“Friendly neighborhood older tavern. You can walk in a stranger and leave as a friend. I love the older woodwork and old stained glass lights. Visited a few times recently while staying in the area, and always felt at home. Friendly staff and patrons. Nice older establishment that's worth a visit.“
“Slots is awesome...always friendly and CLEAN. The workers are always brightly smiled and genuinely NICE...unlike ALOT of places. The place is always SPOTLESS with the workers making sure the machines are cleaned after every use...which I don't see much of elsewhere unfortunately. And the drink selections are not just beer and wine/coolers...they actually know HOW to whip up a cocktail!“
“We had a fantastic dinner here. Husband had the Wild Western burger and I had the sliders. Meat quality was awesome, cooked perfect. Fries and chips and tots were great. Our server Jen was super nice, attentive, and just overall took good care of us. It was our first time here and we will be back!“

“No wake is great. The servers and bartenders are really friendly. The prices at this bar are always reasonable. I always enjoy the food when I visit. Atmosphere is fun too. This bar is popular but gets more crowded in the summer months. Located on the Fox River it's always fun to stop while boating. They also have gas for refueling boats. There are also a lot machines and there is outdoor seating in the summer months. I would highly recommend visiting no wake.“
“Stopped in quick for some pizza and to watch the game. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved their tater tots. Pizza wasn't our style, but hit the spot after a long drive. Great place to watch the game.Parking: Lot is pretty small and a little difficult to get in and out of, but there was parking available.“

“Good Fish Fry. Very friendly staff. I opted for the sweet potato tots which were a little over done on the outside but still soft in the middle. A lot of your classic bar food dishes. They offer home made soups daily. It can get a bit loud inside. Overall, a great place to stop by and have a bite to eat!“

“We dined in tonight and it was busy and took a little while to get menus and drinks but it was totally worth the wait. The food was AMAZING along w the margaritas flight. “Everything on the menu seems to be amazing. The service is always friendly and fast, and the food is often out so fast that I'm surprised by it. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants out there, and this one is tied for the top spot in my experience. I seriously only know one other restaurant with food this good, and have only had tacos as gourmet as these twice in my life. It's not just good. “Celebrated my fiancé 30th birthday there and it was the best. Kenny made sure we had everything set days before the party, showed up to the party to help out and make sure everything was great. He would keep up with checking in every so often which was nice to have the owner involved and actually care how it was all going. The bartenders were super awesome and made sure to check on everyone who was in the golf simulator on drinks and food. Overall I’m so thrilled we did his party there. Would 100% recommend lulu’s to anyone who is looking for a nice, clean, laidback vibe and overall fun. Thank you guys for being so awesome!“
“Nice little dive bar. Found it as we messed up the train schedule coming back from Medinah and enjoyed some beer and pool. Close to the casino so we walked over there for a bit then headed back to the bar for a last round before catching the right train back home. Definitely an old building which is cool. If I was ever near there again I would stop in.“
“Lots of potential here. Cozy with a large outdoor area including seating with fire pits. Wood is $15 if you want a fire. Clean restrooms and friendly service are found here along with newer but tight indoor seating area. Will go back as this was our first visit. Live guitar player/singer outside named Josh that sounded very good but froze his fingers off... Tap Room, give him some heat! Met friendly and fun people so looking forward to stopping in again. People come in off the street while walking their dogs just to say "hi". The look is an eclectic mix of rock n roll meets pop with some hippy mixed in. In the back is fun outside seating. Parking can be a bit tough if you are not familiar with the area. Matt’s is a dive bar vibe with enough TV’s to keep you entertained by the game. Worn but kept pretty clean!! No kitchen . Only a couple of gambling machines. The patrons were mixed between locals and people waiting for the train across the street- everyone was friendly. Kelly O the bartender did a fantastic job. The big win that impressed me was a big crowd came in and the owner jumped in and helped unlike most places where they let the bartender drown and the customers suffer. “Really cannot rate the food yet, as we just went there for some wine.This establishment serves whisky (bourbon, Scotch, Irish whisky, Japanese whisky, and Tennessee whisky) and wines.Wine tastings are available for about $20-$45. Membership not needed.The bartender, Ashley, was a fully-rated whisky sommelier, and was very knowledgeable about most of their 200-plus bottles.We will plan to host an event here in April and should have more info then.“
