“Five stars all around for this wonderful restaurant! As first time diners we weren't sure what to expect as all dishes are gluten-free, however every dish was delicious and satisfying. Our party started with 2 very tasty appetizers of Mussels and Cheese Curds. We then enjoyed the House and Seasonal Salads, both having a wonderful honey mustard vinaigrette. For an added touch, the Seasonal Salad was topped with goat cheese. I can't say enough about our entrees. Not only were the presentations well done, all tasted as wonderful as they looked! The Skate Wing with Snap Peas was a mild white meat fish, with caper brown butter sauce. The Short Rib was perfectly done and topped with brown sugar glaze. The Hanger Steak, ordered medium rare, had a roasted peppered chutney, charred on the outside, and two roasted whipped sweet potatoes. Our meal was topped off with the Julian's Frozen Custard dessert and espresso. The restaurant itself is somewhat small, with a cozy and charming feel to it so reservations are a must! Our service thruout the evening was exceptional so kudos to the attentive staff. A final note there is additional parking across the street so take advantage when the main lot is full. Will definitely be dining here again!“
“It's a very nice coffee shop with good food and drink selection. Nice environment. Overall it's worth a perfect 5 star review across all fields. My only little personal opinion is not being too fund of the live music on Friday which, depending on you, can potentially kill the mood if you just wanted to relax after the work week. Donno. Not what I envision a coffee shop having as opposed to a bar? If their hours were longer on the other days I'd definitely drop in then instead. Just my thoughts. Don't change anything just because of what I think. ☆☆☆☆☆“
“The best food I’ve had in the area since moving out 2 years ago from the West. Local food options in the Dundee, Algonquin, Crystal Lake, McHenry area have been very disappointing. This has been the standout. We got the Tuscan Fires as an app, sausage and mushroom pizza, and rosemary sausage pizza. All were excellent.“
“First time at this location for Cooper's Hawk, & it was a wonderful experience! I went to Cooper's Hawk for lunch with my youngest brother & mother for Easter Lunch. We were greeted with such a warm & welcoming atmosphere & presence from the staff in attendance. I got the Crab, Shrimp & Lobster Bisque as an appetizer, & it was my very first time trying it, & it was delicious! I also tried the Brussels sprouts dish they had as an appetizer & they were really good. As my meal I had the Baked Parmesan Shrimp Scampi, absolutely amazing! The only thing was that it was slightly swimming in the oil/sauce, but otherwise it was delicious!! Would HIGHLY recommend this location to friends & family, & would definitely come back!!!“
