searching for the type of birria I have eaten in both Mexico and on the west coast. Every place before has left me wanting, searching for the angel that is true birria and consume. This place totally delivered. The meat was so incredible tender, the onions adding a bit of crunch, and the consume was not only full flavor (and the perfect level of heat) but had that distinct mouthfeel I've been looking for.If...read full review
